*i don't think you'll need a bigger bottle because you can't do this frequently.... also, please do buy hydrocortisone cream (pharex brand is just P95) for anti irritation, you also need to apply this if ever it becaomes itchy

sis tanong lang sa mga nakapagTCA na, anong recommended soap for face after ng tca? pede ko ba gamitin [textspeak!] dating soap ko w/c galing sa let's face it- whitening and anti blemish soap? dito lang kasi ako hiyang since dati, no idea kasi ako kung ano talaga gagawin, baka kasi pag nagswitch ako ng soap bka magreact/break out na naman skin ko. TIA!

^i suggest using a mild soap especially during peeling... use your whitening soap after peeling is completely done

regarding the peel. finally got my face TCA yesterday, tight parin ang feeling,no visible flaking pa, doc ana from 6f clinic prescribed me to use their toner- clindamycin ata ingredients nun from what i've heard, just curious if it is okay to use the toner while I'm still/during the peeling stage? or antayin ko muna matapos [textspeak!] peeling? wala kasi siyang sinabi. TIA

^don't use anything while peeling... just use a very mild soap too

Had tca body peel last week, mga 20% na nag pepeel yung arms ko and feet. Wala pa masyado sa legs.

^ kung gagamitin po ba ito sa scars sa legs kelangan buong legs iyong lagyan o pwedeng dun lang mismo sa scars? do you think sisses mas ok result nito for lightening scars, better than gpo or glyco peel? i need to lighten my scars kasi sa legs within 2 weeks sana.

would like to share my exp.. i wanted to have whiter skin so i thought of doing this. aside from that gusto ko din mawala childhood scars ko. i used 15% tca for 3 days, 3 layers per day as instruction on the kit states. on my 4th day, nangati lahat ng area na pinahiran ko ng tca. hindi lang simpleng pangangati. as in napuyat ako dito at sya na ang pinakanakakabaliw na
pangangating naranasan ko. i know its not a good idea to scratch but i couldn't help it! now im on my 7th day. lalong nangitim ang balat ko. there are areas na mas maitim than the rest. i had small wounds dahil sa pangangamot at sobrang dami nila although sobrang liit lang naman. it was 2 days of agonizing itch na lalong nagpapangit sa balat ko. nagmicropeel na ang kamay at legs and i really hope na magpe-peel pa dahil sobrang nagitim at nangulubot ang balat ko. i was expectig macropeel pero im afraid micropeel lang ang mangyayari and i will be
left with dark wrinkled skin. waaaaaaah!:( super tiis ginawa ko while doing this procedure at dami kong hirap, pero parang hindi kagandahan ang labas

Sis pag po nagpe-peel na ok lang gamitin na soap yung lactacyd na blue? Mild naman yun right since for baby naman? Dove po pwede din?

hi, mga sis! i just wanna share my experience and ask some questions. i had a leg peeling with 35 or 25% TCA done at VSRC. it is the research clinic of VMV Hypoallergenics. it was kinda expensive. the rate for leg peel was 8,000 and i was sent home with medicines (ointment in particular) which was about 4,600. that was a jaw dropping, 12,600. but anyway, i don't wanna risk my skin. so i went to a VMV dermatologist as their products work wonders for my skin. anyway, i had the application of the solution last saturday. came sunday and monday. today is just basically my third day. i'd just like to ask, is it normal that i don't feel and see any itch, redness, tightness. as in wala. i spent the whole day researching how TCA works, at lahat, sinasabi na the next day after TCA was applied, super namumula na at super tight na ng feeling. but as for me, parang wala lang. no tight feeling. considering i'm on my third day na.

don't worry, i'll update you guys. i hope this works as i have so much faith in VMV. :s

called my derma na. normal lang daw kasi di nya kinapalan yung application. kasi first time ko pa lang naman daw. so there. let's see how it goes.

update AGAIN:
i met up with my derma last saturday (May 12, 2012). sinabi ko sa kanya na hindi masyadong nagppeel. sabi n'ya talaga daw manipis muna yung una n'yang nilagay kasi not everyone reacts the same sa TCA. so since, kaya naman ng balat ko, nagreapply ulit sya ng TCA 20% sa legs ko. two coats and maybe 3 dun sa affected areas. napansin ko medyo nangitim at nasunong yung part na 3 coats. pero di ko na sinabi sa kanya kasi baka makulitan sya. anyway may follow up/check up naman ako ulit this sat. i'll update you ulit!

@1jen if 3 layers, then you should've use 10% tca.... if you have 15%, then 2 layers will do...

what happened to your skin is it got burnt... because you had 45% tca every night, which is not recommended to be done by yourself....

also, you should have hydrocortisone cream... to help soothe your skin & avoid inflammation

for those asking what soap or cleanser to use during and after a TCA peel, my derma advised me to use Oilatum. I think Cetaphil bar will also do, kaso mas mahal. you may use Physiogel to moisturize.

sis... yung pangingitim at pangungulubot ng balat is a sign that your skin will start peeling. iwas sa kamot. keep your skin molisturized.
and as sis bratinella said, you should have anti itch cream.  You said you used "kit". AFAIK, usually kasama ang anti itch cream pag bumili ka ng kit. And since it's TCA, you'll peeling big time because it's 15% TCA and 3 layers ang ginawa mo (unless it's a diluted solution).

hi mga sis. i tried using GPO last time. i dont know pero parang hindi nman pansin kung nagpeel nga.. gusto ko kasi matry tong tca kaso parang nakakatakot. . . if i apply it sa thighs and arms pano ba sya iaaply? parang tulad lang ba ng maxipeel sa face. gamit ang cotton balls? salamat mga sis..

^yung GPO kasi after 3 to 4 days pa bago magpeel. tapos pag nababasa pa yung are na inapplyan mo, lesser pa yung peeling. based on my personal experience un ha. with a GPO purchased online (kay ms. jamie ng HBS-multiply). personally, i won't repurchase again. and yes, mas risky ang TCA so dapat if it's your first time at medyo sensitive ang skin mo, have it done by a derma.

sisters ilang weeks bago ulit gawin ang pagpeel since the last time you did it? i tried this one diy for the first time. after 3 weeks tapos na lahat ng peeling kaso im not satisfied sa result. at first maganda kasi new skin na at natanggal darkspots but after ilang days balik sa dati iyong darkspots ko. medyo naglighten naman pero konting konti lang. i've used it kasi sa old scars sa legs and sa my knee area kasi medyo dark siya.

^1 session of TCA will lighten your scars a shade lighter only... you can't do it again kasi ninipis ang skin mo & magiging super sensitive sa araw 

if you did 3 layers (10% TCA), you may repeat after 6 weeks (after your peel is completely done... not the day you applied TCA PEEL)... but, i do recommend doing it 3 moths after so that your skin has totally healed

^ thanks for answering sis. i thought its safe to do it every month since the last time you applied the tca. di pala iyon pwede. i just want to lighten my scars completely. dahil to sa cyleina black pearl soap eh nagkallergy ako mga 3-4 years ago na rin.
