Parang ganyan intindi ko sa raket na yan. LOL!

Shempre may mga iba na walang paki sa statements nila kaya di napapansin na may charges pala.
ayun, pag di ka nga pumalag eh may instant insurance ka. Minsan hindi pa nga nabibigay yung policy sayto.
Basta nakabayad ka na lang, walang policy na pinanghahawakan.

Room ba hanap mo or bed space? Normally kase dito sa Dubai sis is bed space in which may ka-share ka na 3 or more girls in a room.  Depende rin ang price sa location na tutuluyan mo.  Mas ok sana kung may friend/relative ka na pwede ka matulungan once you arrive here dahil need mo pa mag job hunting.  Good luck and God bless

It's been a long time since I last posted here in GT.  Super dami rin kaseng nangyari sa life ko since I got here in Dubai last February 2010.  Pang Maalala Mo Kaya ang effect

Siguro naawa rin ang Diyos sa akin, unti unti naging maayos tapos heto na naman at nag-close ang company namin.. ayaw matapos ng mga pagsubok

My problem right now is yung passport ko, ipinangako naman ng wife ng Managing Director ko na she will arrive here again by mid-July with my passport para ma-cancel ang visa ko with them.  This conversation was last May 29th.  Nagpunta sha dito to tell me na hindi na nga magrerenew ng lease and license ang company namin and will just let it expire by end of July. 

At sinabi niya rin na yung boss ko ay hindi na nagpaparamdam sa kanila for almost a month na at napabayaan na rin ang mga biz nya sa Moscow at Brussels.  The thing is.. ang passport ko ay hawak ng boss ko at hindi na nga ma-locate ang whereabouts nya so paano pa kaya mare-retrieve ang passport ko? 

Nag-e-email ako almost everyday to get an update pero walang reply. 
I'm sure naman na babalik yun dito para rin maasikaso ang mga kelangan to terminate our lease/license.. problema lang is kung dala ba ang passport ko.

Tecom (FZ visa ako) also warned us na kapag hindi na-cancel visa ko on or before July 31st, automatically filed as absconder ako.

Marami na rin ang mga job offers kaso I can't start in any of them until my visa is cancelled so they can start in processing my new employment visa and eventually, residence visa.

Bakit nasa employer ang passport mo eh FZ visa ka pala. (Noon kasi hawak ko ang visa ko nung sa Internet city pa ako nagwork)

Anyhow, na inform mo ba yung TECOM about the situation? Kasi baka may magawa pa sila jan since valid license pa yung company.

OWWA member ka ba? Baka may maitulong sila sayo. Unfair na ma-tag ka as absconding kung wala naman sayo passport mo.

He went here last November at binraso nya akong ibigay ko sa kanya ang passport.  Pumayag lang ako nung pinirmahan niya ang ginawa kong letter indicating na my passport is in his possession.

Yup I informed Tecom already at ipinakita ko nga iyung letter/proof na bitbit nya sa Moscow kaso ang sabi sakin exhaust ko daw muna all efforts ko to communicate with them and wait for them 

Ang option na lang nakikita ko is to file a police case para magpapa-lost passport na lang ako.  Hassle nga lang sobra.  Hindi ko alam kung dapat na ba akong umaksyon or hintayin ko ang mid-July at ipagdasal na dala ng wife ng boss ko iyung passport.

Suggestion lang sis, send your boss or that wife an email, asking to send the passport to you within the week, or else you will file a report with the police about the lost passport. At least that way you informed them that you will be taking such action.

Ako kasi, hind ako makakapag-antay nang ganyan, I will need to do something. But of course it all depends on you, you know your situation better than any of us.

Unfair talaga yan sis, you trusted them all this time, and yet they haven’t been true to their words. It’s all empty promises, kaya mahirap nang magtiwala, and last minute saka ka pa lang kikilos.

I don’t understand din with TECOM, they wanted you to wait, and yet come July 31 automatic absconder ka.

Kaya after mag-lapse ang 1 week at wala silang reply, go to the police and file your report. It’s not your fault so you have nothing to be afraid of.  It’s a tedious process, but better start now than later, kasi ganun din naman pagdadaanan mo procedure eh, so why delay it pa.

print your emails to your boss at ipakita mo sa TECOM. Tell them you did everything you can.
Malay mo may magawa sila without you having to go to the police and file a report.

Finally, may nakausap akong mabait sa Licensing Department ng Tecom and listened to my woes. 
I filed a formal complaint (both written and on-line).  On Sunday, they will notify my boss & his wife regarding the situation and if incase they won't be able to send my passport within 3 days, they will file a court case against them.

Hay sana magkaron ng magandang outcome ito.

gurls, im digressing a bit from teh flow of discussion here.. do we have a considerable number of pinoy-owned businesses (both small and medium-scale) in Dubai? What're the usual nature of the enterprises? And what have you heard commonly that hinders or that they whine about with the conduct of their operations?

may nakapagtry na po ba sa inyo mag apply dito sa uae for B1/B2 US visa?  gusto ko sana mag apply kaya lang, wala akong makuhang tips sa pagkua dito sa uae. ano po ba dapat mga dala? and gaano katagl hinohold yung passport kapag approved? thanks in advance!

by the way, sa radisson hotel na kami magpabook sa birthday ng asawa ko. i will try to call them if ever pwede mag order na ng cake na nakaready na sa room before we check in. thanks sisses sa mga nagsuggest esp. to blackberryqueen

sisses, im planning na mag tourist visa sa abu dhabi soon. i have a friend there na tutulong sa akin. right now kasi nasa processing of documents stage pa lang ako. question naman, mahigpit na daw kasi sa airport natin ngayon. ano ang mas maganda magtotourist visa ako or tiyagaan na lang na mag-apply sa mga agencies? sa tingin nyo ano ang mas pros and cons ng dalawa? please advise naman mga sis wala talaga kasi ako idea eh. this is my first time to be out of the country if ever.

mga bro and sis need po ng help/advices. ill try to make the story short po.

yung husband ko po nagwowork F&B sa Movenpick sa dubai (ako nagresign na,same company din umuwi nako pinas) meron incedent na nangyari sa outlet nila involving money sa tips and pati sya nadamay kahit hindi naman sya gumagawa non although bukas ang mata at tenga nya sa nangyayari,may isang chinese na kasama nya nahuli nun 2nd week of june caught in the act pati sa cctv,so ayun terminate ni hr then investigations,then ayun lahat ng waiter sa outlet pinatawag at lahat sinibak including my husband,at ang nangyari nainvolve na din ang CID sa interrogation eh wala naman na talaga mapiga sa mga tao dun including hubby ko,ang final decision pinapirma sila 2weeks ago ng agreement na magbabayad ng kaukulang halaga (4k dhs pero 3k lang ang kaya namin) para macancel ang visa nila so eto naman ako dito sa pinas super utang na para makahanap ng 3,000dhs padala ko agad. last monday paid na po ang hubby ko,now ang sabi ng hr pagmimeetingan pa daw nila kung SASAGUTIN ng company yun ticket pauwi ng bansa, nasa kanila lahat ng id ng asawa ko at passport until now July 06. and until now wala pa din balita kelan sila papauwiin, otherwise may option sila na ang bibili ng ticket pauwi. sobrang problema at stress kami kasi wala ng makain un hubby ko dun sa accomo nila tinutulungan nalang ng ibang pinoy un hubby ko at wala na din naman ako money dito. everyday tawag sya sa hr at text lagi ang reply wait pa daw ang decision ng GM ng hotel kung sasagutin yung ticket. san kaya ako pwede lumapit na ahensya ng ofw about this po? salamat.
