hi mga sis! biglaan may business trip si hubby sa Rome and plano ko sumama.

second time ko na ito. sana hindi naman ma deny ang visa. anyway, i'm planning to meet up with a friend while si hubby nasa work niya. then weekends, kami naman mamasyal. 2 weeks lang total ng trip.

from Rome, gusto ko sana bumalik sa Venice at pumunta sa outlet sa Florence. pano ang route namin? ano ang sasakyan?

based sa map, nasa taas ang venice, gitna ang florence then baba ang rome.

Kami sis yung ginawa ko before venice then florence then rome.. so yung sayo baliktan since you'll be coming from rome. Nag florence outlet din ako, ang saya!

from Rome to Florence, nag overnight ba kayo? first time ko sa Florence. sa Venice, baka si hubby nalang kasama ko doon since romantic. hehe. sa florence nalang kami gumala ng friend ko for shopping!

binabasa ko ang requirements, nahihilo ako. nagpa ayos ba kayo sa travel agency?

^  From Rome, you can just do a day trip to Florence & The Mall.  The Mall 30-40 minutes by bus from Florence.  The buses going to The Mall is just beside the Santa Maria Novella train station.  It's just a small outlet store (compared to the ones in the US) but very good selection & prices.  You can allot 4 hours there.

Overnight kami sa Florence sis. First time kasi tapos i wanted to go outlet shopping too so para hindi masyadong pagod nag overnight na kami.

^  I would also suggest that you bring a foldable umbrella.  Umuulan ulan na din kasi during that time.  Para di na kayo bumili dun ng payong 

Foldable umbrella is a good suggestion, since weather in Italy is unpredictable in summer. But I do not suggest to bring your own umbrella. I suggest you buy there na lang. You can find one for only 6 euros and you can at least have it as souvenir. I myself bought umbrellas and pamaypay in Rome, Florence and Venice. Ang ganda kase ng design Magaang naman, will not add too much baggage weight.

P.S.-- sabi ng SIL ko, mas mabilis daw mag apply sa French embassy? kasi sa Italian embassy daw, tinatranslate pa nila? how true??

If you will apply directly at the italian embassy, oct 21 ang earliest available schedule. When i applied for my visa last year i dont remember having to translate any of my documents to Italian. Pero medyo hindi sila efficient talaga kasi they gave my visa a few days before departure lang. Mga 1 month din sa kanila yung papers ko. Tapos they asked for my documents i already submitted.  Kaya hindi na ako uulit,sabi ko sa sarili ko I'll just tweak my itinerary to make France my major destination.

Sis try mo sa VIA where you just have to call and they will pick up your documents. Usually mas matagal ito than directly sa Italian embassy pero malay mo lang.

tumawag nako sa VIA. as long as complete docs mo, pwede ka na magpa schedule kinabukasan.

5-10working days daw labas ng visa. pwede daw mas matagal pa. so i guess talagang habol ako sa oras kung sept28/ 29th ang departure. try ko nalang rin pero ayoko na umasa.

Hi mga sissies, question lang regarding the Vatican museum /Sistine chapel tour...if I'm going to book thru the official Vatican museum website, will my Philippine issued cc be accepted?   Tried booking kasi the every time  nasa payment page na ako and I hit the confirm payment button, nawawala or nag error ang page? Tried checking sa cc ko online kung may pumasok, wala naman.....pls advise...TIA

Hi Ladies,

Naggagawa ako itinerary namin to Italy on May.

We arrive 7am on our Day 1 and around 10 am dating sa accommodation.  We can leave daw our bags sabi dun sa guesthouse na pagstayan namin.  Plan ko to visit the following sa Day 1 pagka-iwan ng gamit:

1. Roman Forum (Foro Romano)
2. Palatine Hill (Palatino)
3. Colosseum
4. Piazza Venezia
5. Capitoline Hill Museums
6. Piazza Campidoglio

Yung accommodation namin, walking distance from Colosseum.  Sa tingin nyo kaya yan in 1 day?

Worth it ba puntahan ito?

how long is the train from milan to florence?

^ Milan to Florence is about 2hrs by fast train. Milan to Como is about an hour naman sa other direction. So medyo malayo din. You may check trenitalia website for the train schedule, para pwede nyo mapili yung fast train.

Yup, Florence is a good jump-off point going to The Mall, Pisa, Siena, etc.

I started my 10days itinerary namin sa Italy pero sa september pa travel namin. una namin choice talaga turkey pero dahil naging tradition namin pumunta sa expo nagdecide kami puntahan milan expo.

4days florence,pisa,siena
2days rome
2days venice
3days milan

Hintay namin mabigyan kami visa bago kami magbook ticket. Balak namin mag rent car sa florence para makapunta kami sa pisa,chianti at siena. backread muna ako :-)

^Sis ang iksi ng florence nyo! hehe! yun lang nanotice ko.  For me, among all the cities in Italy, florence ang pinakamaganda hehe so dapat 2-3 days kayo na florence lang.  Milan, two days enough na :-)  Just my unsolicited POV sis :-)
