@cristina_diche, i just think it would be useful to hear from someone who has had experience in that venue before i go there and spend gas and precious time and energy tapos hindi pala siya okay. that's the point of these forums anyway, diba? to give each other feedback, right? anyway, thanks for replying!

thanks! okay sana yung rate but my guest list is up to 150 pax. anyway, i'll call them and ask if they have a bigger function room. at least may idea na ako sa rates nila. i think reasonable naman so now i know it's worth pursuing. thanks again, workinmom! i'll update here if i get anywhere with them so that others who might be interested in the place can be informed as well.

Hi jpeach, had my son's baptismal reception at Joya Lofts and Towers. It's 7k for the function room and the manager told me 75pax can sit comfortably. But during my sons baptism we had 100guests, ok pa din naman meron pa area sa middle kung saan nag program and games. Then our photo booth naka setup outside which is okay din since nasulit pa din, we placed it near the entrance so kita nila.

Sure! No prob! What other areas are you considering pa ba? We might be able to suggest other venues pa.

Gusto ko sana Diliman, Scout Area, West/South Triangle, San Juan or Ortigas. Capacity: 100-150 pax. So far, we've checked out Crossroad77 and QC Sports Club. Crossroad77's Vision21 Function Room is at 6K/hour. Medyo over our budget.

Okay na sana yung package ng QC Sports Club na free venue for 50K food pero dami nila extra charges! Lahat ng ipapasok may corkage. Yung food carts nga may corkage na, may electricity charge pa. Per food cart yun ha! Yung electricity charge nila is per item like LCD projector, photo booth, food carts, etc. Ganon ba talaga? Akala ko ang mga electricity charge isang payment lang for the whole time na gagamitin mo yung venue like, for example, 1K for 4 hours. Also, sound system nila is not free, may rental fee. Sa dami ng extra charges, parang hindi din free yung venue and parang hindi sulit, lalo na medyo mataas din pricing ng food nila. Sayang, ang ganda pa naman sana.

Our next option is Grand Emerald (Cityland) Tower in Ortigas. My ninang offered to sponsor us there. Pero so far, I haven't found any feedback on the place. Would appreciate it if anyone can share their experience there. Thanks!

Hi jpeach. I'm not sure if joya and the loft are one and the same but what I know is that the loft costs 80k for 250pax. I have a friend who works at rockwell and i'll ask her para i could give you feedback. I'll get back to you on that. You might wanna consider columns makati too.

From what i remember is that it's 3K for 4hours but the place is good for 50pax lang daw. And wala pa syang chairs and tables.

Better ata if you call them din coz malamang meron din silang bigger function room. When i inquired kasi thru my friend i needed a place lang for less than 50pax.
