Hi mgs sis, I'm pcos both ovaries, 2 yrs na married, badly want to have kids, nagpaworkup na din kami but we decided na stop muna kasi grabe na gasots, more than 100k na bec of injectable meds. Yesterday, I saw sa deal grocer unlimited 1 month visit sa fitness first, I decided that I should really work out seriously, lately kasi walking and jogging lang sa village which I find boring kasi I'm really an active person before I got married. Super homebody kasi si husband. Before 120lbs lang ako now 160lbs na, height is 5'5. My OB told me that loosing weight nga daw would make a huge difference. Kaya natin to mga sisters 10% weight loss lang.

Hi mga sis pasali, I was diagnosed PCOS on both ovaries last 2003. My weight was between 180 to 160lbs and my OB advised me to lose weight. I had a lifestyle change just last year around July when I started working out 3x a week and changed my eating habit, now I am 120lbs and with my last ultrasound, I dont have PCOS anymore. I believe the weight gain was really a factor so I am doing my very best to continue eating well and working out 5x a week.

Hi mga sis, tama mga ob natin, losing weight and having a healthy lifestyle is the key to regaining our fertility back.

:'( so back to work up kami ni OB. UTZ, breast UTZ, T3, T4 & TSH. Haay parang back to start kami ni OB and I'm back on working out muay thai and boxing 3x a day. Hoping for a baby this year. :'(

Hi Sis ayee, Happy New year :) and keep smiling, alam mo God never fails, baka you need some rest and medyo i lift off lang yung pressure na nafifeel mo, you will have your own precious little one, I assure you that, many sis here are getting preggo kahit na may pcos, just stick to your doctor's prescription, or kung may doubts ka or ayaw mo na nang sobrang tests, you can find another doctor for second opinion...

Hi sis mariadj, I was thinking of looking for a new OB kaso natatakot ako kasi baka hindi ako mahiyang sa kanya eh dito sa OB ko ngayon, ok na kami.

pcos and overweight.  number 1 advise ni OB sa akin is to lose weight.  since challenging ang pag exercise sa schedule ko sinimulan ko muna sa food in-take, more on fruits and veggies dapat, steamed or baked food no to fast food at oily foods muna.  hay madyo mahaba habang proseso to pero pasasaan ba at ma-achieve din natin ang ideal weight at magkaka baby na! ;)

me and my husband are trying to conceive also for a year now. I have new o.b now and we had several test with regards of the hormones, cholesterol, sugar level, fallopian tube checking, pap smear and cbc count to check if i am anemic it is really too much expenses for those test excluding my monthly check-up. Too cut the long story short I have PCOS about 3 polyps with the size of more than 1cm..... Problem with pcos is i am not ovulating so she gave me clomid 2x for 5 days 50mg and now i am ovulating, today he injected a medicine called pregnyl so that my follicle will collapsed and contact schedule will be everyday so sadly she said that having a size of 1cm polyps will be difficult to conceive so she said to remove my pcos so the chance of pregnancy will be 25% higher. what medicine did you take to reduce pcos? because my ob gyne never told me that. if your polyps is less than 1 cm it will be no problem

Hi mga sis. 2010 was when I was diagnosed with PCOS. Pero since gf-bf pa lang kami ni hubby by that time, hindi pa ko nag-worry. November last year when we got married kaya nagconsult ako sa OB ulit before nun. :(

Baby dusts to us!

Polyps yata nga term dun. I have 12 follies on my right, tapos 12-15 follies on my left ovary. Clomid pa lang naman pina-take sakin ni Doc, saka Duphaston this cycle para ma-force si AF na dumating. Saka pinapapayat ako ni Doc. Lol

I am on the same boat sissies. Nung nasa pinas pa kami, nagstart ako i-workout ng OB ko, she gave me meds like metformin for 15 days, 2x a day yun, kasabay ng yasmin pills to regulate mens daw. wala akong polyps but my androgen level is need to be lowered daw, me Ultrasoun and other tests din. she also asked me to reduce weight. naregulate mens ko but then nung nagmove kami sa Kuwait natigil yung check up ko. It's so hard humanap ng Filipina na OB. It's hard to explain sa mga Indians or other nationalities. :(

have faith mga sis... if things don't workout your way always keep in mind that everything will happen in God's time.

