Hi there! I'm not sure if I should be asking on this thread, but what are some of the must-buys in Italy? For pasalubong sana coz one of my friends is going there and she's asking me what I want her to get me but I have no idea! Perhaps perfume or makeup? Thank you in advance!

if ok lang na mejo mahal..yes ask your friend to buy you signature clothes from Italy or perfume, daming mura naman pero syempre pricey parin kahit bilhin niya sa factory outlet ng Milan. Pero ako Im planning to buy religious items in Rome like rosary etc, tapos Venice mask from Venetia of course. And of course and walang kamatayan "I LOVE ROmE" T-shirt. Yan ang mga hahanapin ko na pasalubong.

Hala mga makeup lang sana at skincare products balak kong ipabili, walang signature bags/clothes kasi deads naman friend ko nun. Haha!

Madami nyan sis, nakapalibot sa streets going to Vatican.  Pagdating mo dun wag ka na lang mag convert if you really wanna buy mga souvenirs otherwise wala ka mauuwi lol

Sis, ang pinakamurang i love rome shirt is 5 euros at kahit saan makikita mo sila! Sa labas ng colosseo medyo mahal ata. Pero pag ibigay sayo ng 5, kunin mo na.

Ay sayang bawal pala mag post ng blog dito! Haha sayang effort... Di ko alam san ilalagay! Anyway, recap na lang yung wala dun sa unang post ko, basta yung mga pagkain, try niyo kumain sa Eataly! Heaven sa sarap! Sa Florence malapit sa Uffizi may sikat na sandwich shop dun, All Antico Vinaio ata ang pangalan, wag niyong maliitin, super sarap! Mura pa 5 euros lang ang dambuhalang sandwich!

Rome was our last stop when we went to Europe last August. Either Euros ibabalik sa'yo or USD.

To those who've traveled from Rome to Florence (and back), would you recommend booking/buying train tickets well in advance, say a month before the trip? Or is it okay to just go buy train tickets a day before or on the morning of the trip itself? Are the regional trains comfortable enough or would it be better to ride on the frecciarosa or frecciargento (they run faster but do cost more)?

^Actually okay lang kahit morning of the trip itself sa mismong train station, but to be sure lang na hindi ka ma-hassle, book it at least a day before.  If I were you mag high speed trains ka na lang to save time, dahil regular trains ay napakabagal.

If u can follow a sched, i suggest booking online in advance kasi may discounted rates, at mga highspeed trains pa yun! Trenitalia website napakadali! Or italo ata yung bago...

Regional trains have more scenic routes- vineyard, hills, lakes and all kasi sa countryside but 3hours or so and madaming stops. High speed trains cut the travel time to half, with modern seats and decent toilets. If you book early you can avail of supereconomy rate of 9EU with trenitalia. yun lang if you miss the train, it's non refundable and you cant use your ticket for the next one.

i would suggest buying your tickets at least 60 days in advance. i managed to save more than 40% in all of my train travels just buy always buying and paying for the long distance train through cc at the trenitalia website

April 06 to April 11 ang schedule ko for Italy. I'm planning to fly via EasyJet from Paris to Rome. If makakastay ako sa house ng friend ko sa Rome, I might extend my stay up to April 13 or 14. I'm planning to include trips to Firenze, Napoli, and Osimo in my Italy itinerary. Binabasa ko na rin blog mo sis hehe
