at what age niyo pina-start schooling mga babies niyo?

Ako personally I want my son to start at 2, pero play school lang. Preschool siya pag 3 na.

Kasi ako I started at 5, pero homeschool na ko ng mom ko when I was 3.

1 yr 9 mos old start si baby sa playschool. today she's 25 months old. sa kakatapos lang na developmental assessment, one of the dev ped recommendations is that she may continue her toddler class. :-) i give credits to her playschool sa score na nakuha nya sa assessment. her personal/social skills gets 2.8 months ratings. advance ng 7 months.

At the age of 3 pinapasok ko na ang anak ko napansin ko kase mejo advance sya compared sa ibang bata.I guess inaka magandang pasukin ng mga bata at age 4 para maaga pa lang natuto silang madisplina at maki socialize sa ibang bata.

mga sis, pag age 3 na ba ang bata, preschool na ba ang dapat niyang pasukan? totally clueless me. or nursery? mag 19months pa lang baby ko, di ko sure if papasukin ko na siya sa mga playschool next year or wait till 3 years old na siya....

My son just turned 2 and Im planning to send him (with his cousin) sa toddler class this summer. I called one preschool here in the province and they invited my son to their pre nursery class by June, he will be 2yr 5 mos by then but they needed him to be toilet trained na. We just started toilet training him yesterday. My dilemma is I want him to join the pre nursery class by June however natatakot din ako na baka maburnout cya, though I know wala namang pressure kasi wala pa namang grades yun. If I let him start schoold next year, nursery na, baka naman malate cya and mawalan nang gana kasi most of his classmates knows more than him na kasi nag prenursery na. haaaaayyyyyy... kalurkey! I'm working din kasi so most of the time nasa yaya lang si baby.

torn if i will enroll my baby this school year. she'll be 2.9 months old on june. problem is yung school na gusto kong pasukan nya, ayaw sya tanggapin kasi requirement nila 3yo na dapat sa June. Sabi ko nga why not let her take the entrance test at assessment bakasakali pumasa naman. Ayaw talaga  .  Then 2nd choice ng school, they're willing to accept my baby provided she passed the test. Kasi youngest nila sa nursery last year was 2.7 months old daw. Need to pass the entrance test and assessment lang which i believe kaya nya yun ipasa (conceited hehe) kasi sa school nga nila talo nya pa yung ibang kaklase nya na mas matanda sa kanya. BUT again, i just learned that yung neighbor namin dun din mag-aaral. He's  turning 4yo this march e hindi pumasa for kinder kaya sa nursery grade lang sya enroll. So magiging classmates sila if ever?? waaa.. parang natakot naman ako sa idea.My petite 2.9yrs old daughter, may classmates na mga 4yo na, baka itulak-tulak lang. Buti sana if may yaya pa rin na kasama para laging may alalay. If hindi ko naman sya ienroll, baka manibago na sa bahay na lang sya maghapon. hay. insights pls.

^ My children entered preschool a few weeks before they turned 3 years old.   Mixed ages ang kids sa class kasi Montessori school, so may kasama silang 4,  5, 6 years old na mga kids and among the youngest sila, though may mas bata pa at 2 1/2 years old.  It has worked to their advantage.  They know how to deal with older kids and their language and vocabulary and social skills really improved after a few months lang of preschool.  But I guess the mixed-age environment really works in a Montessori classroom.  I don't know lang how it will be applied in a traditional school or even a progressive school setting na may levels ang preschool.

^^ gusto ko nga po montessori type din kaso wala po malapit samin. Traditional lahat. No choice. :-( If ibalik ko sya sa playschool to wait for next school year na tumama na sya sa edad, baka mabored naman na sya.

I just spoke with the directress of the school I want to enrol my son in. Usually, pre nursery nila is 2.6 but they will let my son enrol as 2.5 basta i f/u lang nang maigi sa house. OUr challenge now is to toilet train him as the school only accepts toilet trained kids in Pre nursery. We still have 4 mos to go. hehe
