familiar ba kayo sa mga markets sa ongpin? please share naman magagandang ingredients and where to find them

my latest find is sembal terasi masarap siya sawsawan. suprisingly its available in the rob suparmarket

You can find a lot in Metro Grocery in Market Market. There's also a spice and tea shop at the ground floor near Lord Stowe's.

Near Starbucks Magallanes there's an Indian store. Affordable prices, madaming variety.

what spices do you usually buy dun? I discovered yun cityland sa vcruz they have good chapati breads... yun biryani rice nila Php 100 per pack.. tapos parang Php150 yun yellow powder to make the biryani rice...

i think i biryani rice more than the jasmine rice.. super long grain talaga

The Indian Spice Stores (simron's) along UN Ave. in Manila are super affordable too. ;-)

Bok choy is a leafy veggie. Parang pechay siya.

Star anise is a dried flower or plant. Usually found sa spices area ng supermarkets. Katabi ng mga whole pepper, rosemary, thyme... Etc.

madaming Indian spices in UN like Azzad. They also sell Indian sweets per kilo. I love their Samosas, 15 lang each. Unlike sa Salcedo Market na 30 pesos each.

^ Sis, maraming fresh parsley sa groceries like Rustan's and Landmark.  Check mo lang sa malapit sa salad section.  Gourmet Farms, Salad Time and Zacky's ang nabibili ko.

Saan merong fresh rosemary? None in Rustan's and Landmark supermarkets.

@DV - tyempuhan din lang kasi ang dating ng rosemary sa mga grocery. magtingin ka na din sa SM makati. if wala doon, baka type mo bumili ng small plant na mismo (nasa labas lang ng grocery). tanda ko nasa 50 lang yun.

saan banda sa supermarket ng market market mga spice nila? Medyo di kasi complete or baka wala lang talaga yung mga hinahanap ko. Isa pa, medyo magulo divisions nila eh. Hehe

^true. nakakahilo noh? but if you're coming from serendra mas madali mo sya makita kasi pagtawid mo sa kabila marketmarket na u'll see yung rows ng resto sa labas. alanganin kasi location ng stall nya sana inilagay sya tabi ng organic goods or maski sa fruits stalls man lang.
