Treadmill or stationary bike?
« on: January 23, 2011, 04:15:23 am »
Mga sis pa help naman. Balak ko sana bumili either treadmill or stationary bike kasi im so worried na about my health. buong maghapon kasi ako nakaupo sa bahay kasi wahm. im so bloated na, in fact i gave birth last august pero tiyan ko parang 5-mo preggy pa rin  :-[  wala akong ibang form of exercise, kahit nga palakad-lakad lang sa labas di ko na magawa.

ano kaya mas mainam sa dalawa? treadmill o bike?

TIA..

when I used to go to the gym, I found that I stayed on the bike more than on the treadmill... kasi nahihilo ako sa treadmill :(

pero I know treadmill burns more calories than the bike in the same amount of time

@TS: stick with treadmill, more gains for lesser amount of time. You can burn more even when you just walk briskly unlike with your other option. As always and the most crucial thing with any exercise is to do it REGULARLY. Try logging some miles on the treadmill for abt 5mins or so then gradually lengthen and increase  the time and pace, respectively as you progress. And do it everyday, if possible. Yun talaga kasi eh, stick to the basics ;)

consult a doctor first. it also depends on your BMI kasi. a treadmill can injure your knees, although mas mabilis siya makaburn ng calories.

I prefer the spinner bike coz you can do more with it, you can sit, stand and do a standing climb position and you can always keep changing your level by turning the wheel.

as for number of calories burned it doesnt really make a difference whether you're running or cycling or swimming or dancing--what matters is the intensity and length of your exercise.

From what i know, gold's gym glorietta is selling their old spinner bikes now.

Nabo-bore ako sa Treadmill sa bahay. And parang mabilis ako mapagod. Feeling ko mas maganda yung stationary bike.

I have both-bike and tredmill. Any form of exercise is better than nothing

I prefer the treadmill. ;)

I'm also thinking of buying a treadmill or bike. Mukang mahirap magdecide. Sa price ba almost the same lang? Thanks  :)
