Khalifa city A kami now, work kasi namin ni hubby outside city.. pero natira din ako sa TCA, the building behind Emirates Bank on Electra st.

Sis Bhey ang layo mo naman sa city!  We tried scouting for a studio dyan sa Khalifa City A, pero we found the place parang malungkot and a bit far, I must say. Tho both hubby and I drive naman, siguro nasanay na lang kami sa city, where everything is just a walk away.

December last year lang kami nag-move sa Khalifa A.. Namiss ko na nga rin ang city, you're right everything is just a walk away. Can't go out pa naman without hubby coz cya lang ang nagddrive...  Pero pag napupunta namin kami ng city, parang hindi na rin ako sanay - the traffic, parking and parang ang daming tao hehe.. Few reasons we decided to moved sa Khalifa City A - 1. office ko is somewhere in Umm Al Nar while hubby naman sa Mahwi so very convenient for us kasi malapit na lang kami; 2. cheaper and bigger and place namin dito, very expensive kasi ngayon ang rent sa city eh  ; 3. we have a baby so we thought of having a bigger place would be a great idea, malaki laki ang nalalakaran nya

So far sanay naman na kami saka with our 15 month old little boy, walang lungkot lungkot haha

Hi po, anyone here na nakakaalam ng rules sa Dubai pagdating sa loans? Like...let's say na terminate ka ng company mo, eh may loan ka sa bank? magiging void na ba loan mo if may letter of termination ka na from your company certifying na terminated ka na talaga? Thanks in advance.

Hi huit! No, your termination from employment will not make your bank loan void. Your liability will continue regardless of your employment status. In my co-employee's case, she was compelled by the bank to settle the balance in full, after deducting whatever amount in her account including her end-of-service entitlement. Since she has no capacity to pay, she requested the bank to defer the monthly payment until she find another job.

Sis bhey, in your case tama lang na sa Khalifa City kayo.. Ang saya talaga ng buhay pag me bata!  You really need a bigger space pag me kid, so worth it dyan sa Khalifa city.

Mahal talaga dito sa city, nakakainis pag nako-compare ko yng annual rent namin, parang katumbas ng 2 BR sa Khalifa, at lalo na sa Dubai.

sis, na medical na ako kahapon grabe it took me one whole day to do that sa Al Noor Hospital...

di ko alam na ganyan pala ka strikto sa AUH pagdating sa medical for residence visa, sa DXB kasi, blood test lang saka X-ray tapos na...

sa AUH pala, complete lab test, urine test, eye test, hearing test, ECG, Spyro test, saka complete physical exam, naloka ako dahil akala ko it will only take a couple of hours or so... anyway, i was also surprised when required din nila police clearance, which is totally new to me...

but then again, i was assuming AUH could be governed by a different labor law and visa processing proceedures than in DXB...

^^Nung nasa city kami, room lang ang rent namin.. yung monthly namin sa city dati, monthly na ng studio unit namin dito sa Khalifa City... We also checked some units sa Dubai, yung malapit sa Ibn Batuta mall lang, very nice ang units nila and cheap nga..

this is very interesting sis kasi hindi naman namin na-experienced yan.. baka kasi ZADCO is a government company kaya they are more strict compared sa private companies?  that's the only reason i can think of eh... blood test and x ray rin lang ako non...

good to know that, sis, 'coz at least i had the comparison of the procedures...

i don't know why i had to undergo such a long and tedious process 'coz the HR (which is by the way a local who could hardly explain to me the process), just told me to go to Al Noor and present these documents!

i just hope everything will turn out well lang dun sa results ko...

rising sun, nung ako blood test at xray lang din. kaya lang 1week yata nagkapasa yung pinagtusukan sakin, grabe! binigla niya yung pagkuha ng dugo.

grabe sa NAIA kanina dami kong narinig na offload sa plane ng cathay na mga visit visa / tourist visa kahit sponsored ka pa ng kapatid. grabe na talaga sila...hay.

Where did you hear this from, sis? If this is true, it's obviously a knee-jerk reaction for the recent execution of the drug mules. Kawawa naman yung mga na-offload, specially those with prospective employers waiting for them na.

sis yung pinsan ko na offload, kumpleto papeles nya and meron naman syang affidavit of support from her sister dito.

wala talagang magagawa dahil sinabi ng IO insufficient daw fund nya pero may show money naman syang dala. hay.

kanina nakasakay na rin sya sa wakas, at surprisingly nakalusot sya ng immigration na walang tanung tanung. hay. very random!

gulo nila sis...dala na rin siguro ng issue about drug trafficking at mga pinoy na overstaying sa qatar na na deport.

minsan kasi nadadamay lang tayo sa mga pagpapasaway ng ibang kabayan natin. hay.

Most likely sis, preventive measures yan against drug and human trafficking. Problema sa mga officials natin, they're so inconsistent! Ngayon lang yan kasi hot news yung drug mules, kaya they're extremely strict na wala na sa lugar.
