Hi sis RedHotMomma,

It actually depends on the employer.  And of course your skills since the employer would want an idea of what you can do in the interview part.  Ako rin naman walang formal training sa transcription.  And I don't even have any formal training in computers!  Minsan lakasan lang talaga ng loob yan e.  Try to get certified with your typing speed para alam mo kung ilan ang wpm mo, which you can add to your resume and cover letter.  You can try Brainbench or http://speedtest.10-fast-fingers.com/, and there are others available on the net too. 

Don't be insecure or hesitant, and don't be afraid of failure - kakatapos ko lang manood ng 1 webinar and it was one of the messages that stuck   Dapat daw wag matakot sa failure kasi failure is necessary to achieve success.  So go lang ng go sis!  Let me cheer you on.

Hi sis,

I took on transcription jobs WITHOUT any experience at all.  Wala po akong alam na tutorials for transcription.  Kailangan lang naman you have good typing speed to do this task.

As I said in my post for sis RedHotMomma (which is just above yours) just try to get certifications online for your typing speed.  Practice lang ng practice and you'll be able to get good at it.

i have already completed my profile in onlinejobs.ph. after a day, i received several emails inviting me for interview. ang pinagtataka kolang, bakit parang pare-pareho ang template ng email nila? tsaka per hour daw ang job pero hindi ko makita kung paano ako magla-log ng time ko. anybody here who can answer my inquiries? TIA.

I registered in virtapay and seems that you need to find of selling something so that you will earn. Kakasign up pa lang so no idea on what to do and how to start. Tapos dito naman sa ntl.earnparttimejobs.com nalilito naman ako dahil naglogin na ako. How come I can't see the form filling data entry na gagawin rito and as I can understand refer ka lang ng refer rito? I hope someone could help me regarding this matter on how to start on this site.

Pasali    Recently resigned fro my work. Sobrang depressed na kasi ako sa work ko and I want to focus on my clothing business more. I signed up at Odesk last September 39th and fortunately, I got 2 jobs. One as a VA and another one as a ghost writer.

so far hindi naman ako nakareceive ng madaming interview invites like yours. meron isa last week at isa this week, nag-inquire about article writing for them. yung specific jobs na inapplyan ko naman, di ako nireplyan. hihi

may 5 emails na ata ako nareceive from onlinejobs. ask lang if available pa ako eh ampness naman yung internet ko sobrang bagal. ask ko palang ano opening sa kanila

hi mga sis...just got hired by a nice employer (i think) in Odesk after three serious month of applying for homebased job. Ang dami kong inaplayan iba iba. elance, scribie, freelancer, quicktate, essay.ph, writers.ph, remotestaff at madami pang iba na usually nakukuha ko through careerjet.

Grabe unexpected talaga for me kasi I already give up na and looking for full time office job na. Super happy kaya mga sis try and try po. Don't lose hope and saka need lang ng patience talaga.

Another thing, if even na me gusto ng filler job (panpalipas oras na kikita ka ng konti) eh try nyo Amazon Mechanical Turk (https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome). Legit site naman nyan pero FYI po filler job lang sya talaga kasi mga cents lang kikitain mo per job na simple job lang. Actually, according sa research ko po this is good for newbie transcriber na gusto kumuha ng experience and sametime makapagpractice. Mababa lang bayad saka sobrang ikli ng transcribe mo pero wala sialng requirements so kahit sino pasok po.

try nyo lang po.

wow congrats sis. ako mukhang na scam na ako dun talaga sa employer ko nung nakaraan di na nagparamdam eh $29 nagawa ko $5 lang ang pinadala sa paypal ko tsk tsk . iniisip ko nga kung magtranscription nalang ako kesa mag article writing baka sakaling hindi masyadong madugo sa utak
