Wearing authentic crystals for good luck

Digging through my spares last night, I came across a strand of onyx ... Duda ako agad.  The weight just wasn't right, for one.  Another reason:  the lustre was kinda "off". 
Surely gifted to me,  coz  if I buy -- agad choker yan or bracelet, lol.

Well 1 QUCKIE TEST OF AUTHENTICITY, lol :

      Put a bead in question  to  that area directly above your upper lip. (for me, that is more sensitive to cold than say my cheek/forehead).
      If it's cold --  it's a crystal. 
      If it's just cool -- or you're still in doubt --   Compare with how cold it is versus a bead or bracelet of a crystal you are very sure is authentic. 

Conclusion:  haynako, plastic.  Tapon agad.

Okay, for QUICKIE CLEANSING, as taught to me by several experts:

               Fill up a small box that's got a cover with  CLEAR CRYSTAL CHIPS and small CARNELIAN pebbles/beads.  Put your bracelet/necklace/whatever item there halohalo ovenight.   

               Or, put item on top of a clean upturned bowl -- put under running faucet for at least 5min.

               Or, hang the item on something that keeps it "floating"/"nakasampay" -- then using any incense stick --  pausukan mo say for 5min. -- move the  incense smoke along all parts.

               Or, for bigger items -- if you have a geode or big CLEAR CRYSTAL (for tabletop use) --  put the item on top, leave overnight.

PROGRAMMING IS REQUIRED, whatever cleansing method you use.

(There are other ways of course such as use of a singing bowl  (-- pero maiinip ka pag madami ka  nang items) -- exposure to moonlight/sunlight for hours... )

Whatever cleaning method suits you -- go! .

SIS, meron good specimen si YAHZH of PHIA Gems as of yesteray.  Size 15 or 14 beads made into a  choker.  The color caught my eye --  but I did not purchase it coz ang dami ko nyan that I do not use.

I am aware its energy is good, in a comprehensive way -lol, but I just don't connect with its energy to-date.   But my sister wears her bangle frequently.

nangiti  ako dun sa comment mo na do not shy away from size14-15 coz one of  reason why the amethsyt caught my fancy was because of the size of the beads, and talagang  na singled out ko sya when we were  there e sandamakmak ang kanyang amethsyt e, the thing that holds me back from buying it yung buddha na borloloy and si hubby na cumontra coz much nicer daw yung dark color and maliit na beads,, when i failed to take it home  it i threw into a tantrum so di ko sya kinibo till we reach home

my husband is supportive naman, in fact when i told him na you suggested to buy in MAcau coz the good stuff are there , he said pa nga ," o sya di mgpunta tayo ,"lol,

  in my quest to buy a good crystal ,ysterday naman he dropped by sa MINEX and went to Binondo dun store where sis seven2 got her crystals  and he strolled in several stores in Binon and Quiapo to scout for good carnelian, lol, mas excited pa sakin ang lolo,  hahahahaha

 but he freaks me out pg he is making pakialam na like the amethyst ke chinese, di daw mganda coz its too big  the nicer one daw are those small beads and the dark color, much prettier  clasyy daw yung flat kesa sa round,,, hayyy naku as if naman sya mgsusuot, yun bang akala mo e bag or shoes ang bibilin ko na sya ang kikilatis sa craftmanship, style and all that stuff, kasi nga daw impulsive buyer ako ,  actually di ko type yung mga choices nya, what im driving at is di ba  nagiging nEGA??? or di ba nahahluan ng nega or bad vibes?,

 sis follow up

 when we were in A.LAB,  the SA mentioned that one of the healing properties of Amethsty  is combatting INsomnia and also calming the emotions.i just recall i have a jewelry with amethsyt birthstone bought decades ago,  so  when we got  home i dug it up in my jewelry box and i want to try if it can make wonders

I dont know if part of me was furious bec we went home empty handed, my anger was building up  slowly so inaway ko si hubby, when i realized that my emotions was really high, i wore my amethsyt ring to mellow, suddenly i felt im calming down, till my irritation vanished,,,i dunno if that is psychological lang, then that same night, i wrapped my earrings in a plastic and put it under my pillow,,, i slept easily... hmmm psychological kaya, coincidence??? or what???

but the thing is di ko pa  sya na program and wala din syang cleansing,  kasi im not aware pa of this healing and i had it done sa Greenhills ke Bernardo para mging dangling so me humawak na ding iba aside from me,,, ang question ko , shall i have it program pa and cleanse it???

GORGEOUS MAMA. Size doesn't matter, God creates all equally, IMO.  It is mankind that complicates matters by creating "standards", IMO.

