Please suggest "new" entertainment for first birthday party

I need some suggestions for new kinds of entertainment for my baby's party.  I have 2 older kids and we have already had the puppet show, bubble show and party host for their previous parties (5 years ago).  I want to do something different since the guests will be the same people I invited for my other children's birthdays.  The theme is Sesame Street, for sure we will be getting a mascot.  What other fun entertainment or activities can you suggest? 

I was thinking of a Gyboree party (had that for my daughter 6 years ago), but I remember they don't allow older kids to participate.  The ages of the kids that will be invited are between 1 to 10 years old.

How about a balloon show?  I'm getting Jiggles for my daughter's 3rd bday this coming weekend.  For her past 2 birthdays, we had Wanlu/Apollo and Flooch.  For her 3rd, I wanted something different.  No magic show na muna para hindi nakakasawa.

has anyone tried The Amazing Bubble Show of Clowning Around? parang maganda, i am tempted to get them as additional entertainment on my daughter's party. sana someone has feedback. thank you mga sis!

kami din, we've had  magicians,dog show, puppet show,bubbles in the past... so now, try namin ang acrobat show sa 7th bday ng son ko next month...

try nyo rin ang unicycle show and and animal show (wild animals with petting)

I like jiggles but unfortunately she was booked na for my daughter's bday. Not a huge loss, wanted to get her for her balloon creations only to amuse my adult guests.

I have read on other threads here a science/mad scientist show. I think that's nice and at least educational. I would not have wild animals around kids, or maybe i'm just paranoid.

Why not setup an arts and crafts type of party? Make your own cupcake/gingerbread house, etc.

I find parties here to be too much into paid entertainment. Kids just end up watching the entertainment lang or end up competing with each other in games. Hosts are annoying amd way too noisy.

 Why not let them play with each other? Get a place with a large field and let them learn the fun of traditional, physical play

A bubble show! I purchased bubble solution and will let kids blow bubbles themselves... It will be fun and different

totally diff ang kiddie parties sa US and sa pinas. sa US sa park lang, they set up those huge inflatables/bouncies. ayos na... this is what we plan to do on my nephew's 2nd or 3rd. sa garden lang ang party. hehe

I agree with khriseeee and twelve5.  Aside from magic show and puppet show, we already did storytelling, bubble show, arts and crafts and letting the children run around the playground thing.  I want to do an origami party in the future.  Also, a make your own pizza party (will check with Shakey's if they allow this kasi my children did this in a mini-field trip before).

For girls, ang dami like cupcake or cookie decorating, make your own bead or friendship bracelet, etc.

^^ok sana yan sis twelve kaso ang parks sa pinas maraming naghahang out na masamang loob/tao. When i suggested this sa husband ko tipong picnic style, dapat raw may security personnel or else pag may mangyaring d ok sa mga kids sagutin namin.

Ok ang party na ganito if malaki ang bakuran, may ok na park at walang issue sa security.

Pati nga swimming party iniiwasan namin kasi maghire pa na mag-man sa pool. Medyo isa sa priorities kasi namin ang safety aside sa mga usual priorities sa isa party.

Anyway, naitry na rin namin halos lahat bubble making at bubble show, cupcake decorating, DIY craft and friendship  bracelet making, atbp.

Itong next party kahit gasgas na among my kid's friends and classmates e gusto ko pa rin yun activity na turuan sila ng dance moves


Isa nga sa kinunsidera ko slumber party para magpillow fight sila, mag-spa2x etc kaso siguro later on na pag mas malaki na anak ko.

buti pa kayo ang dami nyo ng nagawa. kami we are just new at this so everything is new to us. hehe.. i learn a lot from you guys. 

stormy, kami din takot sa risk of drowning so a swimming party will never happen.

i like your idea of a dance lesson. mukhang fun yan. 

another acitvity na gusto ko pala is a trip to the zoo or ocean park para maski paano educational din.

one couple i know hosted a mini-petting zoo they had it set-up in school i think. baka ok rin to do the ceramic painting thing. masaya rin if there's build-a-bear in pinas.  anything they can do hands on or crafty. baka home depot has a kid's corner for kidfriendly building stuff.

There is a local version of build a bear - I think the one at Serendra is pretty large. I saw that featured on Oprah before, cute idea and it will be memorable for the kids since they customized the doll
