Hi fellow nurses! Just passed the NLE this February off the December 2011 batch. Underwent ASHI training but still no IV Training, slots here in the province are limited and they only come to do IV training twice or once in a year. Our license/prc cards are not yet available so nowhere to start. Im thinking of applying as a school nurse so that I can make the most of my time. Kakatamad sa bahay, I feel unproductive.

Do hospitals in Metro M accept applicants with 0 experience? I mean, do we go through series of exams and the likes. Im from the province kasi so I wanna make sure Im armed with the right documents and knowledge prior to application.

Good day! :)

Ok lang naman na no experience pa kase you will undergo training/volunteerism naman talaga before you get hired. Although mahirap maghanap ng work dito sa Manila kase nga sobrang daming RNs. Tyagaan lang.

Yes, may mga series of exams din. :) Make sure you review the basics! Especially drug calculation =)

Hi! I'm not a nurse but My friend and I are teaching nurses how to earn a monthly part-time income of 25k or above.  It's our little way of helping nurses since many are still unemployed or are underpaid.  If you'd like to learn how and are willing to meet with us either face-to-face or online thru Skype, we teach it for free.  We work in the areas of Makati, Fort, Alabang, and Ortigas.  Message me if you're interested.

Hi, I just took the 2012 NLE. Now I am preparing to file for my NCLEX application but I don't know how I should go about it. My uncle will be fetching me this Oct, I'll be flying in the US as a tourist. I have no idea which state to apply for coz my uncle resides in California and the BON there is said to be pretty uptight and strict when it comes to requirements etc. Do you happen to know which states are more Pinoy-friendly esp those who can accommodate aspirants who share a similar situation. Any tips? Replies, greatly appreciated :)

I was advised by my two ate (who are currently working as nurses sa CA) to file sa vermont.. So i did (and fortunately nakapasa naman).. anyway pag magwowork naman na daw i can apply for reciprocity na lang para makapagpractice sa ibang state. :)

Thanks po sa mga replies. Nosebleed naman pala tong course natin. Daming alam. Anyway, may narinig po ako na sa Canada daw, 2 years working experience lang ang sinabi, di naman daw specified if it should be within the nursing field or what. I am not so sure about that information though

Hi mga colleagues! Its nice to see this thread. I'm a Registered nurse pero hindi ako nakapag work as nurse sa hospital. I'm now happily married but no kids. Napagusapan namin na maging housewife na lang ako since we are planning to go abroad. Ayoko kasing dumating yung time na magkalayo din kami just because of money.

 Goodluck Colleagues!

Hi is, anong pangalan ng agency na nag-assist sau for immigration sa canada, tnx a lot
