mga sis, may marerecommend kayo family ktv here in SG? I did some research, meron mahal meron affordable naman although I am not sure kung per hour ba un or something, inclusions etc, sulit ba or not. Thanks!  Plan namin magvideoke this coming payday hehe.

ficklemind, sis sa KBOX kami madalas.. dun kami nag vivideoke.. per hour ang bayad dun.. consumable ang drinks if i recall it correctly..

sa Bintan, dun din kami sa Nirwana.. pero pwede magkakalapit din naman iyon.. nag rent kami ng buggy para makalibot.. dun ko din una natry ang archery which i found out na hilig ko pala! i want to go back para mag archery ulit.. meron din silang firing range which wasnt available that time na andun kami..

Turi beach din sabi nila maganda pero mahal.. Batam area naman ito..

Tonette, try mo sa 4th floor yung store directly across ng escalator.. minsan akong nakabili ng hotdog doon.. check mo kung meorn sila tocino.. for sure meron isa sa mga yan ang may tinda..

^^ sis tonette, di yata nila dinidisplay ang mga hotdogs, liver spread and other foods.  bawal yata kaya patago ang pagtitinda nila.  sabihin mo lang sa mga tindera.   yung lagi kong binibili sa lucky plaza ay silver swan soy sauce, del monte sweet style spaghetti sauce, bayleaf, mama sita's palabok mix, curry mix, tocino mix, chicharon, boy bawang, graham crackers for yummy desserts

share ko lang, yung former officemate ko, on and off ang pagbayad niya sa sss.  pag manganganak siya, babayad siya  para may maternity benefits na matatanggap.  pagkatapos, tigil naman.  walang proper internal control ang sss. kakaloka. LOL

re: US Visa
pede lang mag-apply ng US visa dito sa SG ang citizen, PR, or work permit holders. basta dito na naninirahan. hindi pede mag-apply dito ang tourist lang dito sa SG.  at kahit saang bansa ka mag-apply ng US visa, syempre dapat may proof ka na kaya mong suportahan ang sarili mo - yung hindi ka mag-TNT sa US...

re: deals/groupons
madami din akong ganyan. hahaha. pero sa groupon at superdeals(insing) pa lang ako nakakabili.  so far ok naman mga nabili ko. meron pa nga akong voucher for groove dance school - na di ko sure kung magagamit ko kasi nag-g-gym na ako. any takers?

im also a stay at home mom here in SG. more than 2.5yrs na akong SAHM. at first super boring!! pero once I had my routine, nakasanayan na din. now, i dont know if i can still go back to work and leave my daughter to yaya. super close na kami eh. ayaw na din nyang mag-work si mommy...

re: SSS & pag-ibig
hindi na kami nag-contribute since dumating kami dito sa SG. honestly, i dont believe na in the pension system sa pinas. would rather invest the money somewhere else...

im a little bit bored kasi more than a week na akong house arrest. mukhang ilang araw pa akong magtitiis...
im also excited for GSS pero kailangan din magtipid. baka bumili lang a few pieces for my little girl.  gastos month namin ang june eh...

i'm planning to get a life/savings insurance here singapore i just dont know kung ano pinaka-ok. gusto ko din sana ng health insurance tipong parang maxicare sa tin.

any recommendations?

KBox, meron silang outlets na Buffet yung food tapos around 30+ lang per person (i think around 4 hours of usage na yun..) .. Food is good (but not fantastic..)... at least enjoy..

I currently have a life insurance plus full hospitalization and personal accident insurance with Great Eastern.. Ok naman siya.. plus mabait naman yung agent ko kasi friend namin... Im also thinking of a savings plan pero im still thinking kung what bank is the best...

^anong product name nung great eastern insurance mo sis? how much yung binabayaran mo monthly?

^ SmartProtect yung Life Insurance ko tapos parang add in / personalize na yung Hospitalization, and Personal Accident Insurance... all in all $230++ SGD ang monthly nun pero kasi I paid the Hospitalization in a 1 year basis which is about $300 (about $150 is deducted from my CPF-Medisave).. then hiwalay pa yung accident plan,(which is kapag hindi naman ako na-hospitalize/ less than 6 hours lang sa hospital..) which I pay monthly around $20.. Then yung Life Insurance is $200 per month (the agent gave me a lower premium pero inopt ko na to para medyo malaki yung sum assured or Cash value when i'm 38.. saka single pa naman ako.. mas maganda na mag save ng magsave.. hehe)

nabasa ko dati pero di ko na mahanap eh..

mga sis, my sister is RN but konti lang experience nya as hospital nurse.. pero may experience sya as Call Center Agent  , pagnaghanap ba sya ng work dito at natanggap as Call center agent, may chance ba ma-aapprove pass nya? since Nurse graduate sya pero experience is Call Center. TIA!

Grayce: Thanks, sis! I'm currently working here in PH. Technically, it's my second job but I don't feel like staying in the company anymore. I want to find a job which is more related on my degree. Hopefully, I can find one soon!

^better if you have atleast 2-3yrs experience before you go here. if you're a com eng grad & related sa course mo yung job experience mo. better ang chance mo makakuha ng work. di na rin kasi ganun kadali makakuha ng work here, now pa na nanalo ang opposition & sila yung mas vocal na ayaw ng foreign talent. you can browse pinoysg.com for more infos etc.
