i never even thought of going shopping in italy.
can i get a rebate if ever i plan on spending just 1-2 items only worth around 200 euros?

^yes, if total purchase for 1 day in 1 store is 165euros, you can ask for a vat refund form

i love italy! venice is best in the early evening when all the day trippers left already. it transforms to a serene old village. it is great to be lost in those small eskinitas. expensive food though.

ang charge ba sa gondola per person or per gondola?

^Per gondola sis. Around 80 to 100 euros and charge per gondola when I was there. Di ko naman feel nun makipag-gondola with strangers to split the costs.

twas raining when we were in venice. so we decided not to do the gondola. we instead took the limo speed boat to the airport... and twas a great experience. i felt like i was james bond. darn.

Hi sisses,
anyone here who tried bringing home food items like cheese and coffee? I'm concerned kasi baka masira yung cheese kasi around 21 hours yung Italy-Manila flight ko. Thanks in advance.

Wala naman problem ang coffee, put it on your check-in baggage and regarding sa cheese, mozarella ba? Hirap kasi pag mozarella but I haven't tried bringing home pa so not sure kung ma-spoil siya.

^Hi Sis, nag uwi din ako cheese when I was in Rome - then nag punta pa ako ng Venice ng 2 days at milan ng 2 days plus Dubai Overnight stop over. Hindi nasira yung cheese. Nasa maleta lang sya. Naka wrap lang sa Foil. Malamig kasi panahon kaya siguro hindi nasira.

sobrang na inlove ako with Venice!!! its so romantic here. mga sis, you should ride the gondola.kahit mahal pa siya. nandito na rin naman kayo. sobrang relaxing. parang dinuduyan ka with matching clear blue skies. iba siya sa water taxi or bus. haaay!

2 or 3 full days sa tingin ko pwede na. mas enjoy ako dito kesa Paris. relax lang dito at konting lakad lang pasyalan na. ang gaganda pa ng makikita mo. iba siya!

Agree agree agree! I also fell in love with Venice! The city is very charming. Got lost all the time while eating gelato. I took pictures is every angle. The city is even more charming at night (safe naman) and at dawn.

Spent two nights there, pero I wasn't able to do the other islands (Murano, Burano) because I was perfectly content dun sa main island. Next time, I'll explore the outer islands naman.
