go na kayo sis, kasi pag nagkababy na kayo di nyo na priority magpachurch wedding. lalo ka lang manghihinayang, kami nasa 50k lang din ang budget kasi simple lang din talaga gusto namin. kung masusuonod yung plan namin yung 2 girls ko lang ang abay then mga friends ko and their husband na mga principal sponsor. para kami kami lang din at syempre with our immediate family.

If I were to choose I'd go for an intimate wedding. I'll look for churches na pwede kahit wedding rites lang then reception would be in Stacy's. Affordable yung package nila eh and 40pax yung pwede sa indoor dining area. Perfect for intimate weddings talaga. Kaya lang this is only just a dream. Heheh. Impossible for us yung ganyang setup kasi malaki yung family ni fiance.

For our wedding naman instead of getting popular churches eh yung church sa lugar ni fiance yung kukunin namin. We won't be getting a caterer since relatives ni fiance yung magpeprepare ng food. So styling na lang ang kailangan and plan ko i-DIY para makatipid. ;) yung bro ni h2b got married last 2009, may mga nagsponsor ng iba like cake, invitations, souvenirs, but they only spent around 80k for 150guests na. Simple but beautiful wedding kahit binagyo. Heheh

Question!

What if, ang mag cacater e kayo din?

Their budget was 100k.

share ko lang yung mga ginawa nila to help those who are also planning to save a lot.

Invites, table cards, questionnaires, etc.
Church - UP church - discounted for alumnis - almni si bride. P3,500 lang ata
Bridal car - hiram sa kakilala.
Reception/Food/Cater - very basic and common lang pinili nila.
Honeymoon to Bora - regalo ng Ninong/Ninang

Kasi ang budget nila did not just go to the wedding. Bumili kasi sila ng bahay kaya chunk of their money went to that. Exactly after a year nabuntis na si wife and kotse naman ang binili nila.

sis, can you share your friend's suppliers here? kasi yung friend ko wants to get married na din kaya lang limited lang din ako budget nila. simple wedding lang din naman gusto nila. pashare naman ng caterer and p/v nila. thanks :)

general rules na alam ko:

single friend with bf/gf - its not mandatory to invite the bf/gf, esp if di nyo ka-close

engaged to be married friend - mandatory to invite the fiance

married friend - BOTO (buy one, take one) nga ito... BUT siguro (siguro lang ha, hehe), if limited nga budget ng couple, and di nila gano ka-close yung other half, ok lang siguro not to invite...  but personally i wouldnt do it. dyahe kasi.   ;D

I really told my bf that if they are budgeted then there is no need to invite me. Surprisingly I am part of their invites. Siempre natuwa ako.

Pero kapag may asawa usually talaga as courtesy na rin and since the celebration is about marriage then kasama talaga yung asawa mismo. But it can be case to case basis rin naman kasi saka there are still situation to consider. What if officemates mo ininvite mo rin since yun ang gusto mo and they also want to be part of your event to make them a witness tapos nataon sampu ang inimbita mo tapos lahat yun may asawa sabay hindi mo naman siempre ka-close o kakilala yung mga asawa, so I think on this case pwede naman siguro.

Hi, anyone can share the exact progrm or wedding rites ng intimate wedding?
I am getting married this March and naipush ni mom na magchurch pero simple lang instead of civil wedding.
Ill just wear plain white sunday dress, d pa ako nakakapunta sa church for interview kaya hopefully ill know na what to ask hihi

Kaya jason magbanua yung video eh.

an excerpt.

This wedding is not special because Elo has dwarfism.
It isn’t special because they had the most uniquely beautiful setup at the reception.
It was beautiful and special because, stripped down to its essence, this was about true love.
