Wearing authentic crystals for good luck

Mga sis, nice thread. Matagal na ako nagbabalak bumili ng crystals kaso nga may iba pang priorities. Anyway, nagbabalak na naman ako.. hehe.. nagcheck ako sa ebay, may nakita ako nagbebenta dun na taga-paranaque at sabi suki niya din si Judy Hall (sa nabasa ko dito, may book na ginawa yun about crystals). Meron ba dito naka-try na bumili sa merchant na yun? May showroom din siya sa mismong house niya sa paranaque. May mura.. meron din mga mahal sa mga items niya. Eto po yun link nya:

sis GORGEOUSMAMA nung nasa acc lab ako, may nakita akong mukhang Jade then when I asked sabi adventurine nga daw then nag discuss si ate kung paano ko malalaman ang difference problem is..hawak ko si Carnelian and Amethyst so hindi ko masyado na gets yung sinasabi nya na medyo cloudy etc..etc..

Be careful.  When purchasing crystals --  focus on the crystal; do not be distracted by or mislead into proposed additions or re-working.  To use the term of 1 sis here -- baka mapanganga ka.   

Atchaka if it is antique -- the crystals/stones are usually carved and big; or in elaborate settings with other crysals/stones.  Remember --   kelan lang pinapansin mga crystals/stones na hind ruby/emerald/jade/sapphire.   SO para pansinin mga ito years ago as to  qualify now as antiques (100 yrs old,  others say puede na 50 years old; but most agree vintage is 30  years old ha) --  it should have been well worked on (fine/good carving) or in a well composed arrangement.

If the stone specimen is fine, go ahead pay a premium for it. But hwag paloloko na you are paying more coz  "antique"  daw.   Be patient and think out your purchases well. 

Si AKONG has a simple test for determining jade authenticity -- involves the burning of a strand of hair. 
I forgot all about it!  Ask him. Pa share  dito kasi I do not foresee going to Binondo anyime soon. 

SARAHSENSIBLE -- SAKS was  disappointing.  Or ubos agad siguro the fantastic set specimens.   Those I  viewed were impractical; or well, dinaan lang sa laki, but quality of the crystal/stone was bad.

Na-curious ako sa link na pinost mo lalo't nagc-claim siya na customer nya si Judy Hall. Never pa ako bumili online but if a seller has a physical shop then I think plus points na rin yon somehow sa credibility. Gusto ko sana puntahan pero ang layo na ng paranaque sa akin. Baka may mga sis na malapit sa merville? I already have the seller's number in case mawala ako going there.

^ Yes sis. Na-email ko na kanina yung seller and he does ship locally (via Air21 if I remember right). Yung showroom nya nasa loob ng isang house sa paranaque and yung viewing appointments usually on  weekdays lang.

Sis GORGEOUS galing ako mega, saan ba dun sa 4th level. Wala ako napansin na may Crystal mga 3 antique shop nakita ko. Napa shopping na lang tuloy ako sa F21 LOL

@ sarahsensible -- landmark: pedro gil midtown entrance ng robinsons manila, sis. yan ang katapat ng Bocobo St. Mula sa kanto ng pedro gil at bocobo, mga third building on the right side ang minex. Mataas na brown gate. 2 storey house. May building under construction sa tapat nito.

di pa knows ni hub na alam ko na  kasi the SA called his number e ako sumagot kasi nasa shower si hubby, aba'y na excite yta ,  slip of the tongue or talagang DALDAKINA,??? hahahahaha

 yun ang mganda if reputable store like A.LAB, they will tell you the truth if what kind of stone talaga yung hawak mo, they will not pass it off as something else

