Hi mga sis! May ganitong thread pala. Recently lang ako naging permanent government employee, dati job order lang kasi. Hehe. Question lang, magpupunta kasi akong Singapore for a conference (official). What are the documents I need to bring as a government employee aside from the travel authority?

Also, di ba exempt ako sa travel tax? How do I go about that? Do I go to the counter or diretso na sa check-in? Hehe.

Hopefully, may sumagot pa.

^ang naaalala ko lang dala ko is yung travel authority and passport.. and yes di ako nagbayad ng travel tax.. terminal fee lang ang binayaran ko.

after paying the terminal fee sa immigration na agad ako pumila then gave my passport & travel authority

hi mga sis! may nabasa kasi ako sa thread na to pag mag travel abroad need pa ng clearance? actually.. bothered ako. di sumagi sa kokote ko yun haha. anyway im going to hk kasi for 3 days lang vacation lang talaga, hindi naman siguro magtatanung kung ano work ko? is it safe na di ko na ideclare na govt employee ako? dadaan pa ba sa immigration? pls help

and wala naman ako sinabihan sa office, im going with my friends.

^^ yes kailangan talaga mo travel order .. pero nung nagtravel ako di ko dineclare govt employee ako secret din kasi swerte ko lang di ako tinanong bout work. yun ibang immigration hinihingan pa daw id kung san work.. sis yun nilagay mo sa sc na hiring me age limit ba at sure na sa permanent position thanks sa reply

sosichill, for permanent employees lang ang travel order. Ingat sa hindi pagdedeclare na government employee ka. I have a coworker na hindi niya rin dineclare na sa government siya tapos hinanapan siya ng work I.D., ayun, na-offload.

There would be no problem naman if you declared that you're working for the government. I've been out of the country several times na, ang nilalagay ko sa occupation "Service Contractor" tapos kapag tinanong ako kung saan ako Service Contractor, dun ko lang sinasabi 'yung agency. Nasa I.D. naman kasi 'yung status of appointment.

Kapag 'di mo kasi dineclare, sis, automatic na iisipin ng IO maghahanap ka ng work kaya 'di mo sinabi totoo mong trabaho dito sa 'Pinas.

soon to be a government employee here wait na lang oath taking, yun nga lang indefinite pa ang date ng oath taking, pnp-nup yung inapplyan ko. medyo mababa lang yung salary (7) pero keribels na atleast permanent naman.
