sis, brother ko was diagnosed with this when he was still in highschool. Pina-opera sya ng Mom ko. Sorry don't know how much inabot yung cost ng operation nya. He now has two kids.

Hi sis. nagpaopera ang hubby ko last May 2010 under Dr. Macalalag sa Chinese General Hospital. 6 years na kaming mag-asawa, kaya lang last year lang namin napagdesisyunan na mag work out na kasi habang tumatanda pala ang lalaking may varicocele ay pababa na ng pababa yung sperm count niya hanggang sa maging baog na sya. kaya nag-decide na kaming magpaopera sya habang may tsansa pa si hubby na makagawa ng baby. At itinadhana pa last year na makilala namin si Dr. Macalalag, kasi super bait nya at super makatao sya sa professional fee nya. Alam nya kasing pareho lang kaming ordinaryong empleyado ni hubby kaya pwede syang kausaping about sa fee. Sa ngayon, di pa rin kami nakakabuo, may mga pinaiinom na gamot sa kanya si Doc para madagdagan at maging malusog ang mga sperm cells nya.

hi new here, my husband had it and got operated (bilateral) 2008 sa st. lukes under Dr. Morales. 12yrs TTC  na cover ng health card namin kasi sumasakit kaya na discover na meron sya. i dont remember yung exact amount pero mga 200k+++ inabot kasi nga both side. after a year my slight improvement. hope this info can help, godbless.

hi sis, hubby ko naman was operated on varicocele (bilateral) year 2004 pa, at urology center of the phils under dr steve lim of st lukes qc. around 50k ang nagastos namin noon.  pwede ka mag inquire sa kanila thru their website http://ucpionline.com

ours was not a good experience, kasi after the operation and several repeat seminalysis, hindi nag improve sperm ni hubby, and our doctor then left us na lang with his last words na ok na yang count mo isa lang naman ang kailangan e. then 2yrs ago under a different urologist nagpa-doppler ultrasound ulet and unfortunately meron pa rin varicocele. just want to remind that operation is only an option, not the cure.

^didnt mean to discourage you, sis. just dont want you to expect so much after the operation, like us before. sobra kasing high hopes kami noon and the doctor never even mentioned na hindi pala assurance ang magpaopera. at least prepared sana kami.

if you have the means, try nyo paopera. marami rin naman success stories.
napreggy ako yr2007 kaso i miscarried naman. so dont lose hope sis, magugulat ka na lang. although kami wala pa rin til now, try and try lang. right now hubby's taking megamen multi vitamins. his last SA showed his sperm improve kahit konti but at least may improvement next month try namin ulit pa-iui. pero sana hindi na umabot at mapreggy na ko this month

hi sis,we've been ttc for 2 yrs din..lahat ng work out sa dr ginawa na din namin until machk na ndi ok yung semen analysis ni hubby.nirefer sya ng ob ko sa urolgist pra machk if may varicocele sya,the urologist found out na meron pra daw sya varicose vains ang sabi pa uro na inborn daw yun.yun daw reason kya ndi maganda produstion ng semen ni hubby..medjo nadedepress na kami kasi pcos din ako,sabi ng uro possible na ipaopera pero need pa muna magpa scrotal ultrasound pra machk din kung malalaki n yung veins..hindi namin ginawa sabi ni hubby magw8 muna kami.1 month kami ndi nagpachk sa dr,walang laboratory no medicines as in lahat.wala akong ginawa every night kundi kundi magpray kay st pio na bigyana kami ng baby,and if ibigay [textspeak!] nya sana healthy and normal baby..hindi na ako nag expect the following month,until one day ndi ako nakapsok sa office kasi sobrang sma ng pakiramdam ko i was thinking na bka yung vertigo ko umuulit so deadma lang kami.the day na i was expecting my period no show sya,deadma ap din ako kasi minsan [textspeak!] 2 wks na ala pa din..the 4th day ndi na ako mapakali bumili ako ng preg test hindi alam ni hubby after ilang mins nagdouble line sya sis finally after 2 yrs and 3 mos im 25 wks preggy !god is alaways good just keep on waiting and praying!

Congrats Babydust08!! Sana kami rin ni hubby magka-baby na rin. 7 years na kami, pero last year lang nag-decide si hubby na magpaopera, kinakabahan din kasi sya. May nagsabi kasing doctor sa kanya na irreversible daw yung operasyon, kaya natakot sya na baka pumalpak yung operasyon at kung ano pa ang mangyari sa kanya. Dami rin kaming doktor na napagtanungan about sa kaso nya, hanggang sa makilala namin si Dr. Macalalag. Sya ang nag-opera sa hubby ko last year at sa ngayon pinaiinom na lang sya ng mga gamot para lalong madagdagan ang sperm nya. May problema pa nga sya sa liquifaction nya at mataas din ang prolactin nya na nakapagpapababa ng sperm. Sana nga itong taon na to magkababy na rin rin kami. Sana lahat tayong gustong magkababy ay mabiyayaan na ni God. Good luck sa ating lahat:)

yes mga sisses,in GOD's perfect time!alam ni GOD kung kelan nya ibibigay yun.. advice lang, before ako mapreggy,hubby do some research reg sa varicocle meron kami nabasa about sa exercise,ipatry nyo sa hubbies nyo na ielevate yung feet nya sa wall ng mga 30 mins then magrest, if possible magboxer na [textspeak!] pag nsa house magshower every night and do some ice pack, meaning maglalagay si hubby ng ice pack sa "balls" nya pra malamig..hehe,nakaka help daw kasi yun sa blood circulation..i don't know mga sisses pero effective eh!hehe..goodluck!
