EPILATOR vs WAXING

I got my panasonic from sogo hongkong, cant remember how much pero a bit expensive during that time. Around 5yrs ago na. it is rechargable kaya sulit naman. If epilator sa legs, less than 5min lang per leg depends on toleration sa pain and hair length. I use the shaver most of the time para mabilis, yet mabilis din when it grows back. Best after a hot bath para open pa pores ng skin. Value for money  [textspeak!] matibay and  never napupurol.

^ kailangan straight yung epilator habang gina-glide para kuha lahat, wala na ako problem using my epilator eh kuha lahat ng hair, kapag napa-slant kahit kaunti mamula at mahapdi yung skin saka hindi makukuha lahat, mas ok din sa akin kapag dahan dahan pag glide

^yes sis, 90 degrees, so parang nakatutok talaga dun sa part na tatanggalan ng hair. basta wag mong didiinan sa skin, glide lang talaga siya na bahala humila sa hair.

^ yes 90 degrees angle sis and against sa direction ng hair growth. I noticed kasi before medyo rough dati yung skin after I epilated my right leg. means maraming naputol than na epilate, so I tried a different technique na parang ginagawa sa waxing. against sa direction ng hair growth ang pull kapag wax diba, napanood ko pa sa youtube sinusundan nila yung direction ng hair and by section sila specially if iba iba tubo kasi hindi naman iisa lang yung direction, ayun, worked well ang smooth ng left leg ko that time, lol.

i prefer epilating since it's faster and more convenient. been using my Braun-Silk epilator for almost 2 years. waxing is messy and takes a lot of time, including having to wait for the hair to grow a certain length before you can pull it out.

I plan to have my Brazilian wax and underarm wax first before I try using my epilator for the first time para manipis yung hair. Would this be fine? Sana para konti lang yung pain associated with thick hair.

Finally got the chance to try the epilator down there...grabeh! masakit pla talaga...hahaha..pero sabi nga nila, "no pain, no gain" right? I was able to finish mga 30% siguro. gusto ko icontinue mamya =)) pero mas okay pa rin talaga yung strips na ginagamit sa lay bare, kasi biglaan ang pagpull. pero in fairness naman, [textspeak!] part na naepilate ko, same effect ng kapag nagpa-laybare ka.yun nga lang, kelangan talagang tiisin yung sakit. alam ko pwedeng applyan ng numbing cream. mga sis, meron bang nabibili na ganun sa watsons? tsaka anong name? pagkakaalala ko, may niaapply din na cream after, tulad nung sa laybare. not sure nga lang kung anong name. may marerecommend ba kayo mga sis?

^ ok din sis, but the results are same, the pain is somewhat the same din so kahit wag ka na magpa-wax ok lang. after your first time of epilating the growth will be less thick. napansin ko lang sa epilator ko when i use it sa legs nakikita ko yung dinaanan nung epilator nagmamarka siya na parang  stretchmarks... but after one day nawawala din

tikitakz, nakita ko na ang tweezers like na inaattach sis! Bigla ako natakot! Yung shaver lang kasi ginagamit ko since binili ko ito. I have yet to try. Pero not down there. Sa UA lang. Hot wax ako down there.

HG product talaga ang epilator for me mga sis. Before I shave, wax and tweeze. Kumapal lang and naging coarse ang hair ko sa kakashave although convenient and mabilis. Sa waxing, okay lang dati nung nasa pinas ako punta lang ako sa salon or gamit ng hot wax at home pero after that si hubby na ang nag volunteer mag pluck kaso matrabaho at matagal. Ngayon I use an epilator for my underarms and legs and panipis nang panipis ang tubo ng hair. Huwag niyo masyadong hintayin humaba kasi mas masakit kapag nagbubunot. Mga 1/4 in will do. Mine is rechargeable so I can use it anywhere and anytime. Hindi ko kayang mag epilate sa pubic area. I tried before pero hindi ko kaya ang pain. Dumugo pa yata ang follicles hehe kaya I just shave down there.

^same! shave lang ako down there pero kung kailangan talaga, I go to a waxing salon except lay bare for Brazilian kasi ang sakit sakit talaga nung slow process nila. Mas gusto ko yung once or twice na hila lang. Sa underarm naman, I used to epilate kaya lang, lagi ko nakakalimutan na it's time na kaya mahaba na yung hair and masakit! I've been epilating for a year, yet di ko pa rin tolerable yung pain kaya now lay bare nalang for underarms. I haven't used my epilator in maybe six months now.

Di advisable gamitin ang epilator sa labia (yung lips down there) becasue the skin is very stretchy, unlike the skin or our arms and legs.

For example, in waxing the skin must be held taut (*as in stretched tight) to make sure the hair is pulled out right or else masakit diba?

The possibility when you use an epilator on the labia is baka ma- pull nga yung hair by stretching the skin too much before the hairs even get pulled out --OUCH -- or you might actusally catch a litte skin in the epilator -- OWIE.
