present po!  :)

^ ako sis MaraMeow by choice. cliche as it may sound, there were a LOT of irreconcilable differences between me and my son's dad. plus the hard fact that i was a battered gf when we were together. ikaw sis, i saw your post that you're a teen single mom. how are you coping with it?  :)

Hello sis slickchick :) Im okay now. Tanggap ko na na masyadong takot sa responsibilities ang father ng baby ko kaya dineny niya kami and hindi ko na pinagpilitan pa sarili ko kasi I believe with the help of God and support from my family, I can be a good mother&father to my daughter. Iba talaga pag may support ng family. :)

Pero minsan, I just feel bad kasi hindi ako yung nagproprovide ng mga needs ni baby.. ang mommy ko pa kasi Im still studying. Tska there are times na I feel sad din for my baby kasi dahil sa akin wala siyang kikilalaning father. Pag dumadating yung mga time na ganyan iniisip ko na lang lagi everything happens for a special reason and God has a wonderful plan for me and my baby. :)

Battered gf sis? Grabe hindi ko talaga maintindihan mga guys na kaya manakit ng girls. >_< Gaano katagal ka na po single mom?

^ sis MaraMeow, be thankful that your family is very supportive. and it is a good thing that you decided to continue your studies. iba din kasi sis yung may tinapos ka. it will be a good investment, not only for you, but for your child also. how old is your kid? from experience, i suggest wag mo na muna isipin yung thought na "dahil syo, walang kikilalaning father" yung baby mo. instead, re-program your thoughts - "ako ang inaasahan ng baby ko, so i have to do my best in life.. not only for myself, but also for my son/daughter"... sisterly advice lang..  :)

i'm a single mom for 7 years na. and yes sis, i was a battered gf when i was still with my son's dad. konting arguments and disagreements lang, andun yung nasampal ako at napilipit ang arms ko. even nung pregnant na ako, i was not spared. to think that my parents had never laid their hands on me, even if galit sila. madami talaga kaming irreconcilable differences. i thought we'll be able to work it out when we lived together, kaya lang, things became worse.. kaya i decided na rin to leave him. mas mahirap yung magkasama kami tapos makikita ng bata yung away namin. it's not a good example for the child.

hello girls!

sis MaraMeow, I feel you. Ganyan din dati status ko, my parents provide for our needs. Pero since andyan na yan, what you can do is ayusin yung life mo so you can make your parents proud even after the worries you gave them and para na din makaalis ka sa ganyang status as soon as possible.

sis slickchick how are you na?

im a single mom for almost 5 years na. married ako sa dad nila, i was 19 then. i have two wonderful kids by the way :) lately we tried to see whether this marriage will still work. well, that's been after 3 or 4 years of no talking. i realized wala na talaga. masyadong iba na yung life na ginagalawan namin and the only reason why we talk is because of our kids.

thankful naman ako na after bumalik sya sa life ng mga bata, he's providing for their needs. maybe hindi sya naging maayos na husband sa akin but okay na din, kasi he's reaching out sa mga bata. and for me, i just have to stay a little stronger everyday. have to be the mom and dad. im contented this way although kapag school affairs like family day, i cant help but feel sad.

MaraMeow, ok yan tuloy mo lang pag-aaral mo. grab the opportunity while you still can. you will need that to raise your child  :) ako after ko manganak sa eldest ko nun, i went back to college. my dad was the one naman providing for my son's needs nun.

chiqmom, siguro kasi you were married, tapos siyempre you were both sharing those responsibilities dati pag family day kaya naninibago ka pa rin kahit pano. kaya mo yan, as long as ok naman kayo, you can still attend naman family days together diba?  :)

hello sis chiqmom!! musta ka na sis? i read your post below, and nice to know na at least nagpapakita na pala si SD (sperm donor) sa mga bata. tama sis.. siguro, he may not be a good husband sa 'yo, but at least he's doing his part in being a father sa mga bata. sana maging consistent lang sya about it. mahirap din kasi yung ngayon makikita sya ng mga bata, then after a few visits, eh mag-disappering act ulit sya. wawa na naman mga kids. and about school affairs, like family day, naku sis! i can relate.. kaya nga kapag may family day, bumibili na lang ako ng additional tickets para makasama yung brother ko, at parents ko. para hindi ma-feel ng son ko yung kawalan ng isang parent. at least wala man syang kasama father, tatlo naman agad ang kapalit - his uncle, lolo, and lola.  :D

sis babyboo0326, bilib ako syo sis. nakatagal ka ng 5 years with him kahit sinasaktan ka nya. i really wonder bakit may mga lalakeng ganun - yung kayang manakit ng babae. i know hindi naman din tayo perfect, na minsan misunderstandings and disagreements arise, pero why do they have to hit their gf/wives? nakakawala ng respeto...

sis babyboo.0326. yup siguro yun ang reason why i was really praying for a second chance. ang daming what if kasi dati. now, i realized wala na talaga.

Joining. Masaya kasi you have all the attention. But lately, nagkakaisip na sya (she's turning 4) nagtatanong na sya.

hi sis yssayjayla! naku sis.. expect that especially that your daughter is in the "inquisitive stage" na. mas magtatanong pa sya when she begins schooling kasi makikita nya na most of her classmates have complete set of parents. in the case of my son, maaga ko sinabi sa kanya. when he first raised the question, i already gave him an idea of what our family setup is. ni-explain ko na nga lang sa kanya in a way na mauunawaan nya (as he was only 2 or 3 when he first brought up the question).

yssayjayla, you know what i did when my eldest asked me about it when he was growing up? i told him the truth. and everytime he asks, i just tell him the same thing. so now that he's 15 years old, i ask him if he wants to meet his dad, he just says ok lang kung makilala niya, ok lang if not. kasi i've been honest from the start.

slickchick, in all those times naman sis hindi all the time e sinasaktan niya ako. although, i can't find any reason for him to do that kasi ako ang nagwo-work and siya ang nasa bahay lang. siya pa ang malakas ang loob to do that  ;D

chiqmom, oo nga siguro. at least now mas maliwanag na sayo why it didn't work in the first place  :)
