^Sis Agape, try to visit sa OB. Nache-check yung PCOS through transV ultrasound.

^Required ba mag undergo talaga ng TVS to determine if PCOS ka?
Di ba pwede mga blood/urine/hormone tests muna?
Pag nag recommend ba ang OB for TVS, pwede tumanggi? Takot ako sa procedure.
How much pala price range yung TVS?

I think they do routine questions saka yung blood test to check if your hormones are ibalanced or not...

^thanks.
I am now CD32 + 23 days no period.
I just had my whole abdomen ultrasound last Jan 14, Monday.
Organs look normal, except for what worries me
Thickened Endometrium 17mm
(due to missed period -> late ovulation? stress? low progesterone? estrogen dominance?)
Retroverted Uterus

The retroverted uterus 5.1 x 3.8 x 4.9 cm. No focal lesions seen.  The endometrial
stripe measures 17.0 mm.  The cervix is intact.  The ovaries are not visualized.
Adnexal areas and cul-de-sac are clear.
IMPRESSION:
Urinary bladder retention of 31.5%
Normal sonogram of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, aorta, para-aortic
areas and kidneys.
Normal sized retroverted uterus with thickened endometrium.
Clear adnexal areas.

I don't know yet my next steps, I tend to do my own health check-ups, I asked a friend doctor (not an OB) if I can have a request for the lab tests lang. I still have to get my results and have an OB read it. Or maybe take extra hormone tests (fertility, endocrine, thyroid, etc)

Hmmmm....may I ask if why ayaw mo mag pa trans v or transrectal? Baka kasi PCOS ka sis, much better sana if you consult an expert like an OB so she would know what to advise. Usually pag PCOS ka magrerecommend ng pills like Althea or Lady, that's to regulate period. Alam ko scary talaga ang magpa ultrasound pero it's for your health naman so don't further delay it para safe. Good luck! =)

I am a PCOS patient now and I am 34 yrs old. Sabi dito yung iba 4-5 years na gamutan bago nagka-anak.

Mine is Bilateral midly polycystoc ovaries and liver grade1 fatty changes plus retroverted uterus pa.

agape - i believe yes sis, need ng transv, kasi dun makikita talaga yung ovary. ;) sa bandang ibabaw lang sya, and you wouldn't even feel it. basta relax ka lang.

I was diagnosed to have PCOS on my right ovary, pero nabuntis naman ako after 16 months of trying to conceive.

So don't be scared, kung kelangan mu to gawin mu. Kaya mu yan sis.

Hello mga sis.

sabi ko sa kabilang thread I recently posted here that I have PCOS.

I still do. But after 3 weeks of medication..I got pregnant. I was shocked! and happy of course, I wasn't expecting this to be too soon.

So please dont stress yourself. Mangyayari yan pag pinag dadasal.

Mga sis, my sister and I are both have PCOS. Recetly lang magkasama kaming nagpacheck up on this. Every 6 months lang ako dinadatnan that means twice a year lang ako nagkakaron minsa lumalagpas pa ng taon.

Congrats sis ana0416 keep on praying everything will be ok :)

I was diagnosed of PCO last nov-2013 (bilateral). May-2013 lang kami kinasal so upon knowing condition ko we were expecting conceiving can be difficult for us. I took pills for a month pero nag quit din ako. Come feb-2014 we discovered we are pregnant. Umokey yung right ovary ko so far left ovary na lang ang me pco characteristic. So i can say having PCO means me chances pa rin talaga to get pregnant. :)

I had polycystic ovaries. Normal weight ako at may period monthly. I was diagnosed dahil sa prolonged period ko, usually tumatagal ng 10 days or more (spotting).

I was able to conceive naturally after 7 months of trying. Actually hindi lang basta juicing, smoothie style ng ibat ibang gulay na pwedeng i-blender (just imaging the taste :o ) hehe Healthy living really helped me during that time.

I'm not sure if I still have it, kasi nag-pills ako after I gave birth to my daughter.. Pero recently nag-stop na ako ng pills.
