it's been a while since i posted in this thread..

i have submitted petition for my mother (i'm a USC) PD nya is nov 2010. interview date na nya this coming nov 9 2011.. katatapos nya lang mag pa medical sa st lukes last week..
dun sa letter ang nakalagay received na lahat ng documents (birth certs. NBI. marriage certs. etc..) kelangan pa ba nya dalhin yung mga photocopy nun even if they say na received and complete na sya sa docs. also, ano ba ang tinatanong sa interview? medyo ninerbiyos mom ko though i said there's really nothing to get worried about, ok na naman lahat ng documents nya.. do they ask questions like what will she do when she gets here sa US?? etc.. questions like that..

isa pa, after the interview and hopefully ok naman.. does the embassy get her passport?? kase she plans to go to HK 2 weeks after her interview date.. or will the embassy hold her passport..
 pag ok ang lahat, until when can she stay in manila pa?? she says she wants to come here in the US sa january 2012 na lang if possible kase madami pa syang aayusin before she migrates here..

1. puwede niya dalhin bilang reference niya or review reviewhin niya habang hinihintay niya interview niya kasi minsan dun nagbebase ng tanong. hiningi pala sa akin yung 1040 ng husband ko kasi wala sila kopya nun pero kung complete naman na yung docs niyo no worries.
2. mga simple lang tanong nila like maybe kung saan ka nagwowork, birthday mo, etc. kasi ako petitioned by husband so ang tanong sa akin kung saan nagwowork asawa ko, birthday niya, when kami ikinasal, etc.
3. yup kinukuha yung passport then ipapadala via 2go sa address niyo kasama na yung packet and passport with visa - usually one week processing. pero puwede niya kausapin consul kung puwede iexpedite processing ng visa niya as long as she gives a valid reason siguro.
4. validity of visa is six months.

nung interview namin, family based petition (my father petitioned kids and spouse) dala namin lahat ng copy ng documents and a ton of pictures and letters, pero hindi naman hiningi ng consul. about the questions naman, mga basic lang... like ilang taon ng nagwwork dad ko dun, anong work dun, ilang taon ng married, tuwing kailan umuuwi, saan kami titira pagpunta namin dun, bakit gusto naming tumira dun, mga simple things lang naman. our interview was 8yrs ago. with in a week nakuha namin yung visa and its valid for 6mos. dati kasi sa amin separate p ang visa kesa s passport so hindi kinuha, hindi k n lang sure ngayon.

  so this means she can even leave later pa than january 2012. tama ba ako? if validity of the visa is 6 months pa naman.

Hi mga sis I just call the NVC and it says "The beneficiary will receive further information within the next 90 days" what does it mean? kc syempre i dont have any false hope. does it mean isesend na nila skin yung choice of agent form? meron po ba kyong feedback from this message?

yup pwede pa later than jan 2012. in my case, expiration ng visa ko was june 13th, I left the Philippines june 12th kasi inintay ko pa visa ng baby ko para sabay kami umalis.

i hope someone can answer my query... Say I have a 10 year multiple visit visa which I acquired before I married my US citizen husband. After we got married he files for a petition/CR1 , will they automatically cancel my 10 year multiple visit visa?

My fiance kasi is a US born citizen, were getting married Aug 2012 in Manila. My 10 year multiple entry visit visa naman expired a month ago. So I was thinking of renewing my visa through the VRP before we get married so I can freely enter/ exit the United States. But if they will cancel it lang if he files for CR visa after we get married then I'll just choose between the K-1 or CR-1 visa.

How long does it take for the CR1 visa to be approved?

Ask ko [textspeak!] po...puede ba ako mag apply ng Tourist Visa di pa naman ako na file ng hubby kong LPR. I want to visit my little girl sana... kasi naisama na sya ng hubby ko nung pumunta na sila dun last 2009. Meron ba conflict yun if I will apply for a Tourist Visa now? Kailangan po ba ng request letter coming from my family or mag-apply na lang ako? Thanks much ahead...
