Wala talaga sa budget namin to, ako lang talaga naginsist sa h2b ko na ayaw ko mastress on the day of our wedding. Thanks!

Sis, try mo Funtastic Events PH, Ryan Baroja, I booked them at 7k. Informally, I interviewed him and it appears that he's knowledgeable about the business. I got this impression na OC rin siya. You could text him at 09167525471.  :)

the simplest wedding i came to know (i wasn't invited!) is that of a couple who invited only their immediate families. pero they still had a church wedding. may walking down the aisle pa rin and all that. pero sila lang family, the bride and groom, and the priest, inside the church. the bride wore a simple gown na knee length only. the groom is my friend's brother. ang ganda! ang intimate sobra and very solemn.

i attended 2 of these a couple of years back... yep the bride were in a simple dress tapos naglagay lang ng veil.. and the groom in barong.. immediate family and closest friends lang like us..and the bride had one of her sisters walk ahead of her para medyo daw me suspense ng konti.. hindi na nya pinag march yung 2 principal sponsors nya..the groom was waiting at the altar..

the marriage rites and mass.. kasi sabi ng parish priest namin.. a wedding wont be complete without the mass...

we sang her favorite song while she was walking down the aisle..

sa bahay lang yung reception..

The Simplest Wedding I can imagine talaga is yung namention ko sa other thread na as in WALANG RECEPTION because aside from the fact that we are in budget eh ito ang pinaka objective ko at all is to TEST kung sino ang sincere to witness the celebration of your marriage kahit na alam na nilang wala itong reception o kainan at all. I can invite 1000 people here o buong baranggay kasi nga walang reception. Pero for sure maraming hindi gustong dadalo kasi nga walang kainan. Ayoko rin kasi yung idea na kaya ka pinuntahan sa wedding mo because of the reception. My objective now here is RESPECT and DECENCY.

Hi to all,

I am also planning for a very simple wedding. Small church, no entourage, no theme, 2 pairs of principal sponsor, no video or photography since my family is into photography as well, no bridal car, no choir.
Reception will be casual lunch in a restaurant, guests around 30 pax lang. People close to us lang talaga. I am planning on wearing a white dress lang din na knee-length. I will look nalang sa mall or if anyone can suggest where I can find yung simple lang na appropriate sa scenario or setup ng wedding. souvenirs hindi na din, and invitations. what's important for us is yung ceremony. Hopefully by next year na talaga. We have been planning this for the past years but I think this time ito na talaga. Do i need to wear veil pa or pwedeng wag na? required na talaga ang mga iba pang part ng ceremony like yung sa mga arrhae?

Hi sis, ito yung email nila sakin last Dec 2012.. i don't hink nagbago narin yung prices nila.. btw, this one is at their Makati Branch... the supervisor from Makati branch told me that their Tomas Morato branch has new site and can accomodate up to 200 guests daw..

RESERVATION PACKAGE
Whole 2nd floor maximum of 70 Pax Php 55,000+10% SC
Half    2nd floor maximum of 40 Pax Php 28,000+10% SC
Garden Area    Maximum of 30 Pax Php 18,000+10% SC
Bar Area     maximum of      40 Pax Php 28,000+10% SC
Whole Area   Maximum of  150 Pax Php 125,000+10% SC

Then mamimili ka nalang from their menu for the buffet... drinks ar enot included though, but they were generous to give bottomless iced teas during our wedding... hehe.. i don't know why, probably because we had some sort of misunderstanding and this was something they did para bumawi...

i checked romulo's and mukhang maganda nga. meron din ginawang civil wedding dun  nitong April kaya yung ceremony and reception, sa same venue nya.

thanks in advance!

food and venue lang ang inclusions... although malaki yung second floor nila kasi from the stairs going up pwede mo na sya gamitin... what we did was pati yung stairs and receiving area ng second floor we put wedding decors/details.

yung quote ng romulo you have to choose sa menu 2 sets lang sya one is 680 per person (pag nag excess ka sa max no of persons) and one is 780 na mas maraming choices... ours was 680 lang ok naman yung food masarap naman feeling ko lang kulang at di kami naasikaso ng maayos... but all in all wala naman ako super major reklamo... i posted the details in my blog... PM me nalang for the link and if you want me to send you a copy of the quotation that they gave us...

baka samin na wedding yung sinsabi mo nung April hehe we had our wedding there last april 28...we used the place kasi both for the ceremony and reception though it was a christian wedding not a civil wedding... we used our couple's table as an altar during the ceremony and same seat arrangements all throughout

^ ay sis sa inyo nga! :D :D actually ganun lang din gusto ko, though hindi Christian wedding (pero sana yung pastor friend ko pumayag :D) kasi atlis no need to have separate expenses for the church, transpo, etc. is it ok to ask nakamagkano kayo lahat lahat?

kung okay lang sis paemail naman sa kin nung quote from romulo's (gracealegonza@gmail.com) salamat in advance!

Wow...thank you all for the ideas. Mga next year pa naman ang date, but it helps to plan as early as possible.

SURE I'LL EMAIL ASAP   55K+10% service charge lang lahat hehe.. kais they gave us the bottomless iced tea for free (to make up for a misunderstanding.. lol!) pero try asking them din about the drinks if pano ba ang charge malay mo i-free din nila...

malaki nga natipid namin since one venue lang 4hrs naman yung use ng area, and christian weddings don't take that long kaya saktong sakto lang 30mins to prep area/receive guests, 1 hr ceremony, 15-30mins break, 1hr-2hrs reception... di kami nag additional heads kasi naging super strict din kami talaga sa number of guests kinulit namin lahat for rsvp.. may ibang nag rsvp who didn't attend, kaya yung photogs/videographer namin nakasama na sa total no of pax... sila lang suppliers namin na andun since my siblings and a friend coordinated the wedding... no photobooth... no singers... no HMUA were there except for the photogs/videographer... kasi super intimate wedding lang talaga (70 is intimate na for us kasi family palang ni hubby medyo madami na hehe.. pero nagkasya naman)

the tomas morato branch daw has a new area which can hold up to 200 guests if mas madami ang invited.. but we didn;t bother na to check
one tip though just make sure nagkaintindihan kayo ng manager/supervisor sa mga instructions and reminders.. hehe.. medyo may kaguluhan lang silang kausap... but all in all ok naman.. our guests loved the food and the place

Hello mga sis. Newbie here.

^ sis yung wedding ng bro ko and sis-in-law, INC din naman pero ang bongga. their theme is black and red. i don't think merong masasabi yung family ng hubby-to-be mo kung sasagot din naman family mo for the wedding. it's a matter of preference lang siguro and not because INC sila they prefer simple wedding or yung Catholic mas gusto bongga. :)
