^sis, are you asking if JAC can send items to Manila from Amazon? Or Amazon sending items direct to Manila? For both questions, yes they can. I have tried both and no problems naman. Though for Amazon there are certain items that they can not ship internationally.

haven't tried online shopping abroad but planning to buy some items.. cheaper sya pero worry ko baka mataas yung tax pagdating dito and lumabas mas mahal pa maging total ng items ko sabi sa site, they ship Fedex express and UPS.. pano ba malalaman if madedeliver sa house ko or sa post office (where i'll pay tax pa)? if dineliver ba sa house,wala na ko taxes na babayaran?

^sis US ba siya? you can use johnny air sis, they charge minimal shipping fee lang naman. pag direct kasi sa store then sila papadala dito, often than not, may customs fee. and minsan mas mahal pa dun sa item na binili mo yung fee nila

^hi sis ako ulit lol, kahit door to door ipadala sis, based on my experience, may tax parin. I bought dresses before, small package lang siya ha, I paid 2k plus for customs fee! if US location nung online store, better if idaan mo nalang thru johhny air.

question lang pala, kasi sa amazon may import deposit? when i read it, parang that's their estimate cost of taxes & what they are gonna use to pay for the customs tax when it reaches Manila? does that mean wala na kami babayaran sa Customs coz nakasama na sa binayaran namin yun when we paid for the items? thanks!

Bought clothes for my kids a month ago from Carter's and Ralph Lauren-- used my Philippine-issued CC on both transactions. I put na lang my Aunt's address sa billing address and OK na sya, di naman ako nagka-problema.

I ended up buying here nalang. About 1k pesos difference lang e (manila shop price vs. online price + shipping + import deposit in amazon), worry namin baka may add'l tax pa pagdating dito & more than 1k pa i-charge, eh di lugi pa kami haaay...

Ask ko lang mga sis, anong mga online shops (US/UK) ang nag-aaccept ng locally issued cards or paypal with philippine address. Nagtry ako sa Forever 21 using Paypal pero declined.

^nakapag try narin ako couple of times sa forever 21 successful naman. though nadecline ako twice when i tried using my hsbc card. but pag bdo credit card gamit ko ok naman. i usually have it shipped via johnny air.

Hi, I've been eyeing an item online. They offer free shipping worldwide, problem is they do not ship via PO box so I cannot use JAC. I do not have any close relative in the US. Around P5k yung item, do you girls have any idea how much would the postal office charge? Like all of you, ayaw ko rin ng malaking babayaran, does anyone have an idea how to go around this? Good thread. I realized mas makakatipid ako dito than going through pre-orders here. Ano ba advantage ng Johnny Air Cargo sa Pobox.ph? Besides sa mas mabilis si JAC.  I'm more concerned on fees, no figures kc sa site ng JAC. Sa Pobox.ph naman $5 and un corresponding price ng boxes. $30 being the lowest sa Pobox.ph. I think it depends on the weight sa JAC. Consolidation problem comes in kasi I plan to purchase from different sellers in Amazon.com and I don't like the idea. The formula for getting the shipping cost (inclusive of taxes) is
weight (in pounds) x cost per pound + handling fee = shipping cost. I think it's $5-7 (cost per pound). Sabi sa blog they offer consolidation service for $20.
And if you don't have a credit card of your own, you can have them shop for you using their card for $25.
Much better if you're going to wait for US Holidays para madaming sale.

Pobox, iniipon nila ang mga item na gusto mong ipabox. Per box ang rate nila kahit mabigat yan.
Jac naman 1 incoming delivery = 1 transaction....if you want nilang ipunin yung mga pinamili mo may extra charge at per weight and volume sila.

Hi sis, how much did you pay at JAC for your f21 purchases? How do f21 ship your purchases pala, in a box ba? Kase yung sa JAC its US $ 5.99 per lb + $5.00 handling charge right? Approx ilan lbs kaya for 5 pcs of assorted clothes? I have about 5 pcs of clothes in my f21 cart, Im almost close to finalizing it.  hehe

Medyo bummed kase ako in my first purchase shipped thru JAC. Just picked it up last wednesday from JAC Mega. My purchase amounting to $33 (just pens/pencils/notepads as giveaways for my son's 7th bday) I was charged almost the same $33 for shipping!

Has anyone tried LBC? My friends told me they only charge $55 for the regular-sized balikbayan box, no matter what the weight. I don't know if they have a service like JAC where you can have the items shipped to their US address, though. Does ayone know? Can't seem to find the info on their site.
