Sis engroselle, what will you franchise, if you don't mind? Medyo careful ka lang din sa location. Make sure you do feasibility study yourself. May mga nabasa kasi ako na franchisor pa mismo nagreco ng location pero mahina pa rin.

it's a mr donut franchise. 155k++ [textspeak!] basic cart, nasa website nila yun.
yung proposed area namin is sa loob ng supermkt.

What do you guys think of a Nails Salon/Spa franchise? I've looked at popular franchises and most of them will need at least 2 Million pesos of capital. But if it's worth the investment, I can persuade my sister and my aunt to invest as well. The franchises I'm looking at are Posh Nails and Nailaholics. Or should I go for the lesser known franchises (lesser franchise fees, capital needed, etc.)? Does the "brand name" in the nail salon category really matter? I live outside Metro Manila so Pampanga, Tarlac and even Olongapo is convenient for me.

Maybe you guys have any recommendations of other franchises in the beauty/grooming category? Actually, even something from the food industry will interest me as well.

we're scheduled for an initial interview this week. no specific date yet. ayusin pa kasi ni hubby yung sched nya sa office.

question re sa pasahod:

P255/8 hrs ang mandated sa area namin, ok lang ba to give P200/6 hrs tapos may incentive na lang pag naka-overtarget sila? any idea how much ibibigay ko? 

there will be 2 of them, so paano ang hatian nila? 9am-3pm & 3pm-9pm sila. hati sila sa incentive? or hiwalay dapat? kasi worry ko lang kasi yung peak hours... pero tingin ko naman, hati sila sa peak hours. yung isa lunch-merienda, yung isa off ng office hours-closing... nakakalito. hehe

need advise po on this...

Ok kaya magfranchise ng massage parlor? Hindi pa naman ako nagsesearch pero ito yung next option ko kung hindi pagkain ang ipafranchise ko. any idea din sa belgian waffle franchise?

@mamy_maldy - nyek eh yung generics pharmacy dito sa lugar namin wala pang 1km ang pagitan at tatlong branch ang meron dito sa amin.

Sis chinyxs4, sa Taytay ka nakatira? Yes, nakita namin lahat ng TGP jan, dikit dikit nga, but I guess TGP  wouldnt grant us the franchise if it would not be feasible. Kasabay sa Taytay, inapply din namin yung location sa Mandaluyong, pero denied, eto sa Taytay ang na approve.

Medyo madami na nga rin akong nakikitang mahihinang tgp..
Sa sweldo naman ng tauhan pwede naman 200 per day na lalo na wala naman luto luto. Un iba nga 150 per day. Whole day na yun

we were advised to make it a 9am - 9pm shift, P300/day, alternate days ang pasok... that way, mas economical sa staff. every other day lang ang expenses nya sa pamasahe at food.
makes sense.

this coming thursday ang final interview namin ni hubby. panel. hopefully makapasa kami.

target namin mahabol ang xmas season. malaking tulong yun sa ROI.

Sis engroselle, we started with 2 staff as well pero may overlap sila sa shift. Then, after 2 months, 1 na lang na permanent and a reliever. Mas tipid for us and ok din sa staff kasi tinaasan namin per day nya.  Kami 300/day pasweldo namin. Parang 350 yata minimum sa taytay naman. Mas mababa pala sa antipolo no?

sis, paano yung set up pag reliever lang?... when rest day ng regular employee?...

dito ko kasi binase yung rates. updated kasi as of oct 2014 ito...
tingin ka dun sa column ng less than 10 employees...

Tnx for that, sis. Clarify ko rin nga sa acct namin. Baka alam nya. 300 din kasi pasweldo ng Mga katabi namin so we patterned it after them. Pag mas mababa kasi than others, mabilis mapirate e.

Re reliever, Sa amin kasi, yung ibang establishments near us, 4 days and 3 days yung staff nila Pumapasok so yung Mga ganun na staff, they look for addtl source of income kaya ok sa kanila magrelieve sa iba. Mas nakakasave kami.

Mine naman is a health and beauty franchise. Whats nice is the system and the trainings. Halos every month may training na binibigay.  I got my ROI back in less than half a year. Sulit.

galing nako DTI kanina. may trade name na kami.

nung apply ako for brgy., di ako binigyan. sayang lang daw kasi. January magbabayad na naman ako.
so, wala ko brgy, mayor's permit at BIR... January ko pa maaasikaso. na-inform ko na franchisor ko, di ko pa alam if may complications ba yun. wait ko pa reply...

sabi sa brgy, pwede na raw ako mag-operate. usually daw kasi, Feb or March nag-i-inspect. start kasi ng fiscal year.
