Hi! we are looking for a private pool for overnight rent anywhere near manila (rizal, cavite or laguna). we are eyeing the pools in laguna para sa hotspring kaso nasa 10k ang 12hrs stay. wala bang lower dun? kahit 8k. baka kasi 8 lang kami. hihi. thanks!

In my experience, masmadaming jellyfish in Nasugbu than in Laiya. But that's a few years back pa. Heard from a friend na ma-jellyfish din ang pico de loro. Any feedback?

Hubby and I are planning to have a road trip to Isdaan Floating Restaurant - Calauan, Laguna, I just do not know if it is worth it pag punta namin sa place, checked some blogs parang ok naman for the kids to see the characters and budha and all. May nakapunta na ba dito mga sis? Thanks in advance.

I like weekend getaways with lots of activities and here are some that I've tried and will try soon with the bf..

-Sandbox in Porac, Pampanga, it's like a playground for adults. Friday kami nagpunta kasi it can get crowded kapag weekends and may quota per attraction but if you come here early you might be able to avoid the crowd. Yun lang, after wala na kami magawa kasi konti pa lang attractions pero sabi ng mga handlers dun we should try Poracay resort (yes, named after Boracay ) siguro next time. Mostly the attractions are meant for adults and not small kids.

-Baguio, Banaue, Sagada tour- just did this nung last long weekend. If you're up for trekking and caving and lots of terrain, okay to. Though hindi kami nakapag cave connection siguro next time. This took 3 nights 2 days. Though i think kaya to if you leave by Friday night tapos hindi na magsisidetrip sa Banaue.

-seven lakes of San Pablo, Laguna- Did this two years ago, dalawa lang kami ng officemate ko, mpnangapa ng directions lol. Contact Aling Sioni if you want to have lunch while riding the balsa. I enjoyed this hut thought it was bitin kasi wala kami other activities planned. Nagpunta kami Nagcarlan for the underground cemetery pero that was it. I'm not sure kung saan pero meron din white water rafting sa Laguna na dapat ittry namin pero minimum of 6 ata or 5 kailangan.

-Caleruega in Nasugbu, Batangas- naglakas loob ako to go here on my own and slept here for a few days when I fell into deep depression. It's very relaxing and you'll be one with God and nature. This place promotes spiritual healing.

-Mt. Pinatubo Day trek- to be done sa June, I suggest DIY and marami kayo para mas mura.

-Luljetta's hanging Gardens- this is within the vicinity of Loreland resort in Antipolo if you're familiar. It has good reviews but I have yet to try it. Pwede overnight pero dun sa Loreland resort. Pwede na rin siguro sumidetrip sa Pinto art museum for some culture.

-Mt. Pulag- have yet to try this hiking activity to see the sea of clouds

-Flowboard Manila- new water sport in Bacoor. Going to try this too.

My other friends find my suggested weekend getaways/activities a bit extreme lol. So ayun, kung sporty and adventurous kayo, some of these are a must try.cpost ko other places na napuntahan ko suring weekends.

ok naman sya sis. it's actually a short drive. wag lang talagang abutan kayo ng traffic sa calamba and los banos. nung nagpunta kami, madami din sila activities like boating and face painting. ewan ko lang ngayon kung meron pa rin. buti nga ngayon meron na silang service water. dati kasi wala. hehe

matagal ko na natry ito. ok naman pero nakakapagod lalo if you are considering yung parang group tour na dun ka bibili ng tickets sa may ccp office. sobrang limited ang oras magpapicture haha.. don't forget to bring your cap/hat. medyo mainit dun e.

4. moa - ride all you can (pag sawa na sa EK - which is short tripping lang, with family or yayas and kasambahay). mabait ako sa katulong eh saka masarap mamuhay simple at maging mapag-pakumbaba. pramise, you won't regret it.
5. EK - not bad na rin, pero masyadong maraming tao...
6. oceanpark - pwede na rin, one time lang masarap gawin.
7. skyranch - okay naman. kain na rin sa tagaytay... pero di masarap na madalas, one time lang rin.
8. ace water spa - try this every 2 to 3 months. massage na, enjoy pa saka maganda yan sa nerves and keeps you healthy. decente pa
9. punta sa rare places.
a. tutuban - regardless if you have the breads, just camouflage, enjoy yan pag kaya mo. pramise. see, the inner transactions in manila. saan nakukuha ang mga goods, ang fakes. masarap kasama ang hubby sa ganyan.
b. raon - delicado pero same with a.
c. walk around binondo - astig. kain kain sa hidden chinese resto and delicacies
d. same goes with baclaran, cubao places.

Any suggestions near Muntinlupa? I want a place na cool, peaceful, quiet. Yung matutulog, magbabasa, at tulala lang. Tagaytay parang magulo din.

Sis  jamie_0117, try Nuvali medyo malapit lang siya sa Muntinlupa, picnic at playing balls, at feeding of fish, biking mga pwede activities dun..

^if you're willing to go medyo East part, try Daranak Falls sa Taytay, super sulit ang pagpunta! Pwede kayo magpicnic dun plus talagang malamig!!!!  :-)
