I have hairy legs so ang gamit ko epilator at least di ako mapapagastos sa wax everytime it grow back... sobrang kapal nung akin gusto ko magpaLaser... Nakakainsecure makinis na legs.

Tried both. Medyo hassle at mas magastos ang waxing so I ended up epilating. I had my Philips Epilator for more than 3 years I think pero ngayon kailangan may angle na yung cord para gumana siya
I also get chicken skin sa legs but what I do is to tweeze the ingrown hair sa legs (those black bumps - yung hair na hindi tama yung pag grow) then regularly use milk salt scrub sa legs. Nawawala naman yung bumps after few days and get smoother legs.

I bought an epilator before, it was so long ago nakalimutan ko na yung brand. Basta yun lang yung available sa Watson's tapos recommended dito sa Girltalk, syempre. Yun yung time na nagtr-travel ako lagi, at sobrang hassle dalhin yung epilator. Sobrang ingay pa -- lagi ako tinatanong nung then-boyfriend (now husband) ko kung ano ginagawa ko. At one point, naiwan ko yung epilator sa isang homebase ko hanggang nakalimutan ko na at tuluyan na nasira.

Nung time na yun, pinaka-importante sa akin ang convenience kaya shave lang ako. Pero ngayon na may anak ako na mahilig pumulupot sa legs, dyahe na na may spiky stubble. Kaya gumagastos na ako for waxing pero hindi ko naman matiis yung waiting period in between hair growths. Kaya eto, in the market uli for an epilator. Parang interesting yung Braun, sana mas-quiet na ang epilator models ngayon.

Ladies, hope you can help me with this.  (this is a bit long, please bear with me)

I bought my first epilator last week, Braun Epil 5 and used it the same day. Did all the preps - bath, exfoliate. The process was a bit painful and I had to stop a few times, after i'm done with both legs, i used the cooling pad that was included on the box and put coconut oil on my legs.I was very happy with the results naman, the next day I didn't wash my legs cause i figured it will be the same process when I had waxing. By night time i just realized that my legs is full of pimples, not just red bumps but full on red angry pimples some of it with white heads pa! Its been a few days and the pimples are getting worst to the point na there's pain when i walk.

For now, i'm using my facial wash on my legs and putting some acne cream on the pimples, I've also started taking amoxicillin kasi some of the pimples are getting big that when i touch it para na syang kagat ng cockroach. Now para na akong may galis. Sadly, i'm one of the unfortunate ones who scar easily, i'll have black spots on my legs for months because of this

Is this normal or this is an exemption?
I have very thick hair kasi so if i shave in the morning, mga 4pm i would feel stubble on my legs and if i wax naman i have to wait na humaba talaga causing me not to be able to wear short and dress. I'm very happy with the results of my epilator and if i can, i would want to continue using it but not with this epic pimple break out. Anyone experience this? or anyone who can help na hindi na ito maulit?

braun silk epil epilator ko more than 5 years na sa akin gumagana pa. sa legs ko lang ginagamit. kakatamad lang linisin di ko alam paano. wala na rin sya sa box pakalat kalat na haha

chatter addict, could be that your pores were open and then you applied coconut oil kaya the pores got clogged.  Why don't you do something more permanent?

I haven't tried epilator pero I had my eyes on it years ago but I opt to LHR on my armpit kasi 'yun lang naman may buhok sa'kin. Nagwawax pa din ako sa armpit kasi 'di pa totally hair free.

My sister uses the Philips one. Satisfied sya, better than shaving daw saka mas tipid kesa sa waxing salons. Ako natatakot mag epilator feeling ko kasi mas masakit kesa sa waxing. Numb kasi feeling ko pag wina wax eh. Naiintimidate ako sa epilator. Haha.

Yes! Hehe. Actually, Philips ventured into a lot of products. May teeth whitening kit din sila and even the Avent feeding bottle is Philips din.

Hahaha nakakaintimidate ba sis..sa umpisa lang yan. Masakit ang epilator, naalala ko first time ko gumamit mangiyak ngiyak talaga ako sa sakit 😂
But after some time ok na. Madali lang gamitin, at pansin ko mas matagal at mas manipis ang hair regrowth.
