^agree. and I have to say nakakapagod ang madaming guests ha. and to think di naman lahat well-wishers. i want to share yung day syempre with people na i know na masaya talaga for us.
our emcee is our best man :) hihi :) tama mas maganda nga for some na yung emcee e kilala yung couple personally. we should learn to distinguish a wedding from other types of party.

ahihi. points taken.

Basta kami.

Church: Caleruega
Attendees: 40 including us. No babies allowed. Lahat ng nagddiaper at nagdedede bawal. :)
Reception: Ive yet to decide if sonyas (ayoko neto mahalia fuentes) still scouting sana may makapagsuggest...
Photo/Video: NONE
Cake: NONE
Souvenirs: still thinking
Bridal Car: NONE - TRICYCLE LANG!
Flowers: NONE baka DIY nalang
HMUA: NONE kami nalang
PROGRAM: NONE

Simple lang. :) What matters for me are that my friends and family will show up, ill take my vows, ill eat my own food sa reception (yung iba hindi na nakakakain sa sobrang busy sa wedding) and at the end of the day, i can still smile. :) for me, thats the simplest wedding that i can imagine.

tama.. pwede pa din naman ma execute ang dream wedding ng couples kahit hindi well known names in the industry, dami dyan na same caliber suppliers pero not as expensive like yung commercialized or celebrity-type of wedding..

No gown, just a simple white dress. The groom nag formal attire lang. No motif. Immediate family and super close friends lang. No photographer or videographer. No HMUA. No other suppliers. And they are now happily married.  :)

Everything now is overrated. I was talking to a college friend who's getting married in December, sabi nya, right now all they both want is to get married. The details of the wedding come second. In the end, it's all that's going to matter naman eh. Whether you had the grandest wedding with 500 guests or an intimate one, you'll still both end up married, Mr. and Mrs.

^ this.  ;) :D

^ try casa de carlo sis. or balay indang.  :D  masarap din food sa balay indang. try also moon garden. and if kasya ang 40pax sa marcia adams, try mo din. sa antonio's ba and bag of beans nakapaginquire ka na? ang daming magagandang venues sa tagaytay actually. u just have to be patient in looking.  ;)

nakakatawa minsan no sis. nakakabigla andaming details kapag may ikakasal. well kanya kanya naman yan. basta sana wag makalimutan yung essence.

Tapat kasi sa Mother's Day next year wedding namin. Medyo traffic sa Tagaytay. Haha.

Siguro kahit marami kaming pera, I wont spend hundreds of thousands for a one-day event. We'd rather spend it sa one-week or so getaway/honeymoon. hahaha. Pero as they say, kanya-kanya namang pananaw yan.  ;)

I'm a believer too :) You can make the best memories ng hinde gumagastos ng sobrang laki.

Sis, 3/4 of the total cost was spent on my engagement ring and our wedding rings. Simple lang din kasi kami :D and everything we spent was paid in cash, this was our priority.

I consider my wedding a bit simple dahil we didnt have a lot of those 'nice to haves' except probably for the place dahil sa Boracay kami, but the cost was really reasonable, mahal pa nga ang wedding ng mga friends ko sa Manila. Although for hubby it was very grand because weddings in Ireland are a lot simpler compared to weddings in pinas, because as everyone had said very commercialized na. Like sa abroad, one photographer lang so when we had 3 man-team photog and 2 for videos, na-impress mga foreigner guests.

I saw post a post re:tricycle. hubby rode a tricycle but I malapit lang naman ang resort sa church. but still he paid php75 lang for his ride. :)

My bestfriend hosted the wedding too.

I feel lang wedding photogs are really important so get a professional photographer or kahit amateur/friends basta magaling. Make a photobook afterwards na lang. And masarap panoorin ang SDE or in my case my 5 minute wedding highlight (we didnt play any video sa wedding dahil SDE was additional cost pa) so I waited a month or two before I got that 5 minute highlight.

But I attended a wedding na walang reception program ( couple just said a short thank you), 10 or 15 minute ceremony, no video, one photog, no bridesmaids, no flowers, simple talaga. They're Irish but got married in Spain. Good venue, good food, unlimited drinks, great after party, and an intimate one, that was the best wedding i've attended after mine of course. :)

I also want a simple wedding. Actually torn if grand or simple. The only thing na nakakapagpaisip sa akin is may position kasi ako sa company so baka umattend and magexpect ang mga bossings.  Other than that, the preps and all, nakakapagod. Hindi pa alam ni fiance but it's going to be in Tokyo, Japan. Actually, dapat Europe kaya lang dapat 3 weeks dun. Hindi ako papayagan. I'd rather spent it kasi sa house or travel. Pero saan nyo ba masusuggest na church and venue. In tagaytay, Manila or Batangas sana. Thanks sa lahat. November na pala this year ang wedding ko. Havent booked pa.

Church: Ina ng Laging Saklolo Parish
Reception: Balai Taal / Balai Isabel

I did not suggest Caleruega and Our Lady of Lourdes na. I'm guessing kasi baka puno na sila.

We got married last May 17  - simple lang for me dahil di sya ang dream wedding ko talaga. Ang importante is nandun yung family at close friends ko. Sa Nueva Ecija sya ginanap e. Mga 40 persons ang nagtravel from Manila. I am not sure if we had 150 guest. Nag more than estimate kasi kami sa food e. Madami sumobra pero outside pool kasi reception namin e. Kaya hanggang gabi madami pa ring kumakain dahil nagswiswimming yung mga guests. May mga natira pa kaming budget and we save it for the baby and our future. Mostly may sponsors kami kaya nakatipid talaga kami. Cake, invitation, 2 lechon, caterer, gown and others.
