Jen, na-engganyo naman ako sa sinabi mo.  May legal work talaga?  How do I sign up?  Can I browse muna the available jobs before I commit?

Nakakatuwa ha.  Parang gusto ko subukan part-time muna.  As if I have a lot of time.

Kristine, payong kaibigan ko to you.  Kapag malaki-laki na ang baby mo, why don't you go back to school or get training in something that would interest you and at the same time help you earn money?  It could be cooking, baking, makeup, legal or medical transcription, etc.  Puwedeng home-based ka sa mga ganyan. ;D

Sayang kasi if you do not cultivate your talents and turn your free time into something that can be productive/income-generating for you and your family.

Marose, thanks sis sa payo :) yan din naman ang gusto ko, sabayan ko si baby magschool. lol. but really, plan ko talaga ituloy yung school ko. 1 sem nalang sana, thesis and few more major subjects ang naiwan. pero kung babalikan ko, it will take 2-3 semesters pa ulit. pero pwede na, basta matapos lang. sana talaga. yan ang goal ko bago man lang ako mag 30, eh matapos ko na yung course ko.

^ Sis, it is never too late to go back to school.  Ako, mahilig mag-aral hahaha.  Obvious ba?   ;D

Check out mo rin ang UP Open University.  Distance learning iyan.

about savings, basta ako humahawak lahat.

sis jen, meron ba for accounting? pano yung hiring? pano mag apply? :)

Bayaan mo, kapag nakakita ako ulit, ino-note ko na for you. ;)

Thanks for your insights ladies. I appreciate naman my mom's help as in, sobra na nga eh. I would expect that from in-laws pa siguro but not from my mom. Hayyy...

^ Pia, ang laki nga!  Go!

Van, nagka-mommy issues din ako when I was about to get married.  And though I love my mom to death, we still don't see eye to eye on certain things.  But since she lives in our house and dotes on my kids, I appreciate her more now.  Siguro, let go na lang. Let bygones be bygones para wala kayong tension. :)

Regarding ODesk, I know some people who are into that and ok naman daw.

thank you everyone for your inputs! i opened an itf time deposit account in rcbc na. initial deposit is php 5k then maturity is 30 days. yun lang kinuha ko para in case, pwede ako magdeposit every 30 days kung may magbigay ng cash gift kay baby giant. well, that account is for all of her cash gifts lang naman. gusto ko ipunin for her para pag mejo may isip na siya, she'll know the value of saving. tapos, in case may gusto siya bilhin, dun kukunin yung pambili para kahit papano masabi niya namang naramdaman niya yung gifts niya.

i plan to get a separate insurance naman for her eh. that's where i plan to set aside a part of my salary as a form of investment for her. as i was opening an account sa rcbc kanina, i was presented an option by someone from sun-grepalife. parang Php 40,000 per year stretched to 7 years or pwede din naman Php 25,000 for 10 years. good thing about it is may makukuha ka na amount after five years then every three years thereafter. i am yet to discuss this with ej later.

regarding income and finances, we're like sis pia, kanya kanya! except for expenses and money related concerns kay baby. but otherwise, we manage our own money. we are each other's banks lang pag na-short and we need to loan or be covered up.

regarding in-laws, wala din ako problema jan. mas may problema pa ko kay ej himself than his parents! haha they treat me like their own. :)

sis jen, mukhang okay yang odesk ha. in line pa with my work coz i'm a headhunter. pero hindi muna now... i'm still at the peak of my career. hehe recently promoted kaya lucky charm talaga si baby sakin.

pia, van, tin, nagpabili din ako sa friend ko ng mustela who just went back from a trip in SG! :) kakakuha ko lang sa kanya ng hair and body wash tsaka baby shampoo. i'm excited to use it. ay, i'm excited to have ej use it on katie pala since siya pa ang in charge kay baby ngayon. hehe

Magbabasa basa muna ako about oDesk.. pag aralan ko muna how it works and how will I work for them.. Baka mamaya ma-hire ako and hindi ko mameet expectations nila or vice versa. But for sure I will apply tonight and will give you all a feedback.

Wala ako paypal. Isa pa pala ito. And need pala bank account sa pinas. I'll ask if pwedeng SG account na lang.

Then next solve mo issue with your mom. Hindi naman masama na sumama ang loob. We'll just hope magkaron na ng solution yan soon para less stress sayo.

Goodluck sis Grayce.
