This is the site where i get some updates about PTC http://ptc-investigation.com/ but then as of this moment the site is unavailable, I didn't know what happened.

^ flexible in the sense you can choose when to work.. pwede mo hatiin 8 hours mo sa morning then pwede yung other 4 hours sa gabi na.. kung baga, call mo na yun..

^ i agree. it can be flexible. wag lang ang project that needs to be done on a specific time. like virtual assistant (depends pa rin) or selling something. you have to work on client's time. so far, iisa pa lang ang client ko na may oras. and hindi ko na sya client kasi medyo stressful kapag ganun e. the others are fine no matter what time i finish the job - although may deadline hindi masyado nakakastress.

Am an academic writer and blogger and I just wanted to share my experience here about writerighteam.com.

I was hired last December by the company's director, Hala Khalek, to do some blog posting jobs. The agreed rate was $200 per week which was very enticing, that's why I was willing to give up my other jobs. (Am also a contractor at odesk) I prioritized the work for this Hala Khalek, who even promised a bonus of $400 for the Christmas holidays.

You see, I was a freelance writer for the writerighteam site and what I liked about it was that the rates they gave per project is very much higher than those offered in other academic sites. However, the offer given by Hala Khalek was even way more irresistible, especially the bonus, that's why I agreed to work for her and her company in a more active way.

To my regret, what happened was that Hala Khalek only paid the initial payment we agreed upon -- that is, half of the payment for my writing tasks, and then the $200 for the first week that I worked. Little did I know that it was just her way of making me continue to work for her. In so many words, it was all empty promises from then on. The initial payment was made during the last week of November. Nothing followed after that. Everything was excuses, empty promises, alibis and all concocted lies. She promised payment from paypal, global, swreg, money gram and all other remittance companies but nothing ever reached me. The last word she said was that the money had been sent but the info was in a locked drawer in her office and that she was sick.

What's worse is that this person is even the one threatening to sue me for libel if I expose her for her misdeeds. Instead of being apologetic, it's even her who seems to be doing the righteous thing. I was the one disadvantaged here but it felt like I was the one who owed her an apology.

But I will not just give this up without a fight. In my own little way, even if I do not get to post this on my personal blog, I'd like to help all our other sisses out there who may get sweet-talked by this con artist. I already read negative reviews about Hala Khalek posted on the net before I even commenced working for her blogs, although they were anonymous so I took it with a grain of salt and thought I had to see for myself if the posts were true. Indeed, they all are.

So please be forewarned. Please remember the names- HALA KHALEK and writerighteam.com. Stay away from these names unless you'd like to go through what I had been.

Yes legit ang rarejob. English tutor ka to Japanese people I think. A friend of mine worked there a few years ago. Don't know how the company is now. Ang alam ko lang, make sure your internet connection is very stable.

i didn't know na ganito na pala ang trend ng home-based jobs, I thought freelance writing lang yung available, marami na palang nagsulputang free lance jobs. I am very interested in this and I think that this is the best job for me internet had been my bestfriend for years, and I love doing research and have a good backgrond in psych and research (I'm a psycology major). last night I started to look for part-time jobs sa odesk pero kakaunti yung nakita kong gusto ko. Medyo takot din ako to work for international employers

^don't worry sis, marami rin namang mababait na foreign employers.....as long as na meet mo yung expectations nila at nade-deliver mo on time yung projects/task.....

^tama ka sis meron naman mababait na mga international employers. I am doing odesk tasks too, just recently started.

^^Yun din akala ko dati sis writing gig lang ang pwede kong gawin so ako naman pinilit ko magsulat, the problem is hindi ako magaling and usually grammar problems talaga so merong time dito na I was hired by a probationary GT member at natanggap ako, both filipina, unfortunately I was scammed after working for almost a month. I know Odesk na by that time pero takot ako kasi when they say interview iniisip ko via skype with matching camera mode pa so I registered lang pero never applied. But now nagsisisi ako kung bakit di ko pa tinuloy dati eh pwede naman pala ako sa data entry  nasayang ang panahon ko kumbaga, I'd worked twice na sa unang employer ko although kahit mababa eh pay naman sya agad at mabait. But still hoping pa din magkaron ng long term contract na ok ang pay
