On getting a tattoo (Thread 2)

^my getting a tattoo will surely be not a home service. i'll be doing this behind my parent's back, if ever. magsmoke nga ayaw nila eh!

Actually share ko lang:

Couz ko nagpa-tattoo na rin sa wakas. Actually, gusto ko rin pero thinking about the needle pain, hindi na lang ako nagpa-tattoo. Iilan lang naman sa school ang may tattoo although pwede. Pero if I were allowed to get a tattoo, pag-iisipan ko muna ang design, and it should be something with significance naman.

Yung sa couz ko naman, nagpa-tattoo siya because of her baby (niece ko nga sana 'yun pero namatay eh). Eh, dun niya lang nagustuhan magpa-ink because of that.

The pain is tolerable. Or siguro inexpect ko kasi na sobrang sakit sya tapos di naman pala kaya parang wala lang talaga saken. 18 pa lang ako gusto ko na patat yang word na yan, 5 years later. ayan na sya. ^_^

I got a tat just a week ago and healed na ang wound although may kati pa rin..It is a phoenix and dragon tat with "fabulous" word in it, colours: red/orange/dark orange. sa may bicep/close to underarm area nakalagay..true na super masakit sa area na yan pero I'm happy nakayanan ko, inisip ko na lang wala pa rin tatalo sa sakit ng panganganak diba

Wow may thread 2 na. I started thread 1 in 2007 i had no tattoo. Now i am preparing for my 6th tattoo 😄 pagkakuha ko ng 13th month pay! So excited

pinsan ko lalaki nagpakalasing tapos saka nag patattoo..halos kalahati ng braso niya laki, 3 days ginagawa yun.. kaya araw araw siya umiinom for 3 days hahaha..

^ Pwede naman but I would you advise you sisters not to. Kasama sa experience ng pagpapatattoo 'yung pain.

I have a bible verse tattooed on my inner right wrist and it didn't hurt much. Well, at least, not like I expected it to. That, or mataas lang tolerance ko sa pain. Nakakapagtext pa nga ako the whole time I was getting inked haha.

sis wannabe wala sabi ng tattoo artist mas mahirap daw mag heal pag may topical anesthesia..infairness mahal yung tattoo niya naka 20K ata. di ko kilala yung artist pero maganda naman pagkakagawa it art na art ang dating..

Sometimes it's all in the mind.

may mga tinatawag na analytical pain - habang nasasaktan ka, tinititigan mo pa, at inaanalyze yung sakit na nararamdaman.

having a tattoo is a wonderful experience and is also a process. the needles and the healing and the wanting to scratch afterwards, and then wanting to have a tattoo again good luck gogogo dumadami ang girls na may tattoo

haha..siguro mas masakit yung waxing, dipende on your pain threshold yung iba keribles lang ang pag waxing pero ayaw sa needles, vice versa lang.. pero I'd rather getting inked than waxing..

Slickchick: For me, Brazilian waxing is more painful.

On my pain meter: The most painful is
     1. Odontectomy
     2. Brazilian waxing

Getting a tattoo is not painful at all, maybe it depends on what area but generally speaking, it's not. For me the highlight of getting a tattoo is the healing process which is really very itchy yet you can't scratch it, you can only pat it, now that's the one that's excrutiating  Then again, we're all different. What is relaxing to me may be painful to others.

hi sis littlekinselle and sis rastagurl11! thanks for your inputs.  sis rastagurl, i liked the way you ranked them according to your pain meter. at least i have an idea of the "pain level" involved. i want to have one tatt sa nape lang - small lang about 2x2inches or 3x3inches (at most). i'm also planning to get a brazilian also one of these days, so iniisip ko which is more bearable. thanks sa feedback mga sis!

^brazilian kasi gets less painful as you get to have more and more.

hmmm, okay ako sa needles and waxing. go na ako!  and relatively it's not so painful in the wrist daw. maybe let's just choose a part na konti lang ang nerves. wala nga namang masyadong nerves sa wrist. less sensitive.

^^ My nape tattoo was the easiest one I got. The one on my lower back is the most painful (I have 3 kasi, ankle, nape, and lower back). Kayang kaya mo yan, I have 3 Celtic circles arranged vertically on my nape, each is the size of Coke bottlecap.

You're right sis iwannabeasupermodel, less nerves sa area, less painful. That's the reason why the lower back hurts the most. Pero lahat naman yan bearable.

Ryan Bernardino referred by a friend ko lang din sabi magaling daw ei, nag pupunta siya jan sa cebu sis.. nag inquire kasi ako hehe sa gusto ko  sana siya puntahan sa tat shop nila sa cubao noon, sinabi niya na di daw siya pwede noon kasi nasa Cebu siya nag tatattoo din siya jan di ko nga lang alam kung saan yung tat shop niya jan.