Thank you sa welcome mga sis. Honestly, wala akong alam sa mga crystals, I am just really fascinated dahil lang sa porma.. cute kasi di ba.. everytime I'd pass by sa mga muslim's stores (of course wala akong alam sa mga authentic chorva na yan).. basta gandang ganda tlaga ako and I somehow feel bad that I have other priorities kaya di ko mabili lahat ng type ko. And then years ago pati, sa tv napanuod ko si Ate Vi (hehe yeah si Vilma Santos), nagkekwento about her crystal collection.. at doon ko lang nalaman na may energy palang nakukuha from them. And then sumikat pa si Joy Lim because of Kris Aquino kaya ayun. Nagkaron na ako ng several crystal jewelry and reading through this thread, doon ko lang nalaman mga tawag sa particular crystal na yun and na-realize ko na bakit mahal ang crystals. Madali ako manawa though.. kaya di ko na alam saan ko pinaglalagay yun mga dati kong purchase kaya eto plano ko sila hanapin this weekend (yeah toinks talaga.. I think I have that mukhang jade na crystal.. I forgot the term sensha na po.. pasalubong siya sa akin ni ex ng galing siya ng HK). Amethyst, which is my birthstone.. meron akong earring and ring. Yun Onyx ko hinablot nung holdaper nung na-holdup yun bus na sinasakyan ko. Sayang yun kasi gandang ganda pa naman ako dun noon.. nabili ko ng gives sa officemate kong alahera. Pero at least di niya ako sinaktan.. imagine may hawak siyang baril, nakipagtalo pa ako na wag niya na lang sana kunin yun. Hehe

Bumili ako dun sa store na pinost ko from ebay kahapon.. di ko na nahintay comments ninyo dito hehe. Yung isang set lang muna yun binili ko (mix ng amethyst, citrine, etc).. try ko lang i-feel ba.  Sa Friday ko daw makukuha. Kinuha ko din address niya at number.. weekdays lang kasi siya bukas kaya medyo alanganin pa ako puntahan.

Nga pala, may third eye din ako na lagi ko sinasara kasi ayoko din ng ganun. I just feel weird sometimes na alam ko na ang susunod na mangyayari.. as in nakikita ko mismo nangyayari sa mind ko and napi-feel ko din pag may katabi akong kakaiba. Ngii. Di naman ako matatakutin kaya carry lang.. paulit ulit ko lang sinasabi sa sarili ko, hindi sila tutuo and then nawawala naman.

checkup ko sa OB and let's see kung makadaan ako ng MINEX. I'm really itching to go there kasi hindi successful ang trip ko to MEGA kahapon

yung jade ng husaband ko sa may Salazar Binondo ko nabili. yung sa daughter ko gift from a friend from Taiwan.

natawa naman ako sa take me home  but true! and i feel calm kapag i'm surrounded by so many gems hehe congrats naman sis sa monthsary gift sayo ng hubby mo  husband ko kaya kailan niya maisipan hahaha ako ang laging bumibili for him hehe 

mga sis may nakita ako sa St. Paul na gems but siyempre hindi ito presented as kikay accessories. may nakita akong pendant na korteng Holy Spirit and rosaries made of different gems. 

gusto ko din pumunta ng Minex..

The collective enthusiasm posted here is contagious.  Crystal energy has been scientifically documented, after all. 

However, I do not prescribe to the notion that things bring good luck.  Good luck is written in one's destiny;   arrive with some  people who come into our lives; comes as results of our decisions and actions;  and most of all, come as blessings from the Supreme Being one believes in. 

The 3rd Eye works with or without crystals, if one allows it.   

DISClAIMER: The  foregoing statements are just my opinions. 

On the other hand, there is  no harm in subscribing to whatever one wants to believe works.

Hindi ako natuloy sa Minex today after check up sa OB sayang but when I went to Trinoma napadaan ako sa gitna and found this stall "Silver Findings" they have rings,bracelets with Citrine, Peridot, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and Onyx... Diba kahit hindi ako natuloy sa Minex may nadaanan pa rin akong Crystals LOL sobra ang attraction. Yun lang hindi ko alam kung tunay ang mga yun, sabi naman ng SA tunay daw ang mga crystals na yun.

very interesting.. my mom has loose stones she letp na bigay daw sa kanya from way back... which i dont know what kinds hehe..

i visited minex website reasonable naman yung starter na small crystals.. since based on whay i read it size doesnt matter =)

since my mom is mahilig to wear bracelets might as well recommended to get the real ones..instead of the ones nabibili sa tiangge not sure if real..esp she has been sickly last year at nabutas na bulsa ko kakabayad sa hosp =(

might help her..
