^im ont familiar on what day CNY falls sorry. please refer to my previous post nalang. that was the scenario from last year's CNY.

^^very few shops lang ang open. not much shopping can be done. Kaya they use this time to really visit families, etc, since holiday nga yung 2 days. corny talaga, parang holy week lang, walang magawa. May river hongbao event though sa gabi, so ayun pwedeng photo opportunity. Pinoys naman take this opportunity to conduct get-togethers (bbq, inuman, etc).

At 2 days pala talaga ang holiday, so that would mean Monday and Tuesday for this year's CNY fatay

mga sis, sa January 23 (Monday) and 24 (Tuesday) yung CNY pero after pa nun kami balak pumunta ng KL, ask ko lang sis, pag nagpupunta ba kayo KL, pano ang route nyo? By bus lang ba ang transpo ninyo and my mare-recommend ba kayo na mura pero malinis naman na hotel to stay in? Bale 2D1N kami dun, balak lang namin visit yung Petronas Tower..

Mga sis. May naka try bang mag withdraw in SG using a Philippine-issued ATM? How much is the bank charge? What about yung exchange rate nya? Okay lang ba? Or is it still better to bring USD there and have it changed to SGD? Feeling ko kasi sa USD baka sobrang baba ng rate nya coz bilhin pa ang USD sa pinas, tapos pag dating dyan, I change nanaman to SGD. Any thoughts?

^ sis lischan, when i went to singapore last year, nag-withdraw na lang ako sa ATM. Metrobank bank ko, so nag-withdraw ako dun sa ATM na may Cirrus logo inside the airport. When I looked at my statement, the withdrawal charge is Php 153.30 and the conversion was Php 33.83/SGD. I'm not sure about the exchange rate at that time (my bad, I forgot to check it) but I think I still got a good rate. Less hassle for me since I did not need to exchange my peso to USD and then to SGD OR look for a Peso to SGD forex shop. hth. =)

^^ sis Grayce, read your post a bit late.. Just came back from sg. Hinde namin sure magkano bigay na tip.. When I asked the front desk naman, sabi nila, we don't need to give but if we want, we can daw mga 1-2sgd. Yung iba naman sa resto hinde na kami nag bigay, so it's good to know na hinde pala talaga uso hehe, thanks

i was tempted to book Airphil's promo to singapore.... bale lumalabas na 5,+++ pesos ang isang roundtrip kaso yung friend ko last minute nag back out nakakainis.... marami bang sale sa ngayon or tapos na kasi tapos na ang chinese new year?
