importante yung makasal kayo at magtagal. dina impt yung bongga, basta may magagamit na pera sa pagsisimula. kesa magbongga ka, tapos after the wedding, magbabayad ng utang kasi ginamit sa kasal... diba mga sisess? at most importantly e for life kayo magsasama. meron kasing iba na bongga as in pero nag hihiwalay rin.
sis redlane - ours is not too simple pero we keep it pa din as solemn, small and intimate as possible. The whole guest list is composed of the immediate family members up to the 1st degree (tito, tita and pinsang buo) plus 20 or less na closest friends from both of our sides na. Since it's an intimate affair or a total of 100 pax lang talaga, we still have the whole entou pero members din from the guests/family ang kasama sa entou.BRIDE/GROOMPARENTS1 MOH (my sister)1 BM (my sister)2 FLOWER GIRLS (niece ni h2b and my niece)3 BEARERS (ring, bible, arrhae - all from my family side)1 BESTMAN (h2b's brother)1 GROOMSMAN (h2b's brother - partner ni Bridesmaid)3 FEMALE SS (2 girls from my family, 1 girl from h2b's)3 MALE SS (2 guys from h2b, 1 is my brother)3 PAIRS OF PSwe tried to complete everything just like the usual church ceremony/wedding pero pinaikot na namin among the guests ang entou. plus sagot naman nila ang mga damit nila except of course for our parents na we want na kami ang may sagot. kasi we are thinking na the wedding will be a celebration and tribute namin ito sa mga parents namin. So i guess yung list mo is OK lang din. To each his own di ba?
I agree with sis mizizlim on this one. I suggest you look for amateur photography peeps who are just starting out and are looking into building their portfolio. You can make a good deal in exchange for rave reviews or referrals here sa GT, other forums and FB. I'm sure that kind of deal would be more beneficial for them.
I'd like to think of it as "having the GRANDEST wedding our SIMPLE budget can afford". We have set a reasonable budget, and now we're doing our best to stretch it and get the best wedding we could get out of it.Venue (Balai Taal) - Preps & reception area - Both our families will be staying in the same house from the day before. This way it is easier to bond since the venue is not strict with the headcount and corkage fees. It has its own kitchen so we can bring our own food and cook. We can have a home-cooked rehearsal dinner the day before. Flexible check-in and check-out times so we can stay as long as we want, and guests can stay over if they need to sober up after the party.Church (Caleruega) - the church and surrounding gardens is already beautiful on its own. Even without no additional floral arrangements, I'm sure it will look great no in pictures. The surrounding scenery itself is enough to capture our guests interest so they're sure not to be bored. No need for airconditioning as Tagaytay already has a cool climate.Guestlist (100 pax, no children - We split the guest distribution in half, 50 guests for each including family and entourage. No children and only the closest of relatives and friends. We don't want our wedding to look like a circus - overflowing with people half of which we don't know. We wanted to keep it intimate and exclusive to friends and family who really matter.Entourage (all family, no children) - We trimmed the entourage to the essentials and kept it within the family - MOH (sister of the bride) - BM/Ring Bearer (brother of the groom) - Secondary Sponsors (brothers of the couple and their significant other) - Principal Sponsors (close friends of the couple's families)Rings and Ceremony Accessories (family heirlooms) - we re-used our parent's engagement ring and wedding accessories which are more meaningful and serves as a family heirloomCaterer/Stylist (Passion Cooks) - No need to get a separate stylist. We got a caterer who can style the venue as well. Also we love that their food are simple and unpretentious. No complex sounding names, just delicious comfort food.Save-the-Dates/Invitations/Thank You cards (Online) - Save paper. We'll just upload all the information online and just share the link to our friends. Aside from cutting down costs, it is friendlier to the environment. These last longer than printed invitations anyway.Just a reminder: Simple doesn't necessarily mean "tinipid". It's all about making practical decisions and sticking to the essentials.
plan din namin ni bf to have a simple and solemn wedding. gusto talaga namin beach wedding, para dun na ceremony at reception.
