^why sis? gusto ko talagang magfranchise! me nakatry na ba dito sa filtrepreneur? kase parang me mga negative feedbacks sa service nila eh.

Hi! kung negative feedback lang naman about Filtrep, I have a lot to say. I purchased their distributor's package last year, it was around April 2010. I paid 250k for the distributor's package while I was still in London at that time, then we went home by September to start the business by being a Filtrep Distributor in Fairview Area kahit we were living in Cavite kasi based from Manjit Raj, the Franchise Consultant who sold me the idea, yung Fairview area daw ang pinakamaganda hawakan for distributorship kasi marami ng franchisee at malaki ang potential market. From the space rent and all other materials needed for the business operation, I shelled out almost 200k for other expenses. 

And you know what, we only lasted for about 2 months in operation. We did not get any support from the company, wala ring follow up even 1 year na kami non operational as Distributor and the consultant, he is making money doing the networking thing with Filtrep. Dun sila magaling pero after service nila,after mong maglabas ng malaking pera, they just vanish like bubbles in the air. They are still working for Filtrep, earning big bucks pero yung mga nag franchise sa kanila, pansinin mo kung nasaan na.

Do a lot of research, check mo kung may makita kang Filtrep food cart, ask them if they are earning or if they even got their ROI from their investment.You'll learn from them.

any feedback about gyob naman?  they have a new product kasi - pinoy blizzard and i'm interested kaya lang gusto ko muna ng feedback talaga kasi i've been reading horror stories about the after sales service of companies involved with this kind of biz.  tapos may nag-feedback pa sa kin na 1 out of 5 na foodcart franchisees nagsasara agad.  scary.

funky f....... i almost franchised from gyob two months ago.. i paid 50k na so they could start helping me looking for a location, then last month, they called me that they have a new policy na raw and instead of franchising eh distributorship na rw cla, meaning you cant use their trade name na.. you will use na lang your own trade name and they will supply the items that you sell.. sabi ko the reason why i wanted to franchise eh because of the trade name.. para [textspeak!] pa na nag franchise ka kung hindi rin kilala ang store mo, sabi ng contact ko, they understand naman kasi kahit clang employees hndi sang ayon sa decision ng management.. its just that sobrang dami nla na approve for franchise to the point na hindi na raw nila ma monitor.. so they offered me a refund, and mabilis ko rin naman nakuha [textspeak!] refund ko.. sayang nga lang kc natulog sakanila [textspeak!] 50k ko for almost 2 months..Thank God nalang wala pa akong nahanap na location kung hindi naipit ako sa rental advance and deposits..

piece of advice always review yung contract, piliin rin yung company mas maganda kung talagang established na, at yung iaasisst ka nila sa paghahanap ng location dapat ikaw din alam mo na kung saan pwede. Hindi porket maraming dumadaan na tao mabenta na sa lugar na iyon tsaka always research hindi rin para sa lahat ang franchised, so think 10x

Sorry ha but it's a wrong way to choose the right business for you. You shouldn't base it primarily on whether you like their products or services.

My advice sa mga mag franchise, make sure that the franchisor have a solid track record of helping their franchisee to succeed. Choose a company that will help you market your business.

Remember this...madaling gumawa ng product at mag create ng system. Ang mahirap e ang market at magbenta.

I have a feeling that this franchising thing is being abused by many companies to take advantage of our kababayan particularly the OFWs. Kawawa naman.

Thanks escapee. Kanina nag product orientation kami ng isang tea house. 350,000 franchise. They'll help you regarding letter of intent and stuff. They said pag may na eye kami na area they will send letter of intent. Talagang aralin muna. Kasi nag compute ako mga after 2 years pa mababawi puhunan mo na dapat siguro lang ah maka 180-200 cups a day ka para maka bawi ka. Pero ang kagandahan dun wala na daw loyalty at 15% na lang pay mo if you want to continue the franchising. And yun nakausap ko hindi sila mag aapprove ng area not until they check na ok yun area and may food traffic daw meaning yun laging nadadaanan ganyan.Pero all in all siguro makaka 600,000 ka din all in.

I'm eyeing for sm manila, galleria and greenhills pero goodluck sa greenhills kung makakuha ka pwesto.

And may nakilala ako meron siyang 5 franchise ng potato corner. She said you'll never go with sm daw. Yung bibingkinitan 950,000 ang franchise.

Ano pa ba kailangan ko tanungin sa management if mag ffranchise ako? At ano ang magandang iassure nila sa client nila?

As we all know, pag franchiser ang kausap mo they're biased. They'll say it's the best business opportunity.

Here's what you need to do...this will save you lots of money and frustration.

Get the name and tel. no of their 10 franchisee who's operating at least for a year.

Call the owner one by one, let them know you plan to franchise and ask them three questions...

1. Knowing what they know now will they still invest in this franchise if they can turn back the time?
2. Is it worth the investment?
3. Did the franchiser help them to succeed?

how about Ferinos or Bibingkinitan?  Any experience?  Bibingkinitan is more expensive (a lot more expensive, actually)...parang ok kasi bibingka - no seasonality, stood by the test of time (hindi sya fad), pampasalubong, etc.

i've been thiniking of frachising a food cart, kaya lang sa mga naririnig ko at naoobserve ko, parang im having second thoughts. i also have read about filtrepreneur, medyo off lang sakin yung network marketing system nila.  the networkers might tend to be very biased para lang makakuha ng clients para kumita sila.  ayoko yung kumikita dahil may na recruit, dito ako madala maka encounter ng networker na over eager to recruit. if i will get a franchise, siguro not from filtrepreneur.

Oo sis, mas focus talaga ang Filtrepreneur sa networking.when it comes to their food cart business, wala man lang support.after nila makuha yung business mo, bahala ka na sa buhay mo kasi kumita na sila ng commission lalo na may points yun sa networking nila.

hi sis, create your own na lang. sa province namin, uso ang lugaw 24 hrs eat all you can. as in patok kahit ilan sila na may ganun na business. kelangan din kasi sa ganyan business medyo malaki ang space eh. so kung food cart ka ganun pa din, magpapalaki ka pa din ng space mo. just an idea sis.
