Antibiotics for acne: Doxycycline/tetracycline/minocycline etc.

hi. nakita ko tong thread na to pero hindi na pwede magreply na lock na yata... kaya gumawa ako bago...ano yung mga binigay sainyo na antibiotics for acne? sakin doxycycline, it worked before mga 2-3months ko gamit,nag clear skin ko at moderate to severe pa acne ko that time, now bumalik pimples ko so pinagamit ako ulit 2 weeks palang naman, konti lang changes na nakita ko. siguro it takes time, hayyy sana mag clear nako ulit... Share niyo experiences niyo sisses... Sainyo ano yung effective? thanks!

my derma gave me doxyclate yata yon. basta doxy yung start. I took it fo ten days tas twice a day yata or once? matagal-tagal na rin. tas yun lang. pinatake lang ako during my first visit since marami-rami akogng "alaga" non. luckily, marks nalang ngayon.

wow nakakagaling pala ang doxycycline for pimples/acne.
merun kasi ako paminsan-minsan na "babies".
anyhow, it was prescribed to me by our company doctor, for 4 weeks once a day, for my allergies. He even recommended me for skin biopsy.

i was given clyndamycin before nagkaroon ako ng small butlig butlig sa noo it cleared up my skin.

doxycycline din na try ko. okay din while you're using it but once you stopped, yun na, labasan na sila ulit.

I am now taking doxydar naman, more than a week ko na gamit but may pasulpot sulpot pa din na pimples. but my doctor adviced me to take it for 30days plus clindacin t solution..

same here for me. parang the antibiotics was not working anymore. I'm taking Doxycycline rin.

Nung nagpacheck up ako sa derma ko they prescribed me Tetracylline (dunno the righ spelling) tinake ko sya for around 3 weeks ata along with other products. It really helped a lot. Now puro darkspots na lang and acne scars ang problem ko. May mga minimal pimples but I use products fro. My one and only trusted derma. hehe

Hi, pwede ba mag take ng gluta pag nagtatake ng acne meds? Or gluta IV?

Hi Sis, how bad is your acne and do you notice any improvements with erythromycin?  My 12 yo son has just started taking erythromycin last week and I noticed that some of the pimples are starting to dry out but he's also using eryacne cream.  He has a really bad acne.

Hi girls, since naka ECQ ngayon i can't go for a consultation with a derma. I would like to have a prescription of doxcycycline sana. I am having breakouts! At eto pinapatake sakin before, effective siya for me.

Baka may online consultation yung mga derma ninyo na nagpprescribe ng doxy?

Hi po mga Sis! Doxycycline pa lang din po nairecommend po sakin ng Derma ko. Will start trying it tomorrow and I am not sure of what to expect. Ngayon kinakabahan an rin po ako an when I stop taking it, my pimples would go back (OA ko haha di ko pa nga naistart). My derma rin po kasi is really not that active to answering queries so I am hoping of finding an answer here. Thank you po!
