for me hindi na ok ang kinabuhayan cafe, madumi na masyado ang place, sayang hindi na mi maintain ni jay herrera ang place, nakapunta na ako dun 2x yung first visit ko amazed ako sa place nung pagbalik ko last september, dissappointed na kami sa itsura, may mga tagpi ng plastic ang kubo tapos may nangangagat pa na insekto nung natutulog na kami, yung dogs nila sumasampa sa dining table kaya madaming balahibo yung table cloth, ok sana ang concept pati food ni jay sarap nya talaga magluto kaso hindi na worth it puntahan unless i major repair nya ang place, kahit yung kubli spring hind na rin maganda, lumiit ang river because of quarrying, mas nag enjoy pa kami sa pandin lake, kahit yung mga bangkero namin dun sinabi nila na hindi na maganda kinabuhayan, mas recommended nila and sitio de amor.

For my husband's birthday, viaje del sol ang trip namen.

Sharing our experience at Sulyap Gallery Cafe in San Pablo, Laguna ---

Here's what we ordered:

Kulawong Puso ng Saging - roasted/grilled puso ng saging , then cooked in coconut milk. this dish is creamy/crunchy, with a hint of vinegar, and a few strips of grilled pork on top. my friends and i (including our super-meticulous chef friend) were BLOWN AWAY with this dish, sooobrang sarap! and what's amazing is very simple lang ang preparation. speechless talaga kami while eating the Kulawo. (not often that we're rendered speechless ;D ). i think the Kulawo dish alone, made the whole San Pablo trip so worth the effort.  ;)

If you liked kulawong puso ng saging, then you should definitely try Ugu Bigyan's Kulawo (if yu haven't had it yet). :)

sis, i really loved the kulawong puso ng saging! parang nakaka-excite naman yung sa Ugu Bigyan's, if it's even better than the one we had sa Sulyap :)

my friends and I are thinking of where to go sa weekend after Undas (Nov. 3-4), super-traffic kaya sa San Pablo/Quezon area?

hi sis! are there package tours for 2 for this? we don't have a car kasi and it would be too costly to rent naman.

hi mga sis! you may check also SACTUARIO de SAN PABLO. if you want a quick escape on your unhurried life better stay there even just for a night. i've been to csp and sda but for me the best b&b is sanctuario.
