anyone tried to use POBOX when shopping online?

I've always used JAC when online shopping from US sites. My favorite sites would be Amazon, Nordstrom and KingSizeDirect - they accept PH cc. I also buy from Kenneth Cole and from Coach Factory - but used non-PH cc kasi di sila tumatanggap ng PH cc.

I also buy from ASOS, they have free worldwide shipping. Through post office nga lang, so i usually buy one item at a time (and usually yung naka-sale) para mababa lang ang value. Otherwise, tatagain ka sa taxes sa post office. And average time to receive the item via post office is usually 1-1.5 months.

Does anybody know a forwarding company (similar to JAC) in UK or EU?  May mga website kasi that only delivers in US & EU.  Thanks!

^Oo nga eh, gusto ko din ng nagdedeliver from UK. Gusto ko kasi magpa-ship ng kitchen equipment without having to worry about having a transformer na pang-convert ng 110v to 220v. 220v din kasi yata sa UK, similar to us.

^Sis pag ganyan ba hindi na kailangan mag-go through sa Philippine Post Office/customs? Dami ko kasi nababasa na horror stories tungkol sa PhilPost, kaya gusto ko sana yung sea freight na fixed na ang bayad.

May kakilala ako, bumili ng hardcover book sa Amazon US and regular shipping to the Philippines. Kasing mahal ng libro yung pinabayad sa kanya sa customs/post office.

ive finallly tried asos.com it took about 5 weeks for me to get the post office notice. the packaging is great, nakabox yung dress

the box was opened when it was given to me pero wala namang nawala. 2 items lang naman binili ko. sakto pati size na nakuha ko hehe so happy!

^re: ASOS - ok bumili dun di ba? Ok din naman quality ng items kahit mura. Almost once a month ako me binibili sa asos - pakonti-konti ang bili (one-two items) para makaiwas sa taxes sa post office, hehe..

And speaking of post office, php50 na yung fee nila sa pag pickup ng package, increased from dati na php40.

i like buying from amazon uk din. first time ko natry magpaship from london to johnny air new york then ship dito sa atin. successful naman ang bilis dumating ng package. before din through philpost ko kinukuha pag sa london ako nag shop online, grabe lang katagal. umaabot ng two months. pero yung last transaction ko using johnny air i received the items agad wala pang two weeks.

May na mention na ba na loose cargo shipper from UK to manila? Super dami ko gusto bilhin but i cant fit everything in my luggage and i will be overweight everytime i cone home to manila.

I know manila forwarder does ship to manila from the US and UK but i'm not sure how fast or how much

^sis, you have a US billing address? Kasi I was to shop online and have it shipped at my brother's address in PA sana but upon checkout (macy's and tiffany and co) both says I need to have a US billing address to ship in the US. Or do you know how to get around it? TIA

Try MYUS.COM or COMGATEWAY.COM. For minimal fees,they can buy things for you using a US CC with a US billing address.I use MYUS.COM myself, avail of the premier account, it has more perks.80 USD annually lang. I bought from Neiman Marcus but didnt need a US CC, my Aussie-issued one was good to use naman.HTH

for the UK, there is borderlinx but i tried a mock estimation for a 30GBP worth items for 3kg and nasa 4k+ na

Nakakainis. Bloomingdales, Macy's and ULTA would not accept my husband's AMEX card eh it has a US billing address.
Amex emailed hubby making sure those are not fraud purchases so we called them and we thought okay na. Upon check
out wala parin. Hubby said maybe it's Bloomingdales and Macy's system daw na they are careful of accepting payments, na even
with a US billing address, my IP address naman daw is in the Philippines. I wanna buy some items here kasi may freebies.

Oh well sa maccosmetics.com they accepted my payment
sa walmart, sa drugstore.com etc..
