We're from the south kasi. So I'm thinking Tagaytay sana. Pero ok din tong Archbishops Palace, I like it kasi small lang talaga.

Right now options namin:
1. San Antonio De Padua Quasi, Tagaytay
2. Chapel on the hill, Tagaytay
3. Mary Queen of Help, Paranaque
4. Nature Church, Las Piñas (For ocular- ayoko ng madaming usiyoso)
5. Archbishop's palace

dagdag ko na siya hehe Last option- mukha namang maganda at very cosy atmosphere. Perfect for intimate wedding. Madali naman maghanap ng hotel around the area

Baka alam pa kyo sis na small church- max of 20pax lang kasi

My BF of less than a month asked me to marry him. LOL. Kaloka. Syempre hindi ko pa tinanggap. Sabi ko, magbatian muna kami ng "Happy 1st Monthsary" bago namin isipin yan.

But IF God willing, kami nga ang magkatuluyan...I would really want a simple wedding...Christian/Catholic siya, so pwede ang beach/garden wedding...Yun ang gusto ko, just our immediate family and super close friends, no plus one!

I would wear a simple dress, may boquet pa rin naman para naman feel na feel ko pa rin ang pagiging bride. Good suggestion yung sponsor sila na rin yung veil, candle, cord.

Pero sis, mas maganda nga na you walk down the isle pa rin. Not only for you, but for your h2b as well. Masarap siguro sa feeling yung ganon, that you see your future wife walking towards you in full surrender. hehe.

^sis maria_masungit , have you checked on Pamana restaurant (resto ba tawag dito?), it's along Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay. You might wanna check that baka ma-tripan mo yung setup, very homey. Kung nagkataong natuloy yung small wedding na pinlano namin dati, baka naglunch na lang kami sa Pamana after the ceremony. From San Antonio de Padua Quasi Church, Silang madadaanan sya before reaching Tagaytay Ridge.

Share ko lang yung intimate/simple wedding namin ni h2b... I booked edsa shangri-la [textspeak!] The Heat kasi may buffet sila doon na breakfast , lunch and dinner..then [textspeak!] pinaka malaking function room nila na pwede 40-45 max hehe....immediate family ko lang tsaka closest friends...Christian wedding so iisa nalang ang ceremony and reception, then i booked young breakfast nila para mas makatipid (P1003/head) then, lagyan lang namin ng petals yung mga tables then may for free na yung podium tsaka yung cake na in-up grade from chocolate mousse to cheesecake! meron sila flatscreen TV dun and speaker kaya pwede rin ipalabas yung AVP nyo or slideshow if any :p

ayoko tipirin ang photo and video / wedding rings kasi yun na lang nag matitira after the event..kung nag titipid, pwede namang kunin nalang ang services nila then tsaka nyo ipa print sa may recto kapag may money na rin..give aways? caricature ng mga guests, meron on-the - spot na for 30-40 guests, P3.5k lang

[textspeak!] paba, [textspeak!] HMUA ko, nakuha ko siya for 6.5k airbrush package na (bride, groom, mom of the bride)

hi, we are 12 years civilly married, and finally this year we will have our church wedding. we have considered a lot before we finally decided to have OUR style of wedding, (believe me girls talagang nag-nose bleed ako sa mga previous wedding plans namin at sobrang stressed ako for how many days of goggling for wedding ideas and stuffs..i even filled up a whole notebook of compiling these..)

finally, we said enough and we'll get ahead of what we really wanted, because of the following reasons;

1. money wise.

for a traditional church wedding ceremony and reception, gagastos pala kami between P120k-200k, sa small intimate wedding with family & closest friends around P30k-50k lang.

sayang, ang wedding gown, nagcanvass ako, i would spend 20k to 30k for a gown that i get to wear for less than a day, san ko pati siya itatago after, sobrang stocked na house namin of stuffs..sayang naman.

2. family participation.

sa laki ng family namin choosing who would participate is a big issue ayoko ng tampuhan dapat happy kami on the special day..we don't want them to fish out money to buy clothes to wear sa wedding, sayang rin gagatos pa sila.

sa gastos ng entourage, its another issue kami lang rin kasi ang medyo nakakaluwag sa mga siblings niya, e ayaw ko rin naman ma-outshine sila ng side ng family ko..kaya kami nalang sasagot sana ng mga gastos..as it is gastos uli :-(

3. bridal march.

though i want to feel special on my church wedding day, im not comfortable walking on the aisle alone,..kasi mga sis..ehemm medyo di na rin naman ako kaseksihan at kabataan, baka imbes purihin ako eh, machurva pa ako..wawa naman me.

4. guests.

sa tagal na rin namin mag-asawa we have accumulated lots of friends na rin way back singlehood days pa namin, sa offices namin, sa grad schools, sa school ng mga bata..may son accidentally told a mommy friend in school na magch-church wedding kami ayon parang wildfire, nalaman na ng lahat and 'harmlessly', they all want to be invited (my!)

..bottomline, we just wanted this day to be between us and the Lord, cyempre we wanted those people who have shared those 12 years with us to be there to witness this,...simple, pure and low cost =)

nevertheless, i want to add some flair mga diys..i know you guys are generous in sharing ideas i'll just browse other threads here..=)

Sis - ang mahalaga, you have been wise in your decision to have the blessing of the church sa pagsasama niyo ni hubby no.. not naman saying na God has not been the center of your relationship for the past 12 years.. tatagal ba naman kayo ng ganyan if not..  don't do this for others.. do it for yourself, your family and your kids.. wala kang utang na loob naman siguro sa ibang mga tao to throw a grand wedding or reception na magarbo ang handaan.. ok lang yan.. kahit kayo lang ng immediate family nyo and closest friends ayos na.. 

congrats in taking the leap of faith and deciding to tie the knot..

@iamruthie-correct again  , sabi ko nga if i want to use paisleys, plaids and polka dots in glaring neon colors as a theme care nila hehe..kung kami lang ni hubby kahit bukas sis punta na kami sa church eh. but everyone one wants to take part, including our kids pati planning nakikisali so we have to give in quite thought rin.

right now, what we want is a simple church wedding rite i believe this would be more solemn for us care ko naka-catcha ako basta at that moment we want to be in one with the Lord, and the reception would be small & private but in a more romantic and relaxed ambiance. no kids affair maliban sa mga anak namin of course..

question mga sis: what should i expect sa small church wedding rite..what part ang na-omit sa traditional wedding ceremony? ivtried asking our parish attendant kaso sabi balik nalang ako a month before our desired date, kainis.

yup, maikli talaga. mga max 15 minutes  ask mo yng parish admin coordinator kng ano yng pwede mo idagdag.