IMO, again, it isn't that your amethyt calmed you down and put you to sleep.   It's that amethysts expand and uplift your cosciousness so you gain more empathy  -- so subconsciously naisip mo na hwag nang pag-initan si hubby. Furtherdown, como na let go mo ngitngit mo -- you were relaxed, and able to go off sleep.  Good you took it off and put it under your pillow -- coz a little more time,  baka new thoughts (of heightened consciouness) would have kept you awake.

May I say something about Insomnia, kinda OT (hopefully, I don't get slapped  with a warning by the Mods).  My husband lets himself get uptight about his insomnia. Actually, lol, IMO, it is based on his gigil that at some  hour --  wala na syang makausap.

  I have tried putting crystals by his  side of the bed - hopia.     For some time, there was white howlite, blue lace agate & onyx under his side of the double mattress.  Worked for awhile.  But then, what really keeps him up, IMO, is his tenacity and inability to just wrap up a day, and let go of  unfinished matters for a couple of hours.  When nobody is out for his attention -- saka naman he uses the time to worry/anticipate complications & solutions thereto.

  He just cannot  learn to empty his mind, like a filled pitcher, of weighty matters.   No crystal works on
 his insomna, IMO coz he just won't wind himself down.  What works better is to keep him from drinking
coke/tea by 4pm, then giving him a glass of red wine after dinner.   Still it isn't foolproof coz well -- he
smokes a lot.     

So, for  insomniacs -- stop the caffeine after lunch, wind yourself   down by 6pm, then drink a glass of red Wine (not white wine/beer/brandy) or warm milk.   Do not exercise in the afternoon/evening too.   
Discipline yourself to detach, and let o.    Tomorrow will take care of Tomorrow.

GORGEOUS MAMA, and so!  we are alike  in that we are attached to amethysts.  Be forewarned:  you will keep on acquiring coz  they will call out to you. Lol.  Oh, you will be hoarding. hehe. 

Now, the jewelry is fine, though inconvenient to bring to  bed, & use during sports/house chores/ activities.  Plus, crystal contact with our skin increases attunement.  Hence, bracelets/bangles  & open-backed pendants/chokers seem to be more comforting & convenient.     The size 10 - 12, even 14 beads will allow  you to wear 3 or more other bracelets.  The bigger pieces are "statements",  lol - which you wear solo (some do come  sooo big. Lol) 

Now, if you should come across a modest  amethyst  tower, block or geode -- keep it by your bed if that is the crystal that calms your thoughts.  (or, someone  may benefit more from citrine by the  bed if she/he  tends to worry, sulk, or  get depressed).   IMO, there is greater attunement when you wear a crystal in small beads around  your neck, or on your wrist,  or as a small pendant to bed; rather   than putting crystals under your pillow.

Visited GH earlier. Funny how you frequent one place basically all your life yet notice a certain detail just now? kanina ko lang napansin na marami palang nagtitinda ng crystals sa jewelry section, both genuine and japeyks lol. Dati kasi kung mag-iikot ako sa section na yun pearls lang pakay ko. saw the strands of crystals sa PHIA, parang nahilo ako dahil gusto kong iinspect lahat eh ang daming nakasabit. di muna ako bumili, i want to take my time before i decide on something. Balikan ko when i have more time na mangulit sa mga tindera. Cute ng mga higanteng blue lace. Sabi ng kasama ko para daw akong maglalaro ng jolens haha.

May stalls na halatang plastic yung tinda, yung iba parang painted over yung beads. Kailangan nga ng konting ingat pag dun namimili.

Isa lang ang nabili ko sa aking pag-iikot -- sa dami ng nakahilera at patong-patong na bracelets sa isang tagong stall may napansin akong mapula kaya dinampot ko. tiger eye din pala. parang yung binanggit ni sis aquacharly, yung bracelet may yellow, red, and blue beads. mukhang genuine naman (harinawa sana tama ako lol). ayun sinama ko na pauwi.

i just saw you collection in fb, wow!!! ganda nga, but as usual my favorite amethsyt caught my attention, surprisingly i like jade also and lately napansin ko im drawn to citrine,,,

we went to GH 92 kanina, as you suggested i asked for the tiger's eye,pretty nga nga and though im  a newbie  in scruttinizing a  crsytal i can say nga na its  authentic, ,  but not  now!!!!,,, kasi im more drawn to Citrine!!!,

 SIS  did you see their collection of citrine ??, is it a good buY?

