Are you happy with your salary?

Hindi ako happy sa increase ng salary ko! I was promoted pero yung nakuha ko na increase hindi man lang umabot sa standard rate ng newly promoted sa current level ko... Don't know what to feel... Sa dami ng expectations na set ng boss namin I think unfair yung increase hindi ng cocompensate sa efforts na hinihingi niya sa akin... I'm thinking of finding for a new job! You think mga sis tama ang iniisip ko? TIA

If you think that you are not valued by your company then you should seek greener pastures.  But before you do make sure you alread have one foot on the door.  Salary increase from promotions are low compared to moving to a new company unless you are being made partner/stockholder.  And if you are being pirated/poached by another company expect an even bigger increase from your current one.  If not then you should demand it.

My salary is $ based, therefore habang lumalakas ang piso, ironically hinde ako sumasaya because it affects my salary. Mine is alright naman, but I'm hoping for an increase, like all of us here hope for.

ok nman happy since di nman malaki yung tax na kinukuha at nababyaran ang sss philhealth at tax ko madami paring extra plus every year may increase...

ay mga sis be happy with your salary kasi ako i am earning 8000 per month no benefits hehe pero i chose this kaya wala ko magagwa . im staying kasi dito sa province sa batangas ang kaibahan lang walang rent ang gastos lang yung pagkain at saka mga ibang necessities.

yup. when i was still earning 120kphp/mon (equivalent) last 2008-2010.
now aiming for max.180kphp/mon.,, pamahal ng pamahal na mga bilihin ngayon.

It's hard to say "happy" or "satisfied" eh, but based on the industry average and from what I believe my value to the company is, I'd say my salary is reasonable. Syempre, I'd like more. So raket to the max ako.

Same situation here.. happy nako sa sahod ko pere dahil ang laki kumabig ng tax ayun.. hindi ko din naeenjoy.. hayss...buti sana kung may nakikita kang pinagdadalhan ng gobyerno natin...[textspeak!] naman..tsk tsk
