^ Actually 20% higher ang rate namin sa permanent staff. That for me is more than enough to shoulder my PhilHealth and SSS contributions (around P320 lang ang binabayaran ko for both monthly).

Hindi naman kami no work, no pay. Wala kaming leave pero pwede naman mag-absent/palit araw nang walang kaltas. Okay na rin.

^Thanks for the info sis! Yung PhilHealth and SSS, kayo ba nagfafile niyan or they do it for you (ikaw lang magfill out ng forms)? Hmm. I wanna propose this for our Unit. Ang kinaganda lang talaga if you're contractual, hindi ka talaga bound by rules (yung time in time out, etc.).

^ We pay those by ourselves since voluntary 'yung type of contribution namin. Attachment 'yung receipts sa payroll by the end of each month. Sa amin sis we still follow the rules of the institution including 'yang time in time out, uniforms, etc. Parang regular staff din minus the benefits.

Most government offices naman I think have contractors talaga dahil iilan lang ang plantilla tapos ang daming workload.

hi sisses! how's the benefits in your agencies? sa amin, pahirapan na ang pagbigay at hindi na binibigay lahat kahit nakalagay naman sa CBA/CNA. I hope the new president/administration will take good care of us, the government employees.

^same here sis. Eversince PNoy took over, parang nabasura na yung mga benefits/entitlements namin as indicated sa CBA/CNA natin, or rather, wala na actually naiimplement. Nakakainis nga kasi they (admin) are all about tuwid na daan tapos dami rin namang corruptions na nangyayari diba. Yung salary increase natin thanks to GMA pa, pero si PNoy parang against, especially si Abad.

^tama ka sis. Dapat talaga magkaroon ng forum or kahit FB page man lang kung saan lahat ng hindi magagandang nangyayari sa govt eh ma ipost. Baka sakaling makarating sa kung sino dapat ang marating ng hindi nafi filter. Baka sakaling magawan ng solution.

Regarding sa job orders, hindi ko maintindihan bakit hindi sila makapag create ng new permanent position items eh pinapasahod pa rin naman ang mga JOs na ito, nilalagyan ng budget, etc. Kahit sa ofc namin, nagkalat ang JOs. Pati iyong ibang casuals namin na ilang taon ng nasa service, ng mag iba ang entry requirements, naging JOs na lang.

^parang masyadong censored kasi ngayon sis on govt employee grievances. Alam ko may mga ibang agencies nga hindi nakakakuha/claim ng PBB nila kasi masyadong tasking ang documentary requirements. Dito lang sa amin, ang PBB ng previous year may lag na more than 6 months. And the entire system ng PBB itself IMHO ay hindi healthy/counter productive (nagiging palakasan kasi most of the time).

Dito sa ofis namin, fiesta ang mga JO. Yes mataas ang sweldo yata nila, PLUS they can claim OT pay, rental allowances and most of time kasama sa mga out of country exhibits/road shows.

About PBB, yes, hindi sya healthy at hindi totoo.

Nakakalungkot ang pinansyal na sitwasyon nating mga emplayado ng gobyerno ngayon. Na-budget na kasi natin yung mga matatanggap dapat kasi naka-schedule naman yung pagbigay tapos biglang babawasan or tatanggalin. Hindi mo naman yun ninakaw o hiningi sa hindi magandang paraan. Nasa papel naman yun na napag-usapang matatanggap mo talaga.

nagrerequest kami dati ng rice allowance as mandated sa CBA/CNA namin. DBM thumbed it down. to think na other offices naman are getting theirs.

Tapos yung monetary benefits naman are nothing compared to the huge amounts sa DAP na illegal. Hay naku. Nakakadismaya talaga.

kami never pa nagqualify for pbb. hahaha. ang usap usapan, masyado daw kasi matataas ang targets kaya di namimeet. so bababaan daw ang targets 

nagulat ako sa department namin, the number of service providers exceed permanent employees pala.

Sa amin naman, yung hindi admin items (research items) ginagamit sa admin. So, research ang item pero admin work ang ginagawa. Tuloy, ang researchers namin puro JO.

Hi sissies! Tagal ko din nakasilip ulit dito. I resigned from work last June 2014 dahil i have a daughter who was diagnosed with mild cerebral atrophy at 5 months. Sayang sana kasi almost 19 years in service din ako sa LGU.

