i'll start my homebased job on monday night. medjo mababa offer compared sa salary na nakukuha sa ko sa office based. kaya i'm thinking twice. I've done inbound and outbound pero offer is so so lang sa homebased.

I have a friend who has the same work (at 19 y/o) and he got accepted. I'm thinking of changing my age nalang to 22 (cause some sites have age reqs) . ;n;

Any suggestions po?

It's not your age. Marami na akong nakitang mga ka-age mo na nakakakuha ng work. Ikaw na rin ang nagsabi na may friend kang ka-age mo na nakakuha ng work.

Marami na rin akong alam na hirap na hirap kumuha ng work kahit nasa tamang edad na sila.

Focus ka sa profile at portfolio mo. Baka napaka konti ng details na nakalagay. Yung portfolio, importante yan. Malamang wala ka pang mga projects na pwedeng ilagay sa portfolio, so I suggest na gumawa ka ng samples. Siguro kung online english tutoring, I think magandang gumawa ka ng 2 to 3 video samples ng tutoring mo at yung ang ilagay mo sa portfolio mo.

Magtanong ka rin sa mga kakilala mo na ganito ang work kung saan sila nakakakuha ng work. Ang alam ko, may dedicated websites ang mga ganitong online tutoring at hindi sa mga typical freelance sites.

Yung mga cover/application letters mo, kailangan customized at huwag generic-sounding. Try mong i-address ang gusto ng client based sa job description niya.

I just tried applying sa rarejob kanina. They sent me na yung orientation email. so I would expect a phone interview daw in 1-3 days. Then pag wala pa din I can follow it up with them. Sa mga nagwowork sa rarejobs... how much ang rates? Hindi ba mahirap magturo?

At odesk, pasok ka since age requirement is at least 18 years old. For suggestion, please never try to change your age kasi at the end of the day baka babalik rin sayo yan. Let us say baka hahanapan ka ng id na dapat andun yung birthdate...we don't know. So better stick to what is right...

What else do you have in hand now? Do you know how to write articles? Marami rin naghahanap ng article writer.

Hello mga sis,  I have been doing online gigs for the past years but I have not landed a job na talagang malaki ang pay.  Sideline lang talagang matatawag, but still it's nice to know na may pera akong nakatabi sa Paypal ko just in case kailanganin ko (maliit nga lang, but still..)  Sa ngayon, I only have two sources -- postloop and freelancer.  medyo mabagal ang turnover so naghahanap talaga ako ng pandagdag sa dalawang ito.   i find onlinejobs.ph interesting, but my question is, legit ba ang lahat ng employers na nagka-post doon?  or is it like freelancer.com or odesk.com na take a job at your own risk?  may mga projects kasi akong natapos sa freelancer.com na hindi naman nagbayad e... baka ganun din mangyari sa onlinejobs.ph...

please enlighten me mga sis.  TIA!!

additional question:  sa onlinejobs.ph ba ii-email ko ang employer and express my intention to apply for the job, or iintayin ko sila na mag-email sa akin para sabihing mag-apply ako for their jobs?  Sorry ha, im still getting used to the site kasi e.

hello mga sis, I just want to ask if any of you knows postloop.com?  it's a paid forum site and I have been a member since last year.  The pay is not that high, requires a lot of posting actually for a measly amount of $5 payout, but I guess a lot of members there are earning big already because of referrals.  I am active there kahit maliit pa lang nakukuha ko, what matters is legit sya and paying.  I am still struggling to discover other sites where I can earn para sana madagdagan din ang kita sa homebased earnings ko.

mga sis meron bang may alam dito about google adsense? kasi nagcreate ako ng blog tapos nag-submit ako sa google adsense. i got rejected. wala pa kasing laman ang blog ko nun... kelan kaya ako pwede mag-submit ulit? kasi pag nag-apply ako for google adsense lagi sasabihin your email was rejected.. parang ganun..

^^sis bat di ka nalang magtry mag register sa odesk at mag apply sa mga available jobs dun kasi meron din dun mga forum/blog posting. member din ako ng postloop pero nagregister lang ata ako dati di ko naman tinuloy.

^nagtry din ako one time sa google adsense sis rejected din ako hehe kasi wala naman laman yung blog ko dati. dapat ata eh medyo matagal na at regular ka magpost sa blog mo para ma approve.

Hi sis, mahirap kung sa mahirap makipag compete sa odesk. But there's no shortcut to that, ganun talaga e. At least you get to start somewhere, kaysa naman you keep on asking if you have a chance on the site instead of taking that first step, the latter will at least get you somewhere, right?

As far as I'm concerned, marami ring writing options sa odesk. I've been receiving invites from a lot of employers, pero d ko masyadong iniintindi ang writing ngayon kasi mas nakaka stress sya at nakakatuyo ng utak, compared to what I'm doing now which is video editing, transcription, VA tasks. Well, at least that's what I feel right now. Who knows? I might just change my mind after a while

Kaya go na sis. Try mo lang i-activate yung odesk mo kasi you can always state in your application that you have some writing experience, but not on the odesk platform, etc. etc.