i conceived on the 3rd year of our marriage. but before that, my husband and i both experienced anxiety and uneasiness everytime we were asked "wala pa ba" etc.. we underwent workups but on the 3rd year dun ko talaga sineryoso.  i have PCOS both ovaries and had endometriotic cyst.  i have 2 doctors who co-manage my case. an OB who specializes on infertility and the other doctor is an endocrinologist.   i just realized na sayang kasi all the money for medications, checkups, tests, and other related procedures kung i do not really follow the doctors' advice. i started to exercise regularly by going to the gym twice or thrice a week, eat the "right" food and avoid softdrinks because my doctor said that im in the borderline of becoming a diabetic. my monthly checkups although shows no sign of anything extraordinary but the good thing is i gradually got my weight right (i was overweight before) and my lab results like cholesterol and all were on the right level na. then i started to feel good about myself and so i learn to really take care of my body. and just after 3 months i got pregnant and my endometriotic cyst was gone no need for surgery na. and it made as even happier when on the 8th week the single embryo (can't remember if its the correct term) has split into 2. God's miracle... hehe...
So at present my twin girls just turned 2 years old. Mahirap mag alaga ng mga iyaking babies lalo nung first 2 months nila when all they do is cry when they are awake. pero its ok because i would'nt want it any other way...
just keep the faith. everything will happen in the right time... in God's time...

Hello mga sisses!

Tulad niyo pcos dn ako, more than 12 follicles both left and right ovaries ko.
Kaya eto hirap mbuntis.

Kuwait din kasi ako and like you may PCOS din ako. Matagal bago ako nagka-baby pero nabuo sya naturally pero pinagamit ako noon ng clomid but it didn't works for me.

Hello po. Ask ko lang po if meron  ba dito sa mga sisses natin na nagkakarun ng midcycle bleeding? ako because CD12 pa lang nagbleed na parang  mens na agad...6 mos ako naka dianne 35 tapos stop ko this cycle pero yun nga CD12 pala nag bleed na ako..sabagay PCOS nga siguro kase..pero may paraan ba to correct it na di na ako mag BCP?

I was diagnosed PCOS when I was 24. I am now 38y/o. Hubby is 39.
From 2003-2012, on-off check-up with several doctors. To no avail.
Last year, we have decided to stop treatment & continue on with our lives..but not until
last tuesday, a 7mos unborn baby, is knocking our hearts...the mother would like to give away
her baby for us.. I asked my hubby if he wants, but he cant decide..50/50..I told my friend who
know the mother that we are still undecided..and would want another chance...one more try..to conceive on our own child.

Ive been on BCP from July 2013 to December 2013. I stop taking it this January...but on my CD12, I had a mid-cycle bleeding and until today my CD13, the flow is heavy..I know its because of my PCOS but I'm so worried...Before the bleeding CD11, I started taking Procreation, GLutha and Maca Powder..and hoping that things will be ok and that my hormones is just adjusting because of discontinued BCP.

I am also saving for possible IVF by 2015. Im afraid of consulting to another oB-Gyne, kasi feeling ko Metformin, BCP na naman ang reseta nya, nakakapagod na, di nahihinog follicles ko sa Clomiphene naka 3 round ako last 2012..nung Gonal-F  na suggest nya which cost 90K for 2 weeks shot..nag stop na ako to see her..sobra kc mahal..bukod sa wala akong hawak na ganuong pera that time..saka naisip ko di pa din sure yun, iipunin ko na lang pera ko for a bigger IVF option..

Alam ko mali mga decisions namin in the past, the procrastination and not saving money and all. pero sana di pa huli lahat sa amin..sana makayanan namin to...I just woke up one day that I am 38 y/o. I dont know if I still have good eggs  :-[