Tanong ko sana mga sis, kasi I lost my UMID pwede pa kaya ako maka kuha ng ID kahit not connected na ako sa work. For future purposes sana mga sis kasi baka kakailangan if meron ako iprocess sa GSIS.

@artemis26 - JOs in your office claim OT pays? That is not authorized. Bawal po mag-claim ng OT pay ang JOs sa office namin kasi walang employer-employee relationshio. I think there's an Executive Order regarding that. Kaya nga nauso ang Compensatory Time Off kasi iniiwasan na magbayad ng OT pay kahit sa regular employees. Our resident auditor is very strict about that kaya I found it odd when you mentioned that JOs are getting paid with OT.

As for rice allowance, as far as I know, only those incumbents as of June 30, 1989 are entitled to receive  rice allowance pursuant to the Salary Standardization Laww III (not sure). Kasi yung tita ko na matagal na in service may rice allowance, tapos ako na bago pa lang wala. Yan ang unang napansin ko. Akala ko meron rin ako. Huhuhu

Anyway, rumors are circulating na mayroong salary increase next year. Sana nga meron.  Nakakaiyak ang salary ko compared sa mga friends ko in private sector tapos sila, halos walang ginagawa sa office.

Oh and I do think that the P5 K Peformance Incentive will be raised to one month worth of salary. Kaso subject daw sa guideline (hay naku, di ba across the board yan? Bakit may limitations pa?).

^sis, anong 5k performance incentive ang gagawing equal to 1-mo salary? under pa rin ito ng Perf Mgmt System? or ito yung binibigay n (Pres) Bonus?

Dito kasi every since wala naman rice allowance, last year lang nag-file ng claim ang office hoping na ma-approve pero hindi naman sucessful.

Sana nga meron salary increase, pero I dont think so. Im sure nag hohoard na ng funds agn DBM/Abad for election..hehe

^Sis, yung Performance Enhancement Incentive. Dati (2011, I think?) P10K siya (known as PNoy bonus before). Tapos, noong inimplement ang PBB (2012), Naging P5K na lang siya. Then, for 2015, rumors are circulating that there is a so-called 14th month pay. But in reality, Performance Enhancement Incentive siya na tinaas from P5k to one month worth ng salary. I think it was mentioned in the General Appropriations Act for FY 2016 pero subject sa guidelines. 

As for rice allowance, mahirap na magpa-approve ng additional incentive ngayon dahil sa Salary Standardization Law (SSL). Parang ang dating, kung ano ang benefits isang agency  dapat similar lang sa lahat ng government agencies, bawal na may extra incentive sila compared sa iba (unless, binibigay na ang incentive na iyon sa employee who was employed prior to June 30, 1989, kasi may batas for non-diminution of benefits). SO yeah, yung mga relatives ko na nasa government service na before 1989 pa, may mga rice allowance, etc. pa sila. Ang mga bagong employees, kung ano lang provided sa SSL, yun lang ang meron.

alam ko pag casual, contractual pero may employer-employee relationship meaning may matatanggap ka na benefits like sa mga regular. as per contractual and job order, wala employer-employee relationship so wala ka matatanggap na benefits. sa amin ang contractual may fixed na monthly salary, mababawasan lang ang sweldo pag nag-absent. sa job order naman, ang sweldo ay magbabased sa oras or araw na ipinasok mo. so pag holiday wala kang marereceive na sweldo kasi di ka naman pumasok.

hindi naman lahat ng regular sa gobyerno eh nakapasok dahil sa may backer, usually sa amin, pag contractual o job order basta may eligibility, may chance ka mapermanent as long as may vacancy (syempre hehe) and qualified ka sa requirements. usually vacancy dahil sa may nagretire, umalis sa agency or may napromote kaya navacant yung position. pwede magrequest ng additional plantilla position pero sobrang dami ng justifications at medyo matagal. kaya kadalasan contractuals na lang nahihire kasi mahirap magrequest ng plantilla esp. ngayon na may rationalization pa.

Mga sis na kapwag kawani Anong balita sa pag-grant sa inyo ng PEI or yung sinasabing 14th month (if pasok sa guidelines)? Kasi sabi not earlier than JUne 1, so people here are expecting na mga June 2 ibibigay na haha!
