TCA Peeling Thread 2

^hi sis, ah ok sis gayahin ko style mo ng application, oo nga sis ganun din yung nakalagay dun s instruction na wag muna basain 24hrs after ng application..tapos d next day pede na uli lagay ng tretinoin or cream..bakit mo pala need i rinse yung face mo sis? good thing nag pepeel off pa din skin kahit binasa din agad..macro peeling ba sis pag s face..kasi yung sa aking legs as in macropeeling talaga ty sis.

^Yes sis, macro peeling ang effect nya.  Yung gauze naalala ko lang dati sa derma ko... pag naga-apply sya ng peeling solution sa face ko hindi cotton ang gamit nya kundi gauze.  Napansin ko din na di masyado naso-soak ang gauze, tipong tamang-tama lang ang naa-absorb nyang solution.  Takot kasi ako na sobra ang ma-absorb na solution, baka mag-drip sa eyes, no-no yon!

Binasa ko yung face ko kasi nabasa ko sa net na dapat daw i-neutralize yung solution after the desired time.  That way di daw masyado mag-penetrate yung acid sa skin.  Pero meron din akong nabasa na di talaga napipigilan ang pag-penetrate ng acid... tuloy-tuloy sya until mag-frost.  Medyo hesitant pa ko ipa-stay sa face ko yung TCA kasi first time ko DIY, kaya I decided to rinse it.  Pero I am thinking of not rinsing next time, baka mas deeper ang peeling.

^ thanks sis dami ko nale learn sau hehe...dami ko pa kc na tca 60ml, mahal pa ng pagkabili ko s KJ, kaya i want to use it talaga, hopefully every month sa knees and legs n every 1 1/2 month na lang sa face or every 2months ok na din, ito sana plan ko, kasi timing medyo maulan n cool pa weather natin ngayon, so before mag summer achieve ko na result na gusto ko n stop na..mas careful na ako now kasi na try ko na s legs so medyo alam ko na consistency na dapat ko lang ilagay pag s face na n with the info that u share so far love ko result s legs ko, mas nag lighten talaga skin n smooth pa hahaha ty again sis

at last nakapagdiy nako nung sat at sunday, grabe, super nagbabalat ngayon ang face ko, dito pa naman ako sa office, halos nailagay ko na [textspeak!] moisturizer ko, no effect pa din, nahihiya tuloy akong tumayo sa seat ko

^I feel you.  Ako, nag-present pa sa client.  Failed.  Kitang-kita ko na destructed sila sa face ko.

My 2nd TCA peel will be later this afternoon.. sa wakas, unti unti ng nawawala ang sumpa ng aking UA.. weeeeee!!!

@curandera, hi sis, finally nakapag diy na ako s face last night, just followed your tips hehe..pero di ko na na rinse yung face ko, mild lang kasi diluted na, wala naman masyadong stingy feeling.. ;)xtra careful lang..kaya go na ako..waiting period to peel start na.. TIA

yes sis... as long as it's diluted and in low % just use 5% or 10%... then prepare a neutralizer (backread) just in case

For LEGS na maraming hyperpigmentation dahil sa mga shaving nicks/plucking scars, what concentration should I use? 10%? 15%? 20%?

^10% would be the safest.... you could layer it if you want a much deeper peel (but be very careful) just prepare a neutralizer & a hydrocortisone cream just in case  

also, don't wear tight fitting clothes that may cause friction... it may lead to darkening

So sad, until now wala pa ako mabilhan nito. doctors lang daw pinapabilhan tsaka need ng prescription.

^ sis, dami nito online sellers, online ko lang din nabili yung sa akin..pag s pharma ka buy need mo prescription talaga sis..

btw, yung scar ko na dark/brown spot as in size siya ng thumb finger ko ganun kalaki, now its 2 shade lighter na and still peeling p din up to this time, at night after a shower i put bleaching cream and it helps also lightened my scar..so happy, at first kala ko kasi lalo nasunog siguro ganon mag react yung skin ko, but now malapit na mag fade and mag blend na sa skin color ko, wheww   yung sa face ko na diluted na ini apply ko wala pang peeling na nangyayari as of now..wait n see stage pa ko..

^sis sa online din yun yung mga nakita ko naman na hindi na need ng prescription eh super mahal!
anyway,
buti ka pa sis I’m planning din to do a diy sa october.. may mga scars din kasi ako sa legs hindi ganun kahalata gusto ko na magfade totally.skirt kasi uniform namin.

@ honeys: it's good to hear na nakapag-DIY ka na sa face.    Ako i need 2 or 3 weeks pa bago makapag-apply ulit.  Glycolic muna ko now... tingnan ko kung mas ok nga siya kapag combination.

^ hi sis, oo nga wait ko na lang, s may side ng nose nagpe peel na..nag improve ba pores u? right now i use din soap na glycolic base both s face n body, nakaka puti, almost two weeks ko ng gamit but combi with so many others whitening soaps hahaha..adik s pagpaputi talaga whaaa..

^when i had TCA peel, di naman siya mahapdi... even during peeling... a week after, when i returned for a follow up treatment, she did diamond peel on the area that didn't peel... so hayun nag peel off yung part na dark/di nag peel

jst wanna ask how much is the diamond peel for ua?
i had the same experience 15%TCA (@ contours), done with 2 sessions but still hindi lahat ng part nag peel but they don't offer diamond peel, pwede ba mag walk-in sa HOO for diamond peel of UA?

^yes they do accept walk in if the doctor doesn't have any prior appointments as for the price i already forgot... My doctor is Dra. Julie Pineda for UA Lightening & Dra. Alma Perez for LHR
