i arrived here in Singapore lat Jan22 and kakastart ko lang din halos magwork. Very stressful yung process ng EP application ha. Pero thank God naapprove naman ang pass ko.

Medyo nakakalungkot pala mamuhay ng mag-isa. madalas ako ma-homesick kaya super lagi ako sa mall.

@ sis charmed30 ako rin sis eh minsan malungkot walang ka lakwatsa. hay pero kailangan eh. so tiyaga tiyaga nalang. buti na lang ma GT

^uu nga sis. first time ko mawalay sa family ko and i can say super hirap and nakakaanxious and panic at times. what i do is to go to the mall para maaliw. and shopping also makes me relax ewan ko ba. kumusta naman ang savings kung ganun hayz.

ako nag da - dahan dahan ng shopping. hirap na ang liit ng space dito eh. puno na nga share ko ng cabinet space eh. and i still ran out of clothes at times.

anyway para di ma OT, mga sis what else do you do other than shopping to pass the time here in sg? the mommies i know will be busy with their kiddos but for the single ones?

^ I'm also curious about that sis. hehe kahit papunta pa lang ako dyan at maghahanap pa lang ng work, naiisip ko na yan. Napakadali ko pa namang mabored. ang dami ko ngang baong books baka kasi mahal books dyan e. (mahal nga ba mga sis or parehas lang dito?)
I see a lot of singapore mommies here in GT, they have their family with them there in SG. yung mga single kaya? siyempre liit lang ng SG, malamang nalibot nyo na lahat dyan.

^sis if you want books i can give you some hehe. pero di lang masyadong sikat ang mga authors.

actually marami namang mapupunatahan. if you are used to exploring the place alone then you wont be bored.

there's also fb and other internet related activities.

kaso kasi sa office namin ako na lang natitirang dalaga kaya walang kasama

you can check out kinokuniya, popular and page one on the net baka may available books for sale sila sa website nila then you can have an idea. or maybe you can give me one or two books i will try to pass by a books store sabihin ko sa yo magkano.

^sis sorry to discourage you, mahirap pasukin ang medical field dito unless via agency ka. maarte sila pagdating sa credentials dito.

tawid ng malaysia for the weekend sobrang bored ako dito sa bansa na to last summer when i was helping my aunt kasi wala talagang magawa dito kundi kumain at magshopping. kung wala lang pool ang condo ng auntie ko baka nabaliw na talaga ako back then. but 1 thing i like about this country is mabilis tumawid sa ibang bansa.

if time permits, i want to go to malacca sana for 1 weekend. it's one of the unesco heritage sites kasi. kaso kups ang mga malaysian IOs sa may JB border (as in yung mga malays talaga ha, not malaysian chinese, mga bastos tong mga to kahit babae walang sinasanto) nung last na tawid ko binubull**** pa ako na kung d daw ako "PR" d daw ako pwede tumawid kasi buntis ako. DAH? magimbento ba ng rules eh madalas kami tumawid ng border ng asawa ko so medyo nagtaray ako sabi ko ngayon lang ako natanong sa tyan ko kasi normally diredirecho lang naman ako and it's not like i need to secure a clearance kasi sa airline rules lang naman yun and ayun tahimik yung malay guy nung sinabi ko yan. and funny how he called me a singaporean PR e dun sa IC card ko you can see na i'm on a dependent pass.

^not sure, advise your sister to start looking and post her cv online na to jumpstart her job hunting here. like i said sa previous thread,bad time ang maghanap ng work dito ngayon kasi mahigpit sila sa pagbigay ng pass sa mga foreign talents nowadays.

lam ko po medyo in demand pharmacist sa SG, medyo mahirap nga lang talaga makakuha ng pass ngayon kase may quota para sa mga foreigners. pero try pa rin nya mag apply.
