i used tca 10% x 4layers sa legs ko down to my feet kasi i got toasted sa beach.. its so good nag peel agad skin ko after 3 days then more more lotion ako kasi ganun yun mga sis pag nag pepeel ka dapat laging moisturized and skin or better laging wet kaya dapat more more shower hehe.. mas mabilis mag peel.. sa mga facial salon pwede mag pa tca sabhn nyo lang chemical peel 300 lang sya sa forever flawless.. :)

^have you tried TCA peel or not yet? where are you applying it?

if glycolic lotion does give you constant peeling, it is not adviseable to use it on a daily basis... it might make your skin thinner  ;)

I was afraid to do DIY so I had it done sa derma mismo.  Pero gusto ko ulitin nagyon, takot pa rin ako so pag-iipunan ko ulet yung sa derma. lol

What are the chances that the area applied wont peel? Kasi dry skin ko so sobrang tagal mag peel. Minsan abot 2 wks. Kasi di ba pag tca nagdadark sya tapos mag pepeel na then makikita na yung new skin. Pano kung hindi mag peel. Sa glycolic din kasi hindi ako nag peel

@JVCAV tca peel is a much deeper peel compared to glycolic... some like glycolic peel because it's peeling is not that visible (depending on strength though)... micropeeling

bleaching is different from glycolic... in the sense that bleaching whitens skin... while glycolic peels of dead skin on top of the layer of your skin... and since dead skin is removed, it also reveals a bit lighter & healthier skin

it's better to peel first then use bleaching stuffs since it's easier to lighten new skin.. no more dead skin... which hinders lightening  ;)

@taleebin TCA is a much deeper peel compared to glycolic... glyvolic is a type of AHA peel (like lactic, citic, malic acid)... which is a mild exfoliating treatment.. that's why this is considered a mild peel

pre tca treatment... it is recommended to prep your skin like using Retin-A or AHA creams... it is recommended but not required though...

may areas talaga kapag nag tca peel ka di kaagad nagpepeel kasi sort of stubborn yung skin mo :P

^yeah, pag nagpapaderma ako usually my doc applies a thin layer lang but yung nasolabial folds, nose and chin area lang ang nagpepeel. so ayun. magkaiba pa ba sis yung retinol sa tret?

@taleebin retinol = treitoin  ;)

@graezieylicious 5% will do & you may layer it... 5-10 minutes interval between application... try 2 layers muna... then see if it will peel or not.... mahirap na maburn  ;)  make sure to prepare neutralizer & hydrocort cream ;)

patch test first to make sure there's no allergic reaction  ;)

I had my 1st ever chemical peel kanina on my legs. i forgot to ask thepercentage na ginamit but before the procedure i heard the assistant say na 35% tca daw yung meron so i'm guessing yun ginamit nila.
I have no idea about the after-procedure effect of this kaya dito na lang ako nagbabasa.
May part kasi legs ko ngayon na dark and parang burned or something. I think it's the part na nag frost during the procedure.

Question: Is this a normal reaction? Sabi kasi nung assistant yun daw yung part na unang magppeel but she didn't say na mag dadarken sya.
During the peeling stage ba bawal mag pants? baka kasi mag darken due to friction dba? how long kaya entire peeling process nito? napapraning na yata ako halos ayaw kong hawakan yung legs ko parang ayaw ko nga maligo muna bukas eh  :D parang praning lang ;D
