Epilated my legs a few months ago. I didn't notice na i epilated an area na may mga indentations galing sa weird position ng leg ko nung nakaupo ako bago maligo. Nag-ingrown lahat ng nasa area. exfoliating and waiting for recovery. Sayang kasi gusto ko pa naman mag-epilate.

Currently cold wax for me but I really want to get an epilator. Kaya lang yung nakita ko sa Rustan's last time hindi yung chargeable, yun sana gusto ko para hindi hassle na dapat nakasaksak lagi.

Last time I waxed, walang ingrown but there was a time na merong konti and nagtaka ko kung anong difference sa usual na ginagawa ko, too bad hindi ko talaga nadiscover kung ano yung iba kong ginawa na nagcause ng ingrown. Sana lang hindi ko na maulit.

My Mom bought and sent me a Panasonic Epilator. I love it! But In most cases, I still prefer to use wax. Pag Epilator kasi, minsan it doesn't get the hair from the root, napuputol lang. And it's not recommended for the underarm and bikini area. So I mostly use it for the legs and occasionally sa arms. Pag sa waxing naman kasi, added benefit of exfoliation, and if ever hindi lahat makuha, follow up with tweezers nalang.

ok, for those using wax, i mean DIY, what is the brand you are using? until now, di pa ko nakakabili ng epi, hayst...

^i'm using strip it (cold/sugar wax)... if you prefer hot wax, epellin is available at local grocery/department stores like landmark, watsons, etc

I used epilator kaso nagbubukol sya at mga ingrown kahit nag scrub ako..at yung pinagtubuan parang naging visible ang pores ko...para sakin pinakamaganda pa din ang waxing..malinis tignan at smooth

^ kahit sa waxing naman sis meron parin, parang hair stub, hehe. ganun talaga when the hair is still under the skin. makati nga eh, although ngayon mas sanay na ako compared before.

^i agree...or baka mahina bat/charge,bumagal ang hila? Anyways, parehas ko pa din talaga ginagamit. Yung masyadong maigsi at iba pang naiiwan ng wax, or di ko na kayang hintayin humaba, epilator gamit ko.

I recommend BRAUN. SILK EPIL. Hindi siya napputol.. Nkkuha tlaga nia from the root.. =)

^ This is my model ren. My previous Braun 10+ years ko nagamit until yung plug ang nasira. Have the blue silk epil with the led light. I've been epilating for almost 20 years. It's convenient as I've never been a waxer, too messy. Me naman never used pre epilating lotions, I use post epilating lotions kasi my skin gets irritated. Been recommending Cliven's After Hair Removal cream sa Philips Satinelle thread, it's P245 sa Rustans. Like this a lot cos it's very soothing sa skin.

If continous na kayo mag epilate even ingrowns will be minimized. I get most of mine sa knees,maybe cos skin is thicker here, bihira sa legs or even sa UA wc I only recently started epilating. It's great cos I'm hair free for almost 2 weeks. Nag lessen the darkening that happens w shaving, tho must say may chicken skin pa din, tho not very pronounced or rough anymore like you get w shaving.

You'll also notice hair growth is finer and eventually lessen too the longer you go using it sa legs. Sa UA it's just finer growth but so far it hasn't really lessened.

I'm using strip it wax.. super dali gamitin... first time ko magwax.. ok naman and painless.. tsaka para hindi messy, pagkaapply pinupunasan ko agad ng wet towel..

Emjoi epilator din gamit ko, I use it sa legs and underarms. Pero down there, nagpapa-Brazilian wax akey.

Im using Veet hair removal , yung jasmine ekek,hehe, so far so good,i noticed na mabagal ang tubo ng hair at manipis lanf din ang hair,no chicken skin din sa ua,i use this also for my bikini area,i used to be hair free downthere kapag my mens ako,hehe,,pero im planning magpawax,tatry ko lang kung ano feeling para maiba naman,hehe,,sana hindi masakit.

my epilator is Philips Satinelle HP6400. bought it in Rockwell, PCX store for P2, 229 only. its a plug-in type, no need to worry about batteries

been using it for a month already and im really happy with it. in a month's time, i only used it 2x! that's how long the hairs took to grow.
My UA is very smooth and "balahibong pusa" na yung buhok hehe  hardly can see it na nga eh, unless side view.

^ hi sis! we have the same brand of epilator bought it at PCX festival mall naman for P2299.
I prefer epilator over waxing, kasi messy for me when using wax. With epilator, plug lang tapos glide mo lang sa skin mo super bilis pa gamitin.
