I have one voucher kaso malapit na mag-expire so sa prenup photos ko na lang ittry. In case magustuhan ko, I'll make for our wedding photos din.

Some p/v services talaga would place about 10k on top of the package for a wedding album, coffee table lang yun ha.

Good idea nga na after the wedding na magpagawa ng album. Important is you have the digital copies. May extra funds ka pa to afford large prints na pwede mo ipaframe for your future house  ;D

hi mga sis. our budget for 50pax church wedding is 100k. i think simple na din yung plano naming wedding compare nga talaga sa mga ibang GTalkers dito.

here's our breakdown so far:
church- 5k
gown and suit- 10k
damit ng ento- sabi namin, sila na sumagot, as a wedding gift na nila samin. yung bridesmaids ko, sila na din secondary sponsors namin.
engagement shoot- 2k
photo coverage- 8k
rings- 21,000

sana wag kami mag-over sa 100k.

btw, yung invitations namin, ako lang din nag-lay-out. hehe.

Subscribing  :) Bf and I will be married sometime in September-October. Super simple church wedding lang gusto namin. No bridal march, no fancy decors, no songs, etc. Siguro good for 30-50pax  :D

i just want a simple caleruega wedding. tapos 40 pax lang. nothing grande. simple white flowers, simple dresses lang then eat somewhere nice in tagaytay lang. ayoko kasi ng mga programs ng wedding. Im planning:

caleruega- 15000
stipend- 3000
flowers- 1000
dresses- 10000
food- 20000
van for family- 5000
hotel preps- 3000
souvenirs- 1000
fireworks- 1000

thats it! 58000. much better if mas mababa pa. i just want to invite friends and family lang talaga to join us. no need for photographer. halos lahat naman ng friends ko naka smartphone na. Make up, kami nalang ng friends ko siguro sila din naman ang entourage. basta kami kami lang. tas friends ko na din magsisindi ng fireworks. something simple and nice lang talaga. Plan palang naman. :)

Gumastos kami around 55k sa wedding namin last 2011. Half ng expenses namin sa venue and food around 30k. Less than a month lang preparation namin kaya lahat kung ano na lang una ko makita buti na lang okay ang caterer namin. Wala kaming photo video pero left and right ang inutusan ni hubby para kumuha ng photos namin. DIY invitation namin ako, SILs and father in law ko gumawa kaya lang wala narin time ipamigay pero kinuha na lang ng ibang relatives namin souvenir daw. Wala kasi kaming souvenirs.

We are planning a very simple wedding lang din. In fact, kaya gusto namin out of town is because we want to invite few people lang.

I also am considering doing my own makeup.

Medyo malaki yung budget for 50pax kase out of town and gusto namin sagutin yung accommodation ng mga guests, and airfare ng immediate family.

For the ceremony and reception gusto namin laid back and relaxed lang since beach wedding kami.

Haha. Haha

I had a very simple outdoor wedding officiated by Justice of the Peace that lasted for maybe 10 mins ;D 10 attendees including JoP, in-laws, my friend and the rest were hubby's friends. No reception only lunch get together, no pre-nuptial pictorials, no professional wedding photographer only my MIL :D, no fee at the park, free 2 day hotel stay courtesy of in-laws.

Total damage including engagement ring, wedding bands, wedding dress, hubby's suit & tie, JoP fee, shoes, hairstyle (I did my own make up), boutonnière, bouquet & jewelries was around 11,000USD.

sissies i would just like to share yung napapansin ko ngayon. it seems like nacocomercialize na ang weddings and nakakalimutan natin yung intimacy nito.
andaming suppliers here and there ng kung [textspeak!] ano. yes the wedding is just a once in a lifetime event. pero nakakasad isipin na ang focus ng iba is to have a wedding like the celebrities. na 'we're getting this supplier they are the ones who covered (insert celebrity names here). stylist for wedding pre-nup post-nup, lahat na ipastyle. nakakahilo sa dami ng nag aasikaso ng event. my coordinator na iba pa yung kukunin mo for OTD. may string emcee live band etc.

Disclaimer: Di po ako nang aaway. Just sharing this in this thread because I believe na sa simple wedding thread na ito may makakagets what I mean.

Yun lang. Back to preps! :-)

It's not just in weddings but life in general :)

Business ito for suppliers and websites and bloggers so siyempre, icocommercialize nila.

i have to agree with you two sisses jentotmd and j.adore.

I remember my sister not wanting to hire an emcee on the wedding day, just because she wants someone who knows them personally as a couple. My other sister, and a barkada of my brother (who also hosted my 18th bday) ended up hosting the reception which turned out well, and what i liked about it was that it was a little informal and was very personal.

Everything now is overrated. I was talking to a college friend who's getting married in December, sabi nya, right now all they both want is to get married. The details of the wedding come second. In the end, it's all that's going to matter naman eh. Whether you had the grandest wedding with 500 guests or an intimate one, you'll still both end up married, Mr. and Mrs.
