mga sis, i've suffered from this problem too. first step is to figure out what's causing your bad breath. sometimes, skipping meals causes it. or sometimes it can also be a sign of a health problem kaya kelangan magpacheck. pwede din may cavities.. so regular cleaning with the dentist is necessary. that's what i did. and then for maintenance, i brush with closeup fire-freeze after i eat.. even if i don't feel like my breath smells yet.

eating apple everyday can really help. Drink lots of water.

Sabi nila minsan sa stomach nga daw. Ako minsan, na bad breath din kapag hindi nga nag breakfast.

pag merong sirang ngipin na hindi pa napapaayos sa dentist, sad to say, always positive talaga yan sa bad breath, kaya its a must that you brush your teeth often para hindi rin masyadong mabilis yung pagkasira nung natitirang ngipin,

is tonsillectomy ok? ano gagawin dun? planning rin to check with an ENT... as for me, i always brush my teeth every after meal and mouthwash sometimes after brush (kc di dw pede araw arawin).... but still, why do i get the feeling na it's still not working... anjan pa din si BB... hopefully tonsillectomy ang sagot... ang hirap pag may BB ka...specially if you know na you don't lack proper hygiene...

^ tonsillectomy wont do anything about the bad breath actually.

inaalis lang yan if madalas namamaga or medyo naging enlarged na even without infection etc. kaya parang wala syang direct connection sa bad breath.

some factors that you wanna consider are : are you skipping meals? do you have cavities? are your brushing your teeth enough to keep them clean? do you have gingivitis? sufficient na ba yung toothpaste that you are using? and of course, how often do you brush your teeth.

avoid using mouthwash with alcohol, oracare, bactidol and betadine gargle work really well in keeping your breath fresh. also avoid chewing gum na may sugar, dapat sugarfree because bacteria feeds on sugar, kaya medyo magiging stale din ang odor ng breath mo if you chew on something that has sugar naman, sa umpisa lang sya magiging minty and fresh, but after a while, balik sa dati din yan.

yung gingivitis, or bleeding gums is one of the common causes of bad breath, kaya isa rin yan sa mga dapat tutukan ng attention. and of course, make sure you visit your dentist at least every 3 months kung meron kang gum/teeth problem, a bit magastos but if it would help you be more confident and would treat naman your worries, edi okay narin.

alcohol in mouthwash doesn't even kill plaque / germs. they're just there to make the other ingredients of the mouthwash mix. better talaga if non-alocohol mouthwash.

sis babyjap, what if dry mouth/xerostomia ang cause kaya may bad breath? Anong cure dun? I tried everything na from mouth gel to dry mouth toothpaste pero lahat hindi effective. Sobrang dry pa rin ng mouth ko at laging may parang may ibang lasa.

Hi. I just read in the newspaper about glandosane spray solution. It says that it replaces saliva in dry mouth and regenerates the natural moisture in the oral cavity. You might want to give it a try.

Mga sis, TRY GC DRY MOUTH gel.. Sad to say wala sya sa mga stores, but usually you can buy these or order from Dentists..

diet is also one factor. my officemate who doesn't eat gulay - her breath stinks. partida ha nagpadentista na yun kasi nagpabraces. i'm sure her dentist addressed her halitosis already. but i think that's what really causes her problem. ni mushroom sa pizza tinatanggal niya eh. oh well....

mga sis, i also suffered from BB. and it was because of the slimming coffee i was drinking. side effect was dry mouth. pumapayat nga ako, ayun pala nagkaBB na ako. kahit ano inom ko ng water, dry mouth pa rin. kaya i stopped na. 1st step is to identify the root cause - perhaps diet, hygiene or medical condition.
also i've read abt natural ways to cure BB:
1. chew on parsley
2. avoid dairy, spicy and coffee (ang hirap nito)
3. regular brushing and flossing
4. restore flora of your stomach (i'm thinking of yakult)

nung college ako pansin ko na bad breath ako kaya nahihiya akong makipag usap ng malapitan sa tao. then may nabasa ako na pag magsisipilyo tayo dapat sipilyuhan din natin gyung tongue natin so na try ko yun and napansin ko na ok na breath ko then ni brush ko rin lips ko at yung side wall ng mouth ko and inner lips...pansin ko after nun di na talaga ako bad breath.

for the first time mag bibigay ako ng advice. lol tama yung mga na mentioned dito nila sisses, just pay attention in brushing the tongue especially remove the white stuff in it every after meal. Ako, I can say na ito na yung solution. minsan kahit walang mouthwash okay na. yun nga lang ang tagal ko mag brush i think mga 10 to 15 mins.
