On getting a tattoo (Thread 2)

sa ngayon home service siya yung shop niya is under construction pa pero nag ooperate na to some clients na may scheduled appointment:)

sobrang gusto ko na talaga magpa.tattoo kaso medyo religious ang fam kaya ayaw ng grandparents ko.. pero ngayon napipilit ko na mom ko, konting sundot na lang siguro..hehe

gusto ko talga before fairy na lumilipad o kaya cupid kaso may nagsabi sakin na if i wanted a tattoo, yung sobrang gusto ko dapat kasi nga nama "forever" na siya.. sabi pa nga niya kung siya daw mukha ng mommy niya nung dalaga pa yung ipapalagay niya.. so, napaisip tuloy ako..hehe and since single mom ang mudrabels ko, ambigram ng names namen yung naisip ko.. ang problema, kung san ko ipapalagay.. san ba maganda?

Lately I've been thinking about getting a tattoo, something that would symbolize female strength , probably Athena's symbol which is the owl. I just want a tiny one, still trying to decide though whether I'd like it on my toe or on my nape.

Kaso my problem is, people I know might get shocked if I get one kasi wala talaga sa personality ko hahaha. I've always been prim and proper so 'yon lang problema ko. Kaya ngaun I'm trying to convince myself that it's okay and should stop caring about what other people would say. That's my reason for getting a tattoo anyway. I want something to remind me all the time that I've reached the point of my life where I'm already strong and have full control of my own life.

When I told my friends about it, they were like "WHAT?"

ang gusto ko naman yung parang quote ni Nietzsche, "What cannot destroy you increases your strength." parang calligraphy sa left arm.  para permanent reminder lang. hehe. although, minsan pag inaatake ako ng geek virus ko, gusto ko naman UFO yung design, sa right leg, malapit sa ankle. LOL. 

di pa rin ako makadecide kasi andami kontra... lalo na daw, kasi, baka di maganda tingnan sa office context.

pero kebs na. basta i'm set on getting a wrist tattoo. kaso sa kakatingin ko online ng kung ano anong tattoos, ang dami ko na tuloy gusto ipagwa. pero basta yung sa wrist muna.

malapit-lapit na yung "target date" na binigay ko sa sarili ko to get inked. i already have a design which i found sa internet, pero gusto ko lang ipa-modify ng konti to make it more personalized (a friend told me kasi that the circle surrounding the figure makes it appear as a company logo.. kainis..). i'm just wondering if yung mga tattoo artists can modify and "customize"/personalize designs na ni-download ng clients nila from the internet? and ano ba usually yung parang process pag gusto mo muna iconsult yung target tattoo artist mo - do you just go to their shop and set an appointment with them and if may charge na ba yun?

^sis, some tattoo artists customize talaga the design for you. you can go there nga tapos pa-draw mo sila on the spot, describe mo lang yun gusto mo i think lahat naman free consultation, kasi permanent ang tattoo eh. you can walk in tapos ask ka na lang para kampante ka. you can email or text them too, pero mas mabilis if you walk-in

^ thanks sa info sis! sige, i'll drop to drop by na lang dun sa shop nung target tattoo artist ko or itext ko to set an appointment. hopefully, he can accommodate the customization naman, and sana minimal or free yung consultation charge nya.

Here's the my 2nd tattoo pala, done last July pa. Barely 3 months lang when I had my 1st done so super talagang nakaka-addict. The first one was done by Ryan Bernardino, and 2nd was done by Richard Gavino.

I'll get a tattoo na talaga. Before November deadline ko for myself. I decided on a short bible verse sa left wrist. Super sakit ba dun, mga sis? And what do I do after mailagay? Syempre hand 'yun, madalas mabasa. Pano ako maliligo and everything. Sorry, I'm clueless, wala sa circle ko 'yung may tattoo kasi.