, WHAT COLOR  IS THE BEST ONE YUNG WHITISH.,LIGHT YELLOW, OR GOLD ?, they showed me different crsytals  there  but the citrine caught my fancy 

and  you have to buy pala the whole strand equiavalent to 2 bracelets or choker ,,, i thought pwde half lang, and when i touches it its so cold, looks authentic to me, lol (as if) lol

her price is 8k for the whole strand but she can give it  for 7k, nakow!!! if not for hubby buy ko na kanina , hahahaha, i will buy pa kasi the moonstone in Rockwell, amethyst and the carnelian that's why di ako makahirit ke hubby , lol

 sis yes the causes you cited are true,,,, however mine was a different scenario
 since YOU, ME , SEVEN82 AND SUMMERSONG seems to be in the same plane ,,, that is being sensitive to spirits/ ghost and entities,i would divulge na the reason why na trigger ang Insomnia ko,, i will make kwento   but i tmay be preposterous 

eversince i can/ /'feel sense the presence of a spirit,, i even hear strange voices to the point that i kidded myself  " di kya schitzo ako," lol, but recently something strange happened in our unit.

twas how i started to hve insomnia ,,,

 im having goosebumps, I could sensed na me kasama ako    whenever im alone in the house, hubby was away for a week, so i was alone sleeping,,
everynight i would be awaken coz someone is rocking my bed, my pillow,  everytime i would attempt to go back  to sleep, he would create noise to catch my attention, then i will stand up and check wala naman pala until mwala na yung antok ko,  I tried to brushed off the idea that He was behind  all of this ,,the height was when he revealed himself to me, I was chatting with a friend over the phone when in a blink of an eye, he showed himself, he is a guy , a teenager, mestizo and wearing a stripes t shirt, since then i cant sleep normally na  , im up till morning , when i see the sun rising, i will feel relieve  that i can now sleep kasi wala na sya ,, until hubby went home, i told him ,  he tried to reason out mybe not to frighten me , but one night while  we were talking, an object fell he quickly stood up and check,  NADA, this time he was convinced    so now i find it hard to adjust kasi nasanay na ang body clock ko na im up till morning,, hehe,

now the amethsyt heighten the conciousness and open the third eye, and that is my  my concern right now, how to   shut it  off ?,mybe you can shed light on this,,,

by the way its true ba na you have to avoid na basain frequently yung bracelet because of the thread
does it follow na pg bracelet you can soak it in water or even wash it since baka maging brittle yung thread

my sister just wipes her bracelets, I like to sometimes  wash them under running water.
Sometimes, I even soap them.   
I never use salt on my crystals. 

What am I trying to say?
     Whatever cleaning/maintenance  method satisfies you -- go! 

Oo, yan din sabi ng sister ko, the threading weakens.    So?  I will just go get it rethreaded.  Eh hindi naman as if you will go monthly ano.  Atchaka, before the bracelet snaps -- may warning ka -- 1, not all, threads snap.  So may time ka pa to go for rethreading.

GORGEOUS MAMA -  your experience, na take up ko my similar experience at another thread.  AKTHUNG, LUNAYSOL (or someone  with a similar name? Kasi bago pa dito si LUNaYSOL? but I like  her!!! ). -- helped me sort it out.

I don't wear my amethyst to bed, but I have a 2inch amethyst tower on the bedside  table by me, and a 2inch wide block of Black tourmaline.  I also do not wear to bed my rose quartz & rhodochrosite.
There are nighs I wear instead my onyx and  tiger's eye bracelets.   

GORGEOUS  MAMA, be sensitive to what you wear.  Lalo na to bed, coz  if you will notice -- your episodes happen  when you are in that state na hindi ka dead tulog, yung parang about to wake  up ka.  I dread that state.   This 1 pala saken   was an incubus.  Scary kasi he would touch my foot lang at 1st,  later touch  my thigh...  ... Tapos the last  straw was he went atop me - akala ko at 1st si hubby pero boink! Iba weight, I was soooo mad, though very scared.  Ayoko na matulog nights, like you now.   

What did I do, culled from suggestions at that  other thread --
1.  I would  very firmly state:  go away, respect my space,  I do  not want you here.
Paulit  ulit.  Lalo na after I say my bedtime  prayers.
2.  I told hubby if he wakes up & goes  down  to smoke -- leave a lamp on. 
3.  That time too --  the tv is always on.  Kasi di ba  natutulugan di ba, so when 1 wakes up to banyo -
switch off. Ah hindi na, forever on. But now, ok na so we switch it off sometime  during the night. BUT if he goes down, kelangan   switch on a lamp. 
4.  Basta I am in the room alone  --  May electronic  noise -- they hate that -- so IPod on dock  or tv.  Hindi ambient volume  ha -- yung volume na talagang hear mo.  My husband used to get pissed when I am in our dressing room, Or banyo or soaking in our tub, ang lakas daw my music.   Now he knows why
--  And lets me be.
5.  Labanan mo fear mo.  I think & state:  "More than anything/anybody -- I have the RIGHT to THIS space at THIS time -- so STAY AWAY, STAY OUT!
